USER GUIDE
Welcome to UrbanHello
We are proud that you chose the Home Phone. The Home Phone is a cordless phone designed to be paired as additio-
nal handset to any already installed DECT-GAP phone. Its universal pairing system makes it compatible with all brands
in Europe. However, if you need a landline base with your Home Phone, we will provide you this base for free on our
website, with the unique voucher provided in the Quick Start Guide of your Home Phone.
The Home Phone is a really simple handset. It will change your calls at home into real time of pleasure with the ones
you love. Just put the phone on a table and it will switch by itself in a 360° hands-free mode.
We hope you will enjoy the best of what we have designed for you. Please follow the indicated steps to install properly
your new Home Phone.

Phonebook
Pairing with PIN code
Your phonebook can record up to 200 contacts (name and number) that you often call.
To add a contact into the phonebook
- Enter the phonebook by pressing
- Select the last line of the phonebook by possibly using :
- Press OK : 2 lines get displayed for the name and the number of the contact
- Switch from one line to the other using the arrows and
- Fill the name and the number of the contact :
- Use the key to delete a character or a digit
- On the line for the number, a long press (2 seconds) on the # key inserts a dialing pause
- Validate with or cancel with a long press (2 seconds) on
To call from the phonebook
- Enter the phonebook by pressing
- Select the contact to call with the arrows and :
- Press on the Home Phone front button or on the button
To modify a contact in the phonebook
- Enter the phonebook by pressing
- Select the contact to modify with the arrows and :
- Display the details with a long press (2 seconds) on
- Modify the contact with the digits and characters on the keypad,
and switch from one line to the other using the arrows and :
- Use the key to delete a character or a digit
- On the line for the number, a long press (2 seconds) on the # key inserts a dialing pause
- Validate with or cancel with a long press (2 seconds) on
To delete a contact from the phonebook
- Enter the phonebook by pressing
- Select the contact to delete with the arrows and :
- Have a long press (2 seconds) on the key to have a trash appear on the right of the screen
- Confirm the removal by pressing
- Cancel the removal by pressing
By default, the PIN code of your base is 0000. The Home Phone automatically uses this code for the pairing process.
If you or a member of your family changed this PIN code, the Home Phone will require you to type the 4 digits PIN code
of your base to finish the pairing process.
If you don’t know your PIN code, you can refer to the manual of your already installed cordless phone.

Use of the call list
The call list contains the 20 last received, emitted and missed calls, numbered from 1 to 20,
from the most recent to the oldest.
To call from the call list
- Enter the call list by pressing
- Select the number or name to call with the arrows and :
- Press on the Home Phone front button or on the OK button
To delete a call from the call list
- Enter the call list by pressing
- Select the name or number to delete with the arrows and :
- Have a long press (2 seconds) on the key to have a trash appear on the right of the screen
- Confirm the removal by pressing
- Cancel the removal by pressing
Internal calls
To call a handset paired on the same base as your Home Phone, dial the number of the handset to call, and press on
the Home Phone front button or on OK :
The handset number, between 1 and 6, is commonly displayed on the standby screen of each handset.
This handset number display might be a proprietary capability of your cordless phone, and thus not displayed on the
Home Phone. You can still find it counting the number of handsets already paired on your corless phone : if you already
had 2 handsets, the Home Phone will catch number 3. If you already had 3 paired handset, your Home Phone will catch
number 4, etc...
Volume management
Using the volume keys, you can tune in standby the ringtone volume, and in call the earphone volume (in earphone
mode) and the speakerphone volume (in speakerphone mode). The audio feedback indicates the tuned volume.
Ringtone volume adjustment
When the Home Phone is in standby, use the + and – keys to respectively higher or lower the volume level of the ring-
tone. The audio feedback indicates the tuned volume level.
Ringing stop
During an incoming call, press the - key to stop the ringing of the Home Phone.
A red dot on the key refers to this function.
Earphone volume adjustment
During a call, in earphone mode, press the keys + and – keys to respectively higher or lower the earphone volume.
Speakerphone volume adjustment
During a call, in speakerphone mode, press the keys + and – keys to respectively higher or lower the speakerphone
volume.
Call management
If an external call occurs when an internal call is already going on, a sound signal will indicate this call. To pick this call
up, hang-up the current internal call using the front button, and pick-up the external incoming call using this same
button.

Batteries replacement
Your Home Phone contains 2 AA NiMH rechargeable batteries that you can find in any daily shopping store.
If you notice that your Home Phone gets discharged faster after a few years of use, it is time to change its batteries.
To operate, you will need the small suction cup linked to the USB cord of your Home Phone charger, and a cruciform
screwdriver.
IMPORTANT : Respect the type of used batteries. Do not replace rechargeable NiMH batteries with alkaline classical
non rechargeable batteries. You would expose yourself to risk of overheat or destruction of the Home Phone.
#1 Remove the top smoked lens
#2 Unscrew the 2 screws that fix the screen
#3 Replace the 2 batteries. Take care about the polarity : the + toward the top of the handset.

Care
Your telephone is a sophisticated product in terms of design and construction, and should therefore be handled with
care.
To clean the telephone, wipe first with an antistatic cloth or a damp, soft leather cloth and then dry using a dry cloth.
Recycling (environmental protection)
At the end of the product’s life cycle, the telephone must not be disposed of in normal domestic waste.
Please take it to a collection point for processing electrical and electronic equipment.
Some materials used in this product can be recycled if you take it to a recycling depot. By recycling parts or raw mate-
rials from used products you will be making an important contribution to environmental protection.
Please contact your local authority if you require information about collection points in your neighborhood.
Disposing of the rechargeable battery
Your Home Phone contains 2 AA NiMH batteries.

IMPORTANT : In case of replacement, respect the type of used batteries. Do not replace rechargeable NiMH batteries
with alkaline classical non rechargeable batteries. You would expose yourself to risk of overheat or destruction of the
Home Phone.
By law, all used batteries and accumulators must be recycled and not disposed of in domestic waste. Please dispose of
them according to the official regulations. Take them to a recycling depot.The batteries/accumulators will be recycled
since they may, for example, contain lithium (Li), nickel cadmium (Ni - Cd), lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd) or mercury (Hg).
The batteries and accumulators are labelled with symbols and information on their contents, e.g.:
Warranty conditions
Your telephone is subject to a contractual guarantee of 1 year from the date of purchase, and to a legal guarantee in
accordance with the legal provisions of the country in which the telephone was purchased.
As evidence of the date of purchase, please keep the receipt or the warranty card completed by the retailer. All defects
attributable to material and manufacturing faults will be corrected free of charge within the warranty period, either by
repairing or replacing the defective equipment.
The warranty does not cover expendable materials (battery cells), defects which affect the value or use of the equip-
ment only insignificantly, and damage caused by incorrect use, ordinary wear and tear, or manipulation by third parties.
This warranty does not cover consequential damage caused by the use, failure or defectiveness of the product.
In particular, no liability whatsoever is accepted for damage to property and pecuniary loss.
