Estimado usuario, antes de usar este aparato por primera
vez, lea las instrucciones de seguridad y uso. Guarde
este manual para consultas futuras. Saque el aparato de
la caja y guarde todo el material de embalaje.

• Lea atentamente este manual antes de usar la parrilla
por primera vez.
• Guarde el manual para consultas futuras.
• Conrme que el voltaje de la red eléctrica domiciliaria
corresponda al voltaje indicado en el aparato.
• La parrilla ha sido diseñada exclusivamente para uso
doméstico; úsela de acuerdo con las instrucciones
indicadas.
• No use la parrilla cerca de baños, duchas, lavaderos u
otros depósitos que contengan agua.
• No use la parrilla cerca de rociadores de agua.
• No use la parrilla con las manos mojadas o húmedas.
• Si la parrilla se moja, desenchúfela inmediatamente.
• La parrilla se ajusta a los actuales estándares para este
tipo de producto.
• Entregue estas instrucciones a potenciales usuarios.
• La parrilla no es un juguete; evite que los niños o
personas discapacitadas jueguen con ella.
• Mantenga la parrilla supervisada cuando esté en uso.
• Los niños y las personas discapacitadas no están
conscientes de los peligros asociados al uso de
electrodomésticos. Mantenga el aparato fuera del
alcance de ellos o preste especial cuidado cuando
estén presentes y el aparato en uso. Este aparato no
ha sido diseñado para ser usado por personas (incluidos
niños) con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales
reducidas o por personas que no cuenten con la
experiencia ni los conocimientos necesarios acerca del
uso del aparato, a menos que sean supervisadas por una
persona responsable de su seguridad o hayan recibido
las instrucciones de uso necesarias.
• Para proteger a los niños, evite que el material de
embalaje (bolsas plásticas, cajas de cartón o poliestireno)
quede a su alcance y no los deje jugar con el lm plástico

• Revise frecuentemente el cordón eléctrico para
determinar si está dañado.
• No sumerja el aparato en agua ni en ningún otro tipo
de liquido.
• No introduzca el aparato en un lavavajillas.
• No instale el aparato cerca de supercies calientes.
• No use electrodomésticos con cables o enchufes
dañados o con cualquier tipo de falla de funcionamiento
o daño.
• Si el cable eléctrico está dañado, éste debe ser
reemplazado por el fabricante, por un centro de servicio
técnico o por una persona debidamente calicada (*)
para evitar posibles daños.
• Siempre desenchufe el aparato antes de limpiarlo.
• Siempre instale el aparato en un lugar seco.
• Sólo use los accesorios recomendados por el
fabricante; otro tipos de accesorios pueden representar
un riesgo para el usuario y podrían dañar el aparato.
• No mueva el aparato tirándolo del cable eléctrico.
• Revise que no haya riesgo de que el cable eléctrico
quede atascado.
• No enrolle el cable eléctrico alrededor del aparato y no
lo doble.
• Conrme que el aparato se haya enfriado
completamente antes de guardarlo.
• Evite que el cable eléctrico esté en contacto con las
piezas del aparato que se calientan.
• No toque las piezas calientes del aparato para evitar
accidentes causados por quemaduras.
• Asegúrese de que las piezas calientes del aparato no
estén en contacto con materiales inamables (p.ej.,
cortinas, telas, etc.) mientras se encuentra en uso ya que
se podría producir un incendio.
• Tenga cuidado de no cubrir el aparato ni colocar nada
sobre él.
• Sólo use el enchufe incluido.
• El aparato no funciona al conectar un timer o un control
remoto separado.
Evite rallar la capa protectora de la placa de cocción
ya que pequeños fragmentos podrían desprenderse y
mezclarse con los alimentos y la supercie dañarse de
manera irreparable. Use espátulas o cucharas de madera
tradicionales o utensilios de plástico resistentes al calor.

