The VehicleMonitoringsystemworkswithmost1996
and newervehicles(cars,lighttrucks,SUVsand
minivans)soldin theUnitedStatesincluding domestic,
AsianandEuropeanimports.
Before you startinstallation, please visit
delphiconnect.com/fitment to make sure
your vehicle is compatible with the Vehicle
Monitoringsystem.
The fitmentguidewill alsotellyou if a RelocationKit*
is recommendedfor yourvehicle. The Delphi
relocationkitcan be purchasedat uscellular.com

SmartphoneSetup
Step1: DownloadDelphi Connect
SmartphoneApp
•Launchyour smartphone’s app store-either
GooglePlayStoreforAndroidorAppStorefor
iPhone.
•Searchfor theDelphiConnectapp and
downloadit to yoursmartphone.
If theapp isnot availablefor yourphone,pleaseuse
thewebsiteat uscc.delphiconnect.com.

Step2: SignIntoyourDelphiAccount
LaunchtheDelphiConnectapp.
•In theUsernamefield,enter
theRegistrationKeyexactly
as it isprinted on themodule
label–includingthe dash.
•In thePasswordfield,enter
theMEID Dec exactlyas it is
printedonthemodulelabel.
•Reviewand acceptthe
privacy statementand termsof
use.
•Whenprompted,change
Usernameand Passwordto
somethingeasyto remember
but hard forotherpeopleto
guess. Passwordsmustbe at
leastsixcharacterslongand
includeatleastone number.
Usernamescanbe anylength
and do not haveto includea
number.
•Nowyou’re ready to installthe
modulein yourvehicle.

Step3: FindYourVehicle’s OBD Connector
Port
It’s usuallyon or under thedash,on thedriver’s side.
Otherpossiblelocationsare thecenterconsolearea or
insidethe glovecompartment.
NeedhelpfindingyourvehiclesOBDport?
UsetheOBDLocatorintheapptoseeapicture
of wheretheOBDport is in yourvehicle.After
loggingin forthefirsttime,clickthebuttonlabeled
OBDLOCATOR. Ifneeded, youcan accessthe
locatorfromthewebsiteandfromtheapp. On
thewebsite,clickon yourUsernamein theupper
righthand corner.Fromthedrop downmenu,
clickthebuttonlabeledOBDLOCATOR.Inthe
mobileapp, thisfunctionis locatedin Menu>
Settings.
NOTE:TheDelphiConnect app willremainloggedinindefinitely,
unlesstheuserlogsout usingtheMENUand Log Outselection.
NOTE: The Delphi Connect app will be updated periodically and you
will receive notification of updatesvia standard Android and iOS app
update notifications.

Step4: InstallYourModule
UseyourU.S.Cellular®smartphonetocheckthatyou
haveastrongsignalwhereyourvehicleisparked.
•Make sure your vehicle is parked outside
in a safe location and the engine is turned
off.
•Now plug the module into the OBD port
(or into the extension cable if it is
required). Make sure that the module is
fully seated.
•Wait for the Status LED to turn solid blue.

Step5: InitiateModuleSetup
Stop!
Do not proceed untiltheStatusLEDis solid blue,
indicatingactivationontheU.S.Cellular® network.
•Insertyour vehicle’s ignition keyand turn it to
the onposition(not ACC/Accessory).Do not
starttheengine!
•Typically,all of the warninglampson the
dashboardwillilluminatebrieflyin this position
•Forpushbutton-startvehicles,the procedure
is typicallytopushthe startbutton without
yourfoot onthebrake(checkyour vehicle
owner’s manual to determinehow many
pressesare requiredto turntheignitionon).

•Pressand holdthe FunctionButtonon the side
of the VehicleMonitoringModuleuntilthe
StatusLED blinksred one time.This will occur
afterapproximately5seconds.Thenreleasethe
FunctionButton. The LED will blinkred while
vehiclesetupoccurs.
•Waitup to 30 secondsforthe LEDto displaya
mixof solidand blinkinggreen.
•Wait an additional 10 seconds for the LED to
go out.
•When the LED begins to flash blue every 10
seconds, setup is complete.
Stop!Yourvehiclemaynot be compatiblewiththe
VehicleMonitoring system(checkthefitmentguideat
delphiconnect.com/fitment) or you didnot placethe
ignitionin theOnposition. Do not proceedif theStatus
LED neverturnedgreen but insteadreturnedto solid
blue.
NOTE:ThefirsttimetheVehicleMonitoringconnectstothe U.S.
Cellular®network, it will perform a one-timenetworksetupwhichwill
takeseveral minutes.
NOTE:Toavoidany unnecessarydrainon thevehiclebattery,itis
recommendednot toleavetheVehicleMonitoringinthesolidblue
statefor morethan24 hours.

