User Manual
This manual includes product specifications and instructions for Wi-Fi phone operation. This manual must be read before operating the product.
A Wi-Fi phone access point is required to use this product. Usage of the Wi-Fi access point provided in the full package is recommended.

Safety Precautions
Do not put the WPU-7700 in or on heating appliances such as heaters and microwave ovens to dry it if the device is wet.
This may cause explosions, deformation or other problems. If this occurs, free repair services will not be provided.
Do not use the WPU-7700 in places that are too hot or too wet (keep it indoors between 0ºand +50ºC).
If the device becomes wet from rain, or through spilled beverages, or is used in extremely hot/wet places such as public saunas, such conditions
may cause battery explosions.
Be careful that metal conductors such as necklaces, keys, and coins do not come into contact with battery terminals (the metal section).
Since short circuits may cause explosions, be careful to prevent this.
Keep the WPU-7700 and chargers out of the reach of children or pets.
Placing batteries in the mouth, or using broken batteries, may cause injury or electrical shock.
Be sure to use only the designated batteries and accessories provided by our company for the WPU-7700.
If you use unauthorized batteries or accessories, it may reduce the life of the WPU-7700, cause explosions or damage. If this occurs, free servicing is
not applicable.
Correctly install the WPU-7700 in compliance with the instructions.
Otherwise, abnormal operation of the WPU-7700, or a reduction in its life span may occur.
Use standard chargers that obtained Unidata authentication for batteries.
Otherwise, batteries will have their life reduced, face explosions or damage WPU-7700. In this case, free repair services will not be provided.
Never push the power button when the WPU-7700 is wet, and do not touch the WPU-7700, the charger or power cords with
wet hands. This may cause fires or electric shocks. The WPU-7700 is not water-resistant. Keep it dry
Do not use chemical detergents such as benzene, thinners and alcohol to clean the WPU-7700.
This may cause fires.

Safety Precautions
Do not hold the WPU-7700 close to your ears when turning on the power. This may cause hearing impairments or physical injuries.
Do not look at the infrared window in a direct way when using the remote control, as doing so may cause visual impairment.
Refrain from using the WPU-7700, and leave the power cord for the charger unplugged when it is thundering and lightning.
Lightning bolts may cause severe physical injuries or fires.
Do not disassemble the WPU-7700 temporarily or apply shocks to the device.
If the device is damaged when you disassemble it, or inflict shocks on the device, it may cause electrical shocks, electric leakage or fires.
Take precautions to avoid radio interference.
Since this radio equipment can have radio interference, services related to life safety are not provided.
Do not install the WPU-7700 in dusty areas.
Doing so may cause operational problems, or reduce phone life.
Install the WPU-7700 on flat places, not on shelves or slopes.
Otherwise, injury may result, or damage may occur if it falls.
Do not cover the WPU-7700 with plastic wrap or vinyl. The protective coating may be damaged.
Record and keep the information contained in the WPU-7700 separately.
Since important information stored in the WPU-7700 may be removed due to unavoidable circumstances such as user carelessness,
maintenance and product upgrades, please keep a record of this important information. Take note that the manufacturer will not take
responsibility for any damage from the loss of information.

Battery Replacement
Only use batteries authorized by the company when you replace batteries, following the diagram below.

If the battery is inserted upside down, the WPU-7700 phone will not work. Please turn off the power before removing the battery from the WPU-7700
phone. (a sudden power shutdown can cause problems)

Battery Charging Signal
If the battery needs to be charged, it displays , and the beep is sounding. If the beep is sounding, begin charging
immediately.

If you want to turn on the power,
keep pressing for 3 seconds or more. If you want to turn off the power, keep pressing for
3 seconds or more.
If anything abnormal occurs, or if the power button does not work while using a Wi-Fi phone, start the phone after removing and
inserting the battery. Turn on the power after waiting for 5 seconds or more when you restart the phone.

Key in the phone number
To delete the number or digit, press the <CLR> button
In standby, enter the numeric keys and then press key
※Call quality may become reduced with increased distance
away from the access point.
Making a call
Prior to making or receiving calls, the phone must be connected to a wirelessAccess Point
(AP) and registered with a service network.
If you have a missed call, press and the last
one of those calls will be answered.
To see calls that have arrived in your absence from the
call list, press in stand-by mode

Mute
To mute, select Left Selection Key Menu > Mute On
Calling functions
Write a memo on calling
To note something (numbers ONLY) , press the number
key buttons during a call and select button then
you can find the notes in the call list.
There are two ways to view the call history:
1.Select for shortcut in standby mode.
2.Select Left Selection key (Menu) > Call history;
The list of incoming and outgoing calls can be stored up to 100 listed in the Call
History.

Calling functions
Add a Phone Number on calling
To add a phone number on calling , select Left
Selection key (Menu) > Save number
To find a saved number in the phone book, use the Left
Selection key (Menu) > Contacts > Search
Volume Control
To adjust receiver volume on calling, select direction
key up and down.
To go to the precious screen after adjustment press
or wait for 3 seconds.

To Search for a phone number, select the Left selection key
( Menu > Contacts > Search )
Search all: To search by a part (more than 1 character) of a
name, phone number or e-mail address,
Select Left selection key > All
Then you can enter letters or digits, after entering the letters or
digits, all names starting with these letters/digits will be
displayed.
To search the number again, press
Search by group: To select a group to search in (unspecified,
standard groups, custom groups),
Select Left selection key > By group
Press the key to view and edit the saved details.
Press the key to call a found number.
You can search for phone numbers just by pressing <Search>

To add Phone Numbers, select Left Selection key ( Menu > Contacts > New contacts )
Add a new phone number and other details.
Name Save a name. (Up to 16 alphabet characters)
Group Assign a group.
Use the direction key to assign the group.

Up to 80 alphabet characters can be saved.
Up to 500 phone numbers can be saved.
※Each type of phone number can be selected. If more
than 2 phone numbers are to be saved, one phone
number must be selected as the main phone number.

You can add a new number in standby mode.
Dial a phone number and press the Right Selection Key <SAVE> during stand-by to save phone numbers.

3. To set speed dial, select the left selection key ( Menu > Contacts > Speed dial )
Set speed dial numbers for phone numbers saved in the phone book that are frequently called (up to 99 speed dial numbers can be saved).
1. Select a speed dial number and press <SET>.
2. Search for a phone number in the phone book.
3. Select a phone number and press <SELECT>
to complete the setting.
View Speed Dial Number List: Displays a list of
saved speed dial numbers.
ClearAll: Clears all saved speed dial numbers.
※Select a speed dial number and press to
make a call.

< Move>: Moves a phone number to a different speed dial number.
<Clear>: Clears an assigned speed dial number.

Group Settings ( Menu > Contacts > Group Settings )+ Edit
a group to assign a phone number or add a new group.
Select a group to edit and change the group name
and ring tone.
Up to 30 groups can be set.
Group name: Enter a group name (24 alphabet characters)
Group ring tone:Assign a ring tone to a group.
※Incoming calls from a phone number assigned to a group will sound
the selected ring tone. However, the group ring tone will be ignored if
another ring tone is assigned in the phone book.