La parrilla cuenta con una capa antiadherente de alta
calidad. Antes de usar la parrilla por primera vez, engrase
la placa con un poco de aceite (sólo se requiere aplicar
una cantidad pequeña en los usos siguientes).
ATENCION: Si la parrilla se sobrecalienta, se activará
un termostato de seguridad que la desconectará
automáticamente (y la luz indicadora).
En este caso:
o Desenchufe el cable eléctrico del tomacorriente.
o Espere 10 a 20 segundos antes de volver a enchufar el
cable eléctrico.
Antes de usar la parrilla por primera vez
• Limpie la parrilla y los accesorios. Se recomienda
calentar la parrilla unos 10 minutos sin alimentos para
eliminar los residuos de grasas de fabricación y olores.
• Asegúrese de que la habitación donde se está usando
la parrilla cuente con buena ventilación.
Instrucciones de uso
• Desenrolle completamente el cable eléctrico.
• Verique que el voltaje de la red domiciliaria
corresponda al voltaje indicado en el aparato.
• Enchufe la parrilla a un tomacorriente que esté en
buenas condiciones y que cuente con conexión a tierra
para evitar peligros.
• Desenchufe el cable eléctrico después de usar la
parrilla y antes de limpiarla o instalar los accesorios.
• Conecte el enchufe del Selector de Temperatura a la
parrilla; revise que el botón del Selector de Temperatura
se encuentre en la posición mínima.
• Seleccione la temperatura de cocción con la ayuda del
botón del Selector de Temperatura. La luz indicadora
se encenderá para mostrar que la parrilla se está
calentando.
• Precaliente la parrilla para alcanzar la temperatura de
cocción deseada. Una vez alcanzada la temperatura, se
apagará el indicador.
• Coloque los alimentos sobre la parrilla.
• El tiempo de cocción dependerá del tipo de alimentos y
del gusto de cada persona.
• Los alimentos se pueden dejar en la bandeja para
mantener el calor.
Consejos practicos
• Descongele los alimentos antes de colocarlos sobre la
parrilla.
• Para asar carne, gire el selector de temperatura a la
posición máxima y asegúrese de que la parrilla se haya
calentado previamente antes de comenzar a cocinar los
alimentos. Para cocinar la carne de un modo tradicional,
de acuerdo al gusto de cada usuario, seleccione la
temperatura deseada.
• Tenga especial cuidado de no rallar el recubrimiento
que protege las placas ya que perderán su calidad
antiadherente. Use una espátula tradicional de madera
o un utensilio plástico resistente al calor. No use objetos
metálicos alados y/o con punta.
• Si sólo desea utilizar una parte de la supercie de la
parrilla, coloque todos los alimentos al centro.
Instrucciones de limpieza y mantenimiento
• Antes de limpiar la parrilla, gire el selector de
temperatura a la posición mínima y desenchufe el cable
eléctrico del tomacorriente.
• Deje la parrilla enfriar completamente antes de
limpiarla y de sacar el enchufe del termostato. Para
hacerlo, simplemente sostenga rmemente el enchufe
y tírelo.
• No sumerja la parrilla en agua ni en otros líquidos. La
bandeja recolectora de aceite se puede lavar.
• Si ingresa agua a las conexiones eléctricas, déjelas
sacar antes de usarlas nuevamente.
• Limpie las supercies exteriores de la parrilla con un
paño suave y levemente humedecido.
• No use detergentes abrasivos ni esponjas que puedan
rallar la supercie antiadherente.
• La bandeja para alimentos y la bandeja recolectora de
aceite se pueden extraer y colocar en un lavavajillas y
limpiar.

• Check that the voltage of your electricity set-
up corresponds correctly to that indicated on the
device.
• This device is designed exclusively for domestic
use. Use it following the instructions on the notice.
• Never use this device near baths, showers, wash
basins or other vessels containing water.
• Never use this device near water spray.
• Never use this device with wet or damp hands.
• In the unfortunate event of the device getting wet,
unplug it immediately.
• This device conforms to the current standards for
this type of product.
• Advise potential users of these instructions.
• This device is not a toy; do not allow young children
or disabled people to play with it.
• Never leave this device unattended when in use.
• Children and disabled people will not be aware
of the danger associated with the use of domestic
appliances. Keep the device out of their reach or
take extra care in their presence. This device is
not designed to be used by individuals (including
children) with reduced physical, sensorial or mental
capacities or a lack of experience and knowledge,
unless there is an individual in charge of their safety
and/or supervision who is able to give them the
necessary instructions with regard to using the
device.

