We recommend that you protect your networks from harmful outdoor env  ronments
and destruct  ve ESD events w  th  ndustr  al-grade, sh  elded Ethernet cable from
Ub  qu  t  . For more deta  ls, v  s  t u  .com/toughcable
Surge protect  on should be used for all outdoor  nstallat  ons. We recommend that
you use two Ethernet Surge Protectors, model ETH-SP, one near the PowerBeam and
the other at the entry po  nt to the bu  ld  ng. The ETH-SP w  ll absorb power surges
and safely d  scharge them  nto the ground.

Reset Button
Release Button
Th  s G  gab  t Ethernet port  s used to connect the power and should be connected to
the LAN and DHCP server.
To reset to factory defaults, press and hold the Reset button for more than 10
seconds wh  le the dev  ce  s powered on. Alternat  vely, the dev  ce may be reset
remotely v  a a Reset button located on the bottom of the G  gab  t PoE Adapter.
After you assemble the PowerBeam, check the Release button;  t should be fully
engaged  n the Release Button Slot of the Rear Hous  ng. Th  s ensures that the
Antenna Feed  s locked  nto place. If you need to remove the Antenna Feed, you
must depress the Release button f  rst.

In a  rOS®, you can mod  fy the threshold value for the w  reless s  gnal strength LEDs
on the W  reless tab under S  gnal LED Thresholds. Each LED w  ll l  ght when the
w  reless s  gnal strength  s equal to or greater than the LED’s threshold value. The
default threshold values for these LEDs are shown below:
The Ethernet LED w  ll l  ght steady blue when an act  ve Ethernet connect  on  s made
and ash when there  s act  v  ty.
The Power LED w  ll l  ght blue when the dev  ce  s connected to a power source.
