General purpose submersible water pump for use in domestic situations for water transfer applications.
ese are not for continuous use or recirculation purposes. Not for use with chemical or ammable liquids.

SAFETY WARNING FOR PUMPS
WARNING! Do not use in swimming pools or spas when there are people or
animals in the water.
WARNING! is product is intended for pumping water in a home domestic
application. Do not use it for corrosive, abrasive, explosive or dangerous liquids. Fluids other than
water will damage the water pump and/or create a re hazard.
WARNING! Unplug the pump from the mains supply when placing or removing
the pump from the water.
CAUTION! Do not run the pump without water or allow the pump to run dry. is
will damage the pump’s seal and void the warranty
CAUTION! Do not exceed the maximum immersion depth for the pump. Water may
leak into the motor and cause it to fail and void the warranty.
CAUTION! is pump is not suitable for drinking water. Some lubricants and other
materials used in the pump may leach into the water.
CAUTION! Do not place the pump in mud or sludge. ey can block the inlet and cause
the pump to overheat. If necessary place the pump on a couple of house bricks or suspend the pump
above the sludge
WARNING! Always use an electrical outlet that is protected by Residual Current
Device RCD (Safety switch) with a trip current of 30mA or less.
is appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
WARNING! DO NOT ABUSE THE MAINS LEAD
• Never carry the pump by the mains lead.
• Never pull the mains lead to disconnect the pump from the mains socket.
• Keep the mains lead away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
• Before every use check the plug, mains cable and oat switch cable for damage before use. Do not
use the pump if damaged. Refer to qualied service personnel for repair.
• If you have to use an extension lead with this product, it must be designed for outdoor use.
• Do not lower the pump using the mains lead, Always use the handle with a rope or cord attached if
necessary

PREPARATION
WARNING! Check that the pump is unpluged from the mains supply before
tting the elbow and multi hose adaptor.

1 Fit the elbow adaptor to the pump outlet as shown. Make sure the “O” ring is
fully engaged.
2 Screw the multi hose adaptor onto the elbow.

e multi hose adaptor is capable of accepting 1” and
1¼” hoses and a 1” BSB read.
Simply cut the multi hose connector to the required size and attach a suitable hose
using a worm drive clip.
• For maximum eciency, we strongly recommend that you connect a 1¼” diameter hose to the multi hose
adapter,
• Alternatively, you may remove the multi adapter altogether, and screw on a 1¼” BSP hose adapter

TYPICAL USAGE
USING THE PUMP
WARNING! CHECK THE PUMP AND POWER CORD FOR DAMAGE BEFORE
USE, DO NOT USE THE PUMP IF IT IS DAMAGED IN ANY WAY
Place the pump on a at surface in the area that you want to drain.
• If there is sediment in the operating area, the pump should be placed on house bricks or suspended by rope.
• Ensure the pump is positioned with adequate space so that the movement of the oat switch is not
restricted - recommended minimum area of 40 x 40cm
• ALWAYS raise and lower the pump using a rope attached to the liing handle.
• Take all necessary precautions as described in the safety section before plugging in and switching ON.
WARNING! NEVER CARRY THE PUMP USING THE MAINS POWER CABLE.
DAMAGE TO ELECTRICAL CABLES CAN BE HAZARDOUS . ALWAYS USE THE HANDLE
WHEN MOVING THE PUMP.

1 Switch the mains power supply on,
• e pump incorporates a oat switch, which automatically switches the pump ON when the water is above
a pre-determined level.
2 e pump will begin to drain water.
• As the water level falls, so will the oat switch, until it stops the pump.
3 When the pumping is nished, disconnect the pump from the mains power supply
• e pump is tted with a thermal cut out to protect the motor from overheating. If the thermal cut out
activates, the motor will automatically switch back on when it has cooled down suciently.
WARNING! Always use an electrical outlet that is protected by Residual Current
Device RCD (Safety switch) with a trip current of 30mA or less.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Check that the pump is unplugged from the mains supply before
preforming any cleaning or maintenance on the pump.
• ese pumps should require no maintenance other than regular cleaning.
• Do not attempt to repair the pump yourself, repairs must be carried out by an authorised service centre.
• Check the pump regularly to ensure the base is clear of leaves or other debris.
• Backwash the pump with clean tap water aer every use! Any contaminates in the water that is le in the
pump aer use can cause corrosion of the motor sha and damage the pump’s seal. With the pump turned
OFF Backwash the pump by running clean tap water into the water outlet of the pump for 1 minute. Wipe
the pump down and allow to dry.
Failure to backwash the pump voids the warranty.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
1 Pump will not start.
• Water level too low - oat switch in OFF position.
• Float switch may be jammed against side wall, or prevented from moving.
2 Pump will start but not pump.
• Check that the base is not blocked.
• Discharge tube clogged or obstructed. e head may be too great, i.e. you are trying to li the water too
great a distance for the pump to cope.
3 Pump will not stop.
• Float switch may be prevented from moving to the fully down position.
• Float switch may be faulty.
4 Pump stops running.
• ermal overload has operated. If this condition persists, investigate the cause.
• Pump has run dry, or oat switch has cut in.
• A foreign object has jammed the impeller

WARRANTY

entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foresee-
able loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of
acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

is warranty will not apply:
(i) where this product has been subjected to misuse, abuse, accident or want of care;
(ii) where this product has been used for a purpose for which it was not designed or is not suited;
(iii) where the service of this product has been undertaken by a non-authorised person or company or if
non approved parts have been used;
(iv) where this product has been used for industrial purposes.
Should service become necessary during the warranty period, the purchaser should contact an Authorised
Service centre of White International. In order to obtain warranty service, the purchaser must present the
store receipt showing the name of the retailer and the date of purchase.
e period of the warranty begins from the original date of purchase, notwithstanding any subsequent repair
or parts replacement.
Purchaser shall be responsible for all transport charges to and from the Authorised Service Centre.
Damage in transit is not covered by this warranty.
e purchaser should remove from the product any liquids (if applicable) before sending the tool for service
or repair. e tool should be packed securely to prevent damage.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
Wear parts or service related parts required when performing normal and regular maintenance of this
product are not covered by warranty unless it is found to be defective by an Authorised Service Centre.
ese include, but are not limited to: Power cords and seals.