• Check the power lead from time to time for any
eventual damage.
• Never immerse this device in water or any other
liquid for any reason.
• Never put it in the dishwasher.
• Never set up the device near hot surfaces.
• Do not use any devices with damaged leads or
plugs, or after any kind of malfunction or damage.
• If the power lead is damaged, it should be replaced
by the manufacturer, their after sales service or an
individual with similar qualications (*) in order to
avoid any danger.
• Always unplug the device before cleaning it.
• Always set up the device in a dry environment.
• Never use any accessories which are not
recommended by the manufacturer. These can
constitute a danger for the user and run the risk of
damaging the device.
• Never move the device by pulling on the electric
power lead.
• Ensure that there is no risk of the electric power
lead becoming trapped in any way.
• Do not wind the electric power lead around the
device and do not bend it.
• Ensure that the device has cooled before cleaning
it and putting it away.
• Ensure that the electric power lead is never in
contact with the hot parts of the device.
• Never touch the hot parts to this device to avoid
burning yourself.
• Take care to ensure that the hot parts of the device
never enter into contact with ammable materials
(such as curtains, fabrics, etc.) while in use, as this
could start a re.
• Also take care not to cover the device or place
anything on top of it.
• Only suitable connector can be used with it
• Appliance does not work by connecting a timer or

an independent remote controller.
Take care not to scratch the specic coating on the
cooking plate, as small fragments of this coating
could mix with the food and the surface would be
irreparably damaged. Use a traditional wooden
spatula or a heat resistant plastic model.
The gridlle is equipped with high quality non-stick
coating. Grease the plate with a little oil before the
rst use, but no fat will be required thereafter.
ATTENTION: In the event of the device overheating,
the integrated safety thermostat will be activated
and will automatically switch o the device (and the
indicator light).
In this case:
o Unplug the device
o Wait for 10 to 20 seconds before plugging the
device back in.
It will then be ready for use again.
Before using the device for the rst time
• Clean the grill and the accessories. It is advisable
to heat up the grill for 10 minutes without food to
eliminate any residues of fat and get rid of any smells.
• Ensure that the room is well ventilated during this
operation and during use.
Use
• Unroll the mains lead fully.
• Check that the voltage in the country where you
are using the device corresponds to the voltage
indicated on the device.
• Plug the device into a socket which is in good
condition and earthed to avoid any danger.
• Unplug the electric power lead after use and
before any cleaning or maintenance operations or
assembling any accessories.
• Connect the thermostat plug to the device; check
that the thermostat button is in the minimum
position
• Select the cooking temperature with the help of
the thermostat button. The indicator light will switch
on to indicate that the device is heating up.
• Preheat the grill to reach the ideal cooking
temperature. When the device has reached the
desired temperature, the indicator light will switch
o.
• Then place the food on the grill.
• The cooking time will depend on the type of food
and your personal taste.
• Food can be put into food tray to keep warm.
Practical advice
• Defrost frozen foods before grilling them.
• To grill meat, put the thermostat button in its
maximum position and make sure that the grill has
been fully preheated before cooking. To cook the
meat traditionally, according to your taste, select the
temperature which best suits you.
• Take care not to scratch the special coating
on the cooking plates as they will lose their non-
stick quality. Use a traditional wooden spatula or a
specially designed heat resistant plastic utensil. Do
not use sharp and/or pointed metal objects.
• In the event of partial use of the grill surface, place
all food in the centre of the grill.
Cleaning and maintenance
• Before cleaning your device, put the thermostat
in its minimum position and unplug from the wall
socket.
• Leave the grill to cool before cleaning and remove
the thermostat plug from the device. To do this,
simply hold the specic lead plug rmly and pull.
• Never immerse the Gridiron in water or any other
liquid. the oil tray can be wased
• If any water gets on to the electric connections,
allow to dry before using again.
• Clean the outer surfaces of the grill with a soft,
slightly damp cloth.
• Do not use strong detergents or scouring pads
which may scratch the non-stick coating .
• Food tray and oil tray are detachable. They can be
put into dishwasher and cleaned.
