5. After c oosing CLOCK or ALARM, set time by pus ing S,
pus ing SHIFT, and keying in numbers only. One digit num
bers must be written wit a zero (eg. 02).
6. Use COLOR to adjust TV color controls and fine tuning.
To Insert A Cartridge
1. Slide cartridge out of cardboard sleeve.
2. Pus eject button above keyboard on console.
3. Slide cartridge into tracks. Pus door s ut.
4. Pus MASTER CONTROL.
achine Set Up
VideoBrain must be set up exactly rig t in order to work
properly. C eck t roug detailed set-up and operating in
structions in Owner’s Manual. Work t roug c ecklist at
end of Owner’s Manual and also c eck manual or cartridge
broc ure to make sure you are expecting VideoBrain to do
only w at it is programmed to do.
Mac ine Warm Up Your new VideoBrain computer, like its larger counterparts,
is built around complex and sop isticated large scale
integrated circuits w ic require normal operating
temperature for proper performance. It is possible t at
during t e first few minutes after t e VideoBrain as been
turned on, and is still warming up, you will notice t at t e
picture on your TV set jiggles somew at. T is is perfectly
normal and will cease as soon as t e mac ine as reac ed
its operating temperature (2-5 minutes).
Machine Power UpUnder certain circumstances, w en t e VideoBrain is initially
turned on, you may see eit er a blank TV display or a display
t at makes no sense. T is is not a malfunction, but simply
t e result of some random initial condition in t e memory
banks of t e mac ine. To correct, merely turn t e power off
and t en on again and Key Master Control. Repeat once
or twice if necessary.
