Warning ! - It might be dangerous to operate the tool, if the instructions
supplied are not followed.
Before using, installing, repairing or changing accessories, read and
understand these instructions.
Personal protective equipment as eye, ear protection and protective gloves
must be used when operating the tool.
INTENDED USE
The die grinders are intended for chamfering, deburring, and light cleaning operations and is fitted with inserted
tools mounted in collet chucks.
Operator's Instruction Manuals for URYU Pneumatic Die Grinders----------------
1. AIR PRESSURE:
The tool is designed to operate on a working of pressure 5 - 6 bar= 0.5MPa -0.6MPa. Do not increase air
pressure for power-up.
2. AIR HOSES & FITTINGS:
Correct hoses (the shorter, the better) and fittings of good conditions should be used for safety operation and correct
performance. See enclosed TECHNICAL DATA for Air Hose Size and Air lnlet Thread.
3. DRY & CLEAN AIR:
Drain daily and install air filter at or near the take-off point to prevent trouble from foreign matters. A filter-regulator-
lubricator should be installed in air supply line.
4. SPINDLE SPEED:
Check spindle speed frequently with a tachometer to make sure thai actual free speed at 6 bar does not exceed
rated free speed marked on the grinder.
5. COLLET CHUCK:
Use suitable and well-maintained collet chuck and chuck nut.
•Do not use other than permitted insert tools with the correct shaft diameter.
•When using mounted points or burrs, the minimum allowable distance (overhang) from the collet to the back of the
mounted point is 10mm. The allowed speed of the mounted point is lowered if !his distance is increased.
•When using mounted points or burrs, ensure that a minimum length of 100mm of the shank is gripped in the collet.
•Do not use incorrectly mounted or damaged insert tools. These may result in hazardous excessive vibration levels.
•The insert tool must be approved for the rated speed of the die grinder.
6. AIR SUPPL V:
Connect the tool to the air line.
Note: Before connecting the tool, read the separate operators safety manual for grinders.
7. THROTTLE LEVER:
Throttle lever is equipped with self-locking device. Grip the handle firmly and press the throttle lever together with
self-locking device slowly to start grinding operation. When the throttle lever is released, the lever is locked
automatically.
8. EXHAUST AIR:
Check thai exhaust air is directed to avoid blowing dust or air from the work piece onto the operator or other
persons. Arrange for barriers if possible.

9. LUBRICATION:
For Air Motor -Supply light turbine oil properly through air inlet or line lubricator before and atter operation. (For
example, Mobile Turbine Oil #32, Shell Turbine Oil #32 and/or equivalents)
For Bearings -Supply high quality grease properly (For example, Shell Alvania No. 2, Mobilplex 2 and/or
equivalents) once every three months and when the tool is overhauled. Over-greasing will cause dull motion or
healing.
10. DISPOSAL OF TOOL:
The tool is made of steel, aluminum alloy, casting iron, plastic, rubber and so on. When disposing the tool, make
sure not to cause pollution to human being and environment.
11. MAINTENANCE:
•At least once very three months regular or periodical overhaul by a competent person is needed f or better
performance and trouble-less operation.
•All the spindles, collet chuck, collet chuck nul or other machine parts on insert tools fil should be periodically
inspected and maintained in good condition.
•Use only Uryu's genuine spare parts for replacement.
•Ensure that the data marking on the tool is kepi in a legible condition.
•Maintenance and repair records should be kepi on all tools.

Operator's Safety Manuals for URYU DIE Grinders------------------------------------
1. The air pressure at the tool air inlet shall not exceed the maximum operating pressure 0.63 MPa.
2. Air hoses and lineshall be relieved of compressed air before being disconnected or disjointed, unless there is an
automatic closing valve protection at the joint being separated.
3. An accessible means for shutting off air supply should be provided at each tool station.
4. Air hoses shall be blown out before connection to the tool, and when not in use the air inlet shall be plugged.
5. Hose coupling shall be securely fitted to the tool and take off point. It an air hose and fittings are not correctly used
or improperly installed, the air hose may come off and whip. Air hose and fittings must be inspected regularly for
damage and wear. Replace them when necessary.
6. Do not use other than permitted insert tools with correct shank diameter. Cutting-off wheel and routing cutter
wheel shall not be used.
7. Make sure that allowed speed of the insert tool is higher !han the speed of the die grinder.
8. Always ensure thai the collet in the machine is the correct size for the shank. It is dangerous to reduce shank
diameter or to force point etc. into an incorrectly matched collet.
9. When using the mounted point, pay particular attention to the faet that allowed speed of the mounted point is
lowered because of increase of the length of the shaft between the end of the collet and mounted point (overhang).
Make sure !hat minimum gripping length of 10mm is observed.

