Safety and Handling Precautions
Camera Information
•Do not take apart or attempt to service the camera ourself.
•Do not expose the camera to moisture, or extreme temperatures.
•Allow the camera to warm up when moving from cold to warm
temperatures.
•Do not touch the camera lens.
•Do not expose the lens to direct sunlight for extended periods.
•Do not use abrasive chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents to
clean the product. Wipe the product with a slightl damp soft cloth.
•Do not use the flash or LED Light near a person's e es to prevent possible
e e injur .
•To prevent ou from falling over or resulting in traffic accident, please do
not use the camera while ou are walking, driving or riding a vehicle.
•Please handle the camera strap with care, and never place the strap
around the neck of an infant or child. Wrapping the strap around a neck
ma cause suffocation.
•Do not subject the LCD monitor to impact.
•To prevent the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this appliance to

Battery Information
•Turn off the camera before installing or removing the batter .
•Use onl the provided batteries or t pe of batter and charger that came
with our camera. Using other t pes of batter or charger ma damage the
equipment and invalidate the warrant .
•When using Li-ion batter in this product, ensure that the are inserted
correctl . Inserting the batter upside down can cause damage to the
product and possibl cause an explosion.
•When the camera is used for an extended period of time, it is normal for
the camera bod to feel warm.
•Download all pictures and remove the batter from the camera if ou are
going to store the camera for a long period of time.
•The t pe of batter and the batter power level ma cause the lens to be
stuck up. Ensure ou use the correct batter t pe and use a full charged
batter .
•Risk of explosion if batter is replaced b an incorrect t pe. Dispose of
used batteries according to the instructions.
•Please keep the batteries out of the reach of children to prevent from
swallowing batteries, which might cause poisoning.

Camera Buttons
Your camera is equipped with different buttons for ease of use.

Power
Press the Power button to turn the power on/off.
Shutter
Press to capture an image or start/stop recording audio clip.
Zoom
button
In photo and movie mode, Press the Zoom button (left/right) to
zoom out/zoom in.
In Pla back mode, press button to zoom in to magnif image or
zoom out enter 9-image/calendar thumbnails.
Menu
Press to enter or exit menu/submenu.
Fn/Delete
In Photo mode, press to enter function menu.
In Pla back mode, press to delete an image, video or audio clip.
Pla back
Press to enable Pla back mode or return Record mode.
Movie
Press to start/stop recording video.

Navigation Control
The 4-way Navigation Control and the O button allow ou to access the
various menus available from the On Screen Displa (OSD). You can configure a
wide range of settings to ensure maximum results from our images and videos.

AE/AF
LOCK/Up
1. To lock AE/AF, press the AE/AF LOCK/Up button in Program
Mode or half press the shutter button and then press the
AE/AF LOCK/Up button.
2. To unlock AE/AF b an one of the following wa s:
•Press the AE/AF LOCK/Up button
•Press the Zoom button
•Press the MENU/Fn/Pla back/Movie/Power button to
launch another function
•Switch to Super Macro/Manual Focus (For unlocking AE

3. In Menu, press to navigate through the menu and submenu
selections.
Macro/Left
1. In Photo Mode, press to scroll through Macro options. (Auto
Focus, Super Macro, Pan Focus, Infinit and Manual Focus)
2. In Pla back mode, press to view the previous image, video
or audio clip.

the menu selections.

1. Confirm a selection when using the OSD menus.
2. In Pla back Movie/Audio mode, press to start video or audio
pla back.
Camera Memory
Internal memory
Your camera is equipped with 64MB of internal memor . Users can store files up
to 33.4MB. If there is no memor card inserted in the memor card slot, all
images, videos and audio clips recorded are automaticall stored in the internal
memor .
External storage
Your camera supports SD cards of up to 4GB in size. It also supports SDHC cards
with a maximum capacit of 32GB. Then also supports SDXC cards with a
maximum capacit of 64GB. If there is a storage card inserted in the memor
slot, the camera automaticall saves all images, videos and audio clips in the
external storage card. The icon indicates the camera is using SD card.
Not all cards ma be compatible with our camera. When purchasing
a card, please check the card's specifications and take the camera
with ou.

Getting Started
Attach the Camera Strap
Inserting the Battery
Follow these instructions to insert the rechargeable batter into the
batter /memor card compartment.
Please read "Batter Information" on page 6 before inserting/removing
batteries.
1. Make sure the power is off before inserting
the batter .
2. Unlock and open the batter /memor card
compartment at the bottom of the camera.
3. Insert the batter into the compartment
with the terminal facing inside the camera
with correct orientation as shown.

4. Close and lock the batter /memor card
compartment.
Inserting an SD/SDHC/SDXC Memory Card
Expand our camera’s storage b using SD,
SDHC or SDXC memor cards.
1. Unlock and open the Batter /memor card
compartment at the bottom of the camera.
2. Insert the SD/SDHC/SDXC card into the
memor card slot with the metallic part
facing the back side of the camera.
3. Push the SD/SDHC/SDXC card into the
memor slot until it clicks into place.
4. Close and lock the Batter /memor card
compartment.
To remove the SD/SDHC/SDXC card
1. Unlock and open the batter /memor card
compartment.
2. Gentl push the card until it pops out.
3. Pull out the card carefull .
Windows 2000/XP are not support SDXC card (exFAT format). But in
Windows XP (Service Pack 2 or 3), ou can download exFAT patch
update to support SDXC card.

Charging the Battery by USB
In other wa charging the batter , ou can use the USB cable to connect the
camera with PC or USB adapter.
1.Connect the camera with the USB
cable as shown.
2.Connect the other end with the USB
adapter and plug it into a power outlet
or with the USB port of PC directl for
charging.
•When the batter is charging, the
LED indicator flashes.
•When the batter is full charged,
the LED indicator goes off.
•When the batter is unusual
charged, the LED indicator flashes
rapidl .
•When the camera charges without
the batter inside, the LED indicator
goes off.
•It's recommended not operating the camera when charging.
Actual charging time depends on current batter capacit and
charging conditions.
•You can also charge the batter with Apple adapter.
Turning the Po er On and Off
There are two wa s to turn on the camera:
• Press the Power button, then the startup image displa s briefl and the
startup sound pla s if enabled. The zoom lens extends and the camera is
turned on in Record mode.
• Press the Pla back button, then the camera is turned on in Pla back mode.
The zoom lens is not extended.
To turn off the camera, press the Power button.

Initial Settings
When ou turn on our camera for the first time, ou will be asked to do the
initial settings of our camera. First is the setup of language menu. Specif in
which language menus and messages are to be displa ed on the LCD monitor.
Setting the anguage
1.Press , , or to move through the selection.
2.Select a language, and then press O to appl .
Setting the Date & Time
1.Press or to move through the selection.
2.Press or ke s to change the value for the date and time.
3.Press O to appl .
4.If necessar , press to close the menu.
Now, ou are read to start taking images and videos.
Holding down or ke s to change the values continuousl .
Modes
Your camera has three modes:
Record Mode
This is the default mode while ou turn on the camera ever time. You are
able to take images and record audio clips in this mode.
Playback mode
Press the Playback button after the camera is turned on to view and
edit captured images or pla back videos and audio clips. The recording of
voice memo attached to images is available in this mode.
Movie mode
Press the Movie button after the camera is start/stop recording video
in this mode.

Using the LCD monitor
The LCD monitor shows all important information regarding camera settings as
well as the visual image of our image or video. The displa on the LCD monitor
is called the On Screen Displa or OSD.
