
For the Round pot:
Insert the thin white tube into the small foam float.
Connect the large grey tube to the black end-cap.
Thread the thin white tube through the hole in the black
inner basin from underneath.
Whilst holding this in place, insert the large grey tube with
the black cap into the same slot in the black basin. (The
foam float/white tube should now be inside the grey tube.)
Attach the clear indicator panel on top of the black basin.

For the Round and Trough pots:
The red plug is used to stop water draining from the external pot.
When growing indoors we recommend using the red plug to ensure there
are no leaks that could damage your home.
When growing hydroponically, keep the plug closed and fill the basin with
water.
When growing with soil, it is common to leave the plug open so that there’s
no stagnant water that could cause damage to plant roots.

For the Cube and Trough pots:
Insert the thin white tube into the small foam float.
Connect the large grey tube to the transparent cap with
water level markings.
Insert the assembled part from Step 1 into the part from
Step 2 so that the foam piece is at the open end of the
cylinder and the white tube threads through the small
hole in the transparent cap at the other end.
Add black end cap with the small holes to the end of
the grey tube.
Insert completed apparatus into the Self Watering Pot
with the black end at the bottom, and the transparent
cylinder at the top.

WATER LEVEL INDICATOR GROWING IN YOUR POT WITH PERLITE,

Place your Self Watering Pot in an appropriate place
(Under a BreezyGro light, or in natural sunlight).

Place the black inner basin inside the outer pot & insert the
water level indicator as instructed on the left-hand page.
Fill your Self Watering Pot with your chosen growing medium.
Follow instructions below depending on your desired growth method:

Add seeds & bury them as per seed specifications.
Add water until the water level indicator is 1cm from its
maximum position. Make sure to wet all the seeds to
activate them.
Once seeds have sprouted, start adding nutrients directly
into the water (as per their instructions) each time the
water level gets low. Don't overfill water.
Sowing seeds: (only for Smart Soil)

Propagation:
Place your plant cutting in the Smart Soil, Expanded Clay or
Perlite so that its stem is partially submerged in growing
medium. Make sure to keep all leaves out of the growing
medium.
When roots are about 3-5cm long, dissolve nutrients in water
as per their instructions and add the solution to the pot until
the water level indicator is 1cm from its maximum position.

Soak the roots of a soil-based plant in water to soften the
soil.
Gently remove the soil, and place your plant roots within
the Smart Soil, Expanded Clay balls or Perlite.
Dissolve nutrients in water as per their instructions and
add the solution to the pot until the water level indicator is
1cm from its maximum position.
