Notethatbrowsingthewebfrequently,extendeddatausage,beinginapoorsignalarea,or
subjectingthedevicetoextremetemperatureswillcausethebatterytodischargequickerthan
normal.Toincreasebatterylife,limityourdatausage,orturnoffGPSandBluetoothwhennot
required.
Installingthebattery
PleaseuseonlytheoriginalbatteriesandaccessoriesyoureceivedwithyourphoneorUltimateMobile
recommendedreplacements.

1.Removethebatterycoverfromtheunit.
2.Alignthebattery’sexposedgoldcontactswiththebatteryconnectorsinsidethebattery
compartment.
3.Insertthecontactsideoftheplace(Step1).
4.Gentlypushthebatteryintothebatterycompartmentandpressdownuntilyouhearaclick
(Step2).Replacethebatterydoor

Removingthebattery
1.Makesurethatyourdeviceisturnedoff.Toremovethebatterycoverfromyourphone,try
openingthebackcoverusingyourfingeratthesmallopeningonthebottomofthephone.
2.Pushthebottomofthebatteryupwardsandremovethebattery.
Chargingyourbattery
Beforeyouturnonyourdeviceandstartusingit,itisrecommendedthatyouchargethebattery.
1.PlugtheUSBcableintotheUSBpoweradapter.
2.Plugthepoweradapterintoastandardoutlet.
3.LocatetheUSBportlocatedontheleftsideofyourdevice.
4.PlugtheotherendoftheUSBcableintothephone’smicroUSBport.

direction,suchasflickingthroughthecontactsorthemessagelists.
RotateFormostscreens,youcanautomaticallychangethescreenorientationfrom
portraittolandscapebyturningthephonesideways.Whenenteringtext,you
canturnthephonesidewaystobringupabiggeron‐screenkeyboard.
UsingtheOnscreenKeyboard
Youcanentertextusingtheonscreenkeyboard.Someapplicationsopenthekeyboard
automatically.Inothers,tapanywhereinatextfieldtoopenthekeyboard.

•Say“comma,”“period,”“questionmark”or“exclamationpoint”toenterpunctuation.
•Whenyoupause,whatyouspokeistranscribedbythespeech‐recognitionservice,enteredin
thetextfieldandunderlined.Youcantaptoerasetheunderlinedtext.Ifyoustarttypingor
enteringmoretextbyspeaking,theunderlinedisappears.
•Youcanedittheonscreentextbytypingorspeaking.
Adding,EditingorDeletingWordsintheUserDictionary
Sometimesyoumayneedtoaddawordtothepredictivetextdictionary,forexample,anameora
specializedtechnicalword.IfyouwanttoaddawordtoyourUserdictionarywhileenteringtext,
doubletapthewordtohighlightit,thentapandholdthewordandselectAdd**todictionary.