Step6: VerifyModuleSetup
•Starttheengineand letit run for at least 30
seconds.
•Stopthe engineand waitat least20seconds.
Youare nowreadytoaccessyourvehicle information
using theDelphiConnectapp.
Finish Setup Usingthe Delphi Connect App
•OpentheDelphiConnectapp and, if needed,
SignInusingtheUsernameand Password you
createdin Step2. Seepage8.
•Youshouldseethe Dashboardscreen.Ifnot,
taptheRetrybutton.
•If youstilldo not seethe Dashboardscreen,go
to theTroubleshootingsection of this guide.
Congratulations,youhave
completedsettingupyour
module.

ModuleRemoval&Re-Pairing
Procedure
In theeventthat youneed to bringyourvehiclein for
serviceor to haveit inspected,wheretheOBD port
needsto be accessible,it is recommendedthat you
removethe VehicleMonitoringfrom your OBD port.
In order to repairyourmodulewith yourvehicle,
pleasereferto page11 and followsteps5and6.
AnytimetheVehicleMonitoringModuleis removed
from theOBDport, theseinstructionsshouldbe
followed.

KeyFobSetup Requirements
Stop!BeforeYouBegin
•Verifythe keyfob featurewill work with your
vehiclebyvisitingthefitmentguideat
delphiconnect.com/fitment.
If yourvehicleis not compatible,thisfeaturewill not
work in yourvehicleat this time.However,your
vehiclemaybecomecompatibleat alaterdate.
Your VehicleMonitoringsystemallowsyou to program
up totwokeyfobsintothemodule.
NOTE:Itisnecessarytoperformthisstepinyourvehiclebecauseyou
maybe promptedat timestoturnyourignitionkeyand pressspecific
vehiclebuttons.

KeyFobSetup
PairKeyFobwithYourVehicleMonitorings
•SelectMenu by tapping theDelphiiconin the
DelphiConnect app.TaptheKeyFob menu
option.
•Whenpromptedto configurethekeyfob,tap
YES and followtheprompts.
Followingsuccessfulpairingof yourmodule’s key fob
feature,youshouldbe ableto use yourDelphi
Connectapp to sendkeyfob commandsover the
U.S. Cellular®Networkto yourvehiclein the same
manneras youwouldwith your manufacturer’s key
fob. In addition,you canalso usethe websiteto send
keyfobcommandsto your vehiclewith your internet
connection.Setupis completeand you mayproceed
to Application&ServiceFeatures unlessyou would
liketo setupBluetooth®connectivitybetweenyour
smartphoneand your module.

Bluetooth®Pairing(DirectConnect)
The Bluetooth®(DirectConnect)featureletsyou
accessthekeyfobfunctionson yourDelphiConnect
app when withinBluetoothrange of the Vehicle
Monitoring(up to30feet).
Thisfeaturerequires:
•Successfulcompletionof theKeyFob Setup.
•AcompatiblesmartphonewithBluetooth.
Step1: PairSmartphoneBluetooth to Vehicle
MonitoringModule
•AccesstheDelphiConnectapp MENU by
tapping theDelphiiconin theupper-leftcorner
on an Androidor themenuiconon an
iPhone.
•Tap SettingsfollowedbyVehicleSettings.
•Tap thevehiclein whichtheVehicleMonitoring
is currently installed.
•Tap BluetoothSettings.
•Tap Discoverto activateBluetoothpairing.
•The StatusLEDon your moduleshouldbegin
flashingblue.
•Pressyourphone’s Homebutton.

•Followtheproceduresforturningon your
smartphone’s Bluetooth®feature.
•Tap SearchforDevicesif yourphone doesn’t
beginscanningautomatically.
•WhenACT212USCCappearsas anavailable
deviceselectit.
•The deviceACT212USCCshouldnow showas
paired.
STEP2: AuthorizeSmartphone’s Bluetooth
KeyFobFunctionality
•Returnto the Delphi Connectapp. If your
phone doesn’t appear onthelistof Bluetooth
phones, tap the Back button and then re-enter
Bluetooth Settings.
•Your phonewillbelistedas Unauthorized.
•Tapthenameof yourphone.
•Tap Authorizeto enableyourphonetoprovide
KeyFob controloverBluetooth.
•Tap top left icon on an Android or back on
the iPhone until you return to the Delphi
ConnectMenupage.

•Observe the LED on the Vehicle Monitoring
and wait until it returns to flashing blue every
10 seconds.
•TaptheKeyFobmenuitemandtestthe
buttons.
Congratulations,Setupis complete!

must completethepairingwithinthistime.
