READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS AND ALL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS BEFORE USING THE MACHINE.
•!This machine is intended to prepare coffee, tea and herbal tea by the use of capsules type FAP or N.
•!Do not use it for any other use other than the specified.
•!This machine is designed for a domestic use and in conditions of temperature not extreme.
•!Protect the machine from direct sunlight and contact with water and moisture sketches.
•!This machine is designed exclusively for domestic use and similar applications such as small kitchens for employees in shops, offices
and other workplaces, even for hotel customers, motels, hotels and other accommodation facilities.
•!This machine can not be used by children or persons with physical, mental or sensory reduced without the supervision of a person
responsible for their safety.
•!Children should not play with the machine.

1- SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
THE MACHINE MUST BE CONNECTED TO THE POWER SUPPLY ONLY AFTER ITS INSTALLATION
•!Do not pass the power cord on sharp edges.
•!Keep the machine away from heat and humidity.
•!If the power cord is damaged it must be replaced by qualified / authorized personnel.
•!Do not use the machine with a damaged cord or plug.
•!If you must, use only single or multiple adapters and extension cables comply with safety regulations, making sure that the limit
energy consumption corresponds to that indicated on the nameplate data on the bottom of the machine.
•!To avoid serious injury, never place the machine on or near hot surfaces such as radiators, stoves, ovens, gas stoves, fire or the like.
•!Place the machine on a orizzonatale surface, uniform and stable
•!The surface must be resistant to heat and liquids such as water or coffee, water softeners or similar products.

1- SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
HOW TO AVOID POTENTIAL DAMAGE WHEN USING THE MACHINE
•!Do not leave the machine unattended during operation.
•!Do not use the machine if it has any damage or does not work properly.
•!Unplug it immediately from the power supply.
•!Contact the Customer Service Department for examination, repair, or record.
•!A damaged machine can cause electric shock, burns and fires.
•!Always lower the lever and not raise it during operation to avoid burns.
•!Do not place your fingers under the coffee dispensing spout, could burn yourself.
•!Do not put your fingers in the magazine or in the tube of the capsule, could result in injury.
•!The water could flow around the caspula if this is not perforated by the needles and could damage the machine, never use a
damaged or deformed capsule.
•!If a capsule gets stuck in the compartment capsules, turn it off and unplug it from the mains before carrying out any operation.
Contact the Customer Service Department.
•!Always fill the tank with cold drinking water.
•!Empty the water storage tank when not using the machine for a long period of time, eg holidays.
•!Change the water of the tank if the machine was not used for at least three days.
•!Do not use the machine without the trays and grids.
•!Do not use aggressive cleaning products nor solvents.
•!Use a damp cloth and a cleaning product suited to the machine surfaces.
•!The packaging materials (plastic bags, polystyrene) must not be left within reach of children, as they are potential sources of danger.
•!Keep these instructions.

2 – PREPARE THE MACHINE FOR USE
Before using the machine for the first time or after a long period of disuse, it is recommended to clean the water circuit.
(A) Fill the water tank. Plug it in and turn on the machine.
(B) Place a large cup and press the LONG button to dispense water.
(C) Repeat this operation 3 times.
(D) PRE-HEATING:The Pre-heating is recommended when the machine is turned on for the first time, every day.
The Pre-heating of the machine allows to keep hot the dispensing chamber from the first coffee guaranteeing an optimal temperature.
The machine cleans automatically each brewing.
3 – FOR A CORRECT BREWING
Water quality is important to have a good coffee, tea or herbal tea.
It is recommended that:
•!Change the water in the tank frequently.
•!Clean the tank frequently.
4 – DAILY MAINTENANCE
•!Empty and wash the container used capsules regularly.
•!Brew a cup of water before dispensing the first coffee.
•!This will allow you to clean the internal tubes and heating components.

6 – CLEANING A CIRCUIT
•!Open the tank lid (12) and fill the tank with water.
•!Do not use the machine with a vacuum tank (10).
•!Connect the machine to the power outlet.
•!Place the switch (6 in the ON position.)
•!Close the lever (1).
•!Place a large cup.
•!Delivering the equivalent of the cup to clean the circuit.
If the machine is not used for a long time.
We should always make this cleaning cycle before brew coffee.

7 – MAKE A COFFEE
When the cleaning cycle is completed, pull the lever (1).
Insert the capsule (2) in the position (3).
Close the lever (1).
PLACE THE GRILL IN THE POSITION
Low position: LUNGO Large cup
Highest position: ESPRESSO cup

8 – FOR TYPE &'(%)**+%TOUCH SCREEN
The START button (13) turns RED indicating that the machine is on.
Put your finger on START (13) button it changes color to GREEN.
The machine is warming up.
When the 5 LED (14) are fixed and green the machine is ready to brew.
Press the button 15 for ESPRESSO (40 ml) or 16 for LUNGO (110 ml).
The machine stops automatically.
If you want to stop brewing press the selected button again.

The two buttons 15 and 16 light up and flash.
Wait until The buttons 15 and16 becoming a steady light.
The machine is ready to brew.
Press the button 15 for ESPRESSO (40 ml) or16 for LUNGO (110 ml).
The machine stops automatically.
If you want to stop brewing press the selected button again. 1615

The button 16 will illumine and flashes.
Wait for the button to become staidy light.
The machine is ready to brew.
Press the button to brew.
To stop brewing, press the 16 button again.

