High Resolution LPR Camera
Introduction
The Twilight Pro LPR camera adopts a high
resolution CCD, the new ISP and high speed
MCU design, which are very easy to use due
to the wired button or RS485.
The LED bright-ness can be adjusted. The
camera has a built in fan and heater and
double layer waterproof housing which is
weather sealed.
This is field proven for successful application
in extreme environments.
Specifications
Installation guide
Install the camera above the vehicle, and
avoid car headlight and sunlight from shining
directly into the camera.
For best results, the angle of elevation should
be about 30 degrees above the vehicle and no
more than 15 degrees off to either side.
The License plate should take up at least 10%
of the height of the image.
Adjust the zoom and focus once the camera is
positioned according to the suggestions
above.
The light sensor location is at the back of the
camera housing.
Avoid vehicle headlights shining at this too.
Connections

3. RS-485 Connection
Connect the power supply. The camera can
utilise up to 1A at 12V DC.
Connect the CVBS to a Monitor or DVR.
Use L (mode -) or R (mode +) to adjust the
operation mode
The LED brightness can be adjusted using the
Up (brightness +) Down (brightness -)
Save using the centre push down button.
RS485 - The RS-485 allows the mode of
operation to be altered too.

High Resolution LPR Camera
The address can be altered from 1 to 32
Refer to the table for the jumper settings.
This is the jumper block.
It is located inside the camera housing, so the
water shields will need to be removed and the
camera opened up to alter.
Pins 1 to 5 are for the address selection.
RS-485 Controller Options
Pre-set 101 to 106 –Set mode 1 to 6
Pre-set 201 –Save Set IR brightness
Up increases IR brightness
Down decreases IR brightness
LED Brightness
The IR LED brightness can be adjusted
between full brightness and off. The closer
the vehicles are to the camera, the lower the
IR brightness should be.
Using the on cable control
Down - LED Brightness decrease
Note: You can disable the IR LEDs by
decreasing the brightness to 0
Up - LED brightness increase
Ensure you save the settings
Centre –Press down to save setting
Operation Modes
The operation modes may need to be
adjusted.
This adjust the shutter speed of the cameras.
Mode 1 –1/120
Mode 2 –1/250
Mode 3 –1/500
Mode 4 –1/1000
Mode 5 –1/2000
Mode 6 –1/4000
Mode 3 or 4 are recommended for night time
with medium IR brightness.