13. Operators of Pneumatic Die Grinders shall be instructed in their proper use.
A) Keep hands and clothing away from the working end of the tool.

C) Practice the safety requirements applicable to the machine and tools being used and the nature ol the work
performed.
D) Should be properly trained in the sale use ol the mounted point and the fitting ol them to the machine.
E) Protective safety glasses and hearing protectors shall be used. Other personal protective equipment such as
gloves, apron and helmet shall be used when necessary.
F) The machine should be disconnected from the air supply before serving or changing the mounted point. This will
prevent the tool from operating il the throttle is accidentally engaged
G) Remember that die grinder is still running on for a while even alter the throttle lever has been released. It is very
dangerous to touch the insert tools soon alter stopping operation. Do not lay down the tool until the tool
completely stops moving.
H) Never use the air hose for supporting, lifting or lowering the tool. Use a safety line or cable on the tool when
working in elevated area.
I ) Make sure that no bystanders are in the vicinity.
14. Where the working process in certain materials creates emission ol dust and !urnes, personnel shall be protected
with dust collectors and personal protective devices.
15. Check spindle speed frequently with a tachometer to make sure that actual free speed at 6 bar does not exceed
rated free speed marked on the tool.
Note: The wheel must be dismounted before the grinder is checked.
16. li the tool is fixed to a balancer or a similar device, make sure that the fixation is secure.
17. When air supply is interrupted, return the throttle lever to the stop position.
18. The die grinders must not be used in explosive atmospheres.
19. The die grinders are not insulated against coming into contact with electric power.
20. Check that Uryu genuine collet chuck and chuck nut are used and are in goo"d condition, i.e. free from cracks and
burrs and are flat.
21. Ensure that the collet chuck and chuck nut are correctly mounted and tightened. Over-tightening can damage the
mounted wheel.
22. Make sure that service personnel is properly trained.
23. Always keep the tool in dry, clean place when not in use.

ADVARSEL! Det kan være farligt at bruge værktøjet, hvis medfølgende
instruktioner ikke følges.
Inden brug, installation, reparation eller udskiftning af tilbehør skal disse
instruktioner læses igennem og forstås.
Brugeren skal beskytte sine øjne og øre. Ligeledes skal handsker
benyttes under brug af maskinen.
Anvendelsesområde:
Maskinen er, med monteret slibemateriale i spændepatronen, beregnet til slibning, afgratning, reifning og lettere
rensningsopgaver.
Brugervejledning for URYU trykluftslibere.
1. Lufttryk:
Maskinen er konstrueret til et arbejdstryk på 5-6 bar (0.5MPa-0.6MPa). For højt tryk forkorter maskinens levetid.
2. Slangestørrelse & tilslutning:
Korrekte slanger Uo kortere, jo bedre) og fittings anbefales for korrekt brug og udnyttelse af maskinen.
Se "TEKNISKE DATA" for slange- og gevindstørrelser.
3. Tør & ren
luft:
Vandudskiller og tågesmører skal anvendes, og bør ikke placeres mere end 3m fra maskinen.
Støv, aggressive dampe og/eller fugt kan ødelægge motoren i værktøjet.
4. Omdrejningshastighed:
Check omdrejningshastigheden regelmæssigt med en omdrejningstæller for at sikre, at den aktuelle frie tryk på 6
bar ikke overskrider den angivne hastighed på sliberen.
5. Spændepatron:
Brug passende og velholdte spændepatroner og tilhørende møtrik.
•Anvend ikke andet tilbehør end det foreskrevne med korrekt skaft diameter.
•Når tilbehør (f.eks. hårdmetalfile) anvendes må afstanden fra patronen til enden af indsatsen minimum være
10mm. Den tilladte hastighed på tilbehøret nedsættes hvis afstanden øges.
•Når tilbehør (f.eks. hårdmetalfile) anvendes skal minimum 10mm af skaftet ned i spændepatronen.
•Anvend aldrig defekte eller ødelagte indsatse. Disse kan forårsage voldsomme vibrationer.
•Indsatsen skal være godkendt til den hastighed som sliberen kører med.
6. Lufttilførsel:
Tilslut maskinen til luftslangen.
OBS! Inden maskinen tages i brug skal sikkerhedsinstruktionerne læses grundigt igennem.
7. Oplukkerhåndtag:
Håndtaget er udstyret med en selvlukkende anordning. Pres håndtaget ned sammen med den selvlukkende
anordning for at starte maskinen. Når sikkerhedshåndtaget slippes, lukkes dette automatisk.
8. Afgangsluft:
Kontroller at afgangsluften ikke blæser direkte på brugeren eller andre personer i nærheden.

9. Smøring:
Luftmotoren: Smør motoren ved at dryppe en dråbe olie i luftindgangen før og efter hver arbejdsgang, eller anvend
en tågesmører hvilket er at anbefale. (Anvend f.eks. Mobil turbineolie #32, Shell turbineolie #32 og/eller olie af
tilsvarende kvalitet.)
Kuglelejer: Smør kuglelejerne grundigt med fedt af en høj kvalitet. (Anvend f.eks. Shell Alvania
nr. 2, Mobiplex 2 og/eller tilsvarende). Dette gøres hver tredje måned eller ved eftersyn af maskinen.
10. Kassering af maskinen:
Maskinen er produceret af stål, støbejern, aluminium, plast, gummi og olieprodukter. Sørg for at maskinen ikke
forårsager forurening i miljøet ved en eventuel kassering af maskinen.
11. Vedligeholdelse:
•For at sikre at værktøjet arbejder optimalt og problemfrit skal værktøjet efterses af en kompetent person mindst
hver tredje måned.
•Alle spindler, spændepatroner, spændemøtrikker og andre maskindele hvorpå slibematerialerne monteres skal
efterses og vedligeholdes regelmæssigt.
•Ved reparationer skal originale URYU reservedele anvendes.
•Sørg for at datamarkeringen på maskinen holdes i en sådan stand at maskinmodel og nummer tydeligt fremgår
heraf.
•Vedligeholdelse og reparationsdokument bør føres over samtlige maskiner.

Sikkerhedsinstruktioner
1. Maskinens lufttryk må aldrig overstige det maksimale arbejdstryk, hvilket er 0.63MPa.
2. Luftslangen skal altid tømmes for luft inden maskinen kobles fra. Slangen skal fjernes fra maskinen inden værktøjet
skiftes.
3. Det skal være muligt at lukke for lufttilførslen til maskinen ved hvert arbejdssted.
4. Luftslangen skal blæses igennem inden den tilsluttes maskinen og der skal sidde en prop på maskinens
luftindgang når maskinen ikke bruges.
5. Slangekoblinger skal sidde ordentlig fast i maskinen og være ordentligt fastmonteret på slangen.
Hvis en slangekobling anvendes forkert eller er monteret forkert, kan slangen løsne og forårsage skader ved
"slangekast". Luftslange og koblinger skal efterses og skiftes regelmæssigt for at forhindre slidtage og skader.
6. Anvend ikke andet tilbehør end det foreskrevne med korrekt skaft diameter. Skæreskiver og grovkornede skiver må
ikke anvendes.
7. Kontroller at tilbehørets maksimale hastighed er højere end hastigheden på sliberen.
8. Kontroller altid at patronen i maskinen er den korrekte størrelse i forhold til skaftet på tilbehøret. Det er farligt at
ændre skaftdiameteren eller at tvinge et skaft ned i en spændepatron af forkert størrelse.
9. Når det monterede tilbehør anvendes, vær især opmærksom på, at den tilladte hastighed på tilbehøret er lavere,
p.g.a. forlængelsen af skaftet mellem enden af patronen og det monterede tilbehør (udhæng). Sørg for at
gribelængden er minimum 10mm.
10. Vær opmærksom på at patronen passer til skaftstørrelsen på tilbehøret der skal monteres, og at spændemøtrikken
er fastskruet så tilbehøret er monteret ordentligt.
11. Brug aldrig tilbehør, som er forkert monteret og ødelagt da dette kan resultere i voldsomme vibrationer i patronen.
12. Før værktøjet tilsluttes luft skal oplukkerhåndtaget kontrolleres d.v.s. at det fungerer korrekt.
13. Brugere af trykluftdrevne lynslibere skal før ibrugtagning instrueres i korrekt brug:
(A) Hold hænder, løsthængende tøj og langt hår borte fra roterende dele af maskinen under brug.
(B) Gennemgå sikkerhedsreglerne ved brug af maskinen.
(C) Brugeren skal instrueres i korrekt brug og montering af slibematerialer, file m.m.