12 – HOW TO CHANGE THE BREWING VOLUME
For the Type UIC 8001 Touch Screen and UICI 8001 Push Plus you can program the brewing volume For ESPRESSO and LUNGO buttons.
11 – FOR THE SUBSEQUENT BREWING
When you open the lever (1), the machine will automatically eject the capsule. Insert a new capsule and brew the next
coffee.!
Important: When you use different fragrances, you should run a wash cycle between one brew and the other in order
to clean the pipes from the previous fragrance.
Important: The machine is equipped with an extinguishing system to save energy (Stand By). If the LED
inserted into the key (16) blinks slowly, it means the machine is in position Stand By.The machine enters the
Stand By position after 15 minutes of not being used. To reactivate the machine, press the button (16) The
LED contained in thebutton (16) flashes quickly and the machine is reactivated. When the LED contained in
the button (16) of light becomes fixed Yo u can brew again.

To MODIFY / REPROGRAM brewing volume proceed as follows:
Press and hold the button that you want to make the brew until the machine starts brewing.
When the machine starts brewing the button flashes.
Release the button.
When the cup has been reached the desired quantity, press the button again, the machine stops and memorizes the new
quantity for the subsequent brew.
Important: The machine is equipped with an extinguishing system to save energy (Stand By). If the LED (17) blinks, the
machine is in position Stand By.The machine enters the Stand By position after 15 minutes of not being used. To reactivate

The container of the used capsule (8) can be removed; empty it when it is full.
Pull out the tray unit (18).
Empty and wash the tray (8) every day.
Empty and wash the tray (7).
We recommend you to always check the pans used capsule (8) and (7).

For Types UIC 8001Touch Screen and UIC 8001 Push Plus you can adjust the brew temperature, making it suitable to
your personal needs.
The machine allows you to change the setting of the dispensing temperature providing the user on 5 different levels.

Place two fingers in the SAME TIME on EXPRESSO button (15) and
on LUNGO botton (16) for 15 seconds.
When the LEDs 1, 2 and 3 of the block (14) turns red remove the
fingers.!
TO INCREASE
Press the LUNGO button once to + 4 ° C. twice to + 8 ° C.
The LEDs 4 and 5 of block (14) light.
Having done so, wait until the control panel LEDs become GREEN.
The machine at this point has stored the new temperature and is
ready to deliver.
PER DECREASE
Press the ESPRESSO button once to - 4 ° C. twice to - 8 ° C.

19 – FOR TYPE &'(%)**+%PUSH
For the type UIC 8001 PUSH this temperature control function is not available.

The machine descaling frequency varies depending on the degree of hardness of the water used.
It is in any case better to descale the machine at least once every 6-8 months to keep the machine in good condition.
Check that there is no capsule inserted into the machine by opening the lever (1) and pulling out each capsule previously
inserted. Close the lever (1) without the addition of a new capsule.
Empty the water tank (2) and insert a dose of liquid descaling specifically for use in coffee machines (make sure it is food
grade).
Place a large cup on the cup tray (6) and turn on the machine.
When the machine is ready, brew 2-3 cups of water consecutively.
To remove any remaining descaling solution after the descaling cycle, remove the water tank (2) and wash it with clean
water.
Fill the tank (2) and run a wash cycle with clean water.
This will clean all the internal circuits from residues of descaling solution.

20 – HOW TO RESTORE FACTORY CONFIGURATION
If you wish to reset all functions to the factory calibration hold down the START button (13) for type UIC 8001 TOUCH
SCREEN or push simultaneously buttons (15 and 16) for type UIC model 8001 PUSH PLUS, until all the panel LEDs
flashing. Let then release the buttons.
The machine is reset to factory calibration.
ESPRESSO (40ml) LUNGO (110ml) TEMPERATURE 114 ° C.
This feature is not available for the type UIC 8001 PUSH.

22 – DISPOSAL OF THE PRODUCT
•!This product is compliant with Directive 2002/96 / EC and 2003/108 / EC.
•!The machine and its packing contain recyclable materials.
•!The machine contains materials which can be recovered or recycled.
•!The separation of the residual materials of different types facilitates the recycling of raw materials.
•!Dispose of the machine in a collection point, can get yourself the information from the local authorities.
•!The symbol of the crossed-out bin indicated on the label indicates that the product must be disposed of with
household waste, it must be brought to a collection point for electronic waste or otherwise follow the disposal
regulations of the local waste management authorities or directions.
•!Yo u are responsible for the delivery of the machine to a collection point; never leave it in inappropriate places.
•!Before disposing of the machine, make it unusable by cutting the power cord.
•!For more detailed information about the collection systems available, contact your local waste disposal service.

24 – WARRANTY
UC Europe warrants this product against all defects in material or manufacture for a period of two years from the date of
purchase. UC Europe during this period will repair or replace, according to its criteria, any defective product with no load
for the owner. Replacement products or repaired parts have a warranty that will cover the remaining term of the original
warranty or six months, the longest period of the two. This limited warranty does not apply to defects resulting from an
accident, incorrect use, faulty maintenance or normal wear and tear. Except to the extent provided in the applicable
legislation, the terms of this limited warranty does not exclude, reduce, do not alter the mandatory legal rights related to
the purchase of the product, and are complementary, if he believes that his product is defective you put in contact with

The warranty does not cover defects in relation to:
