IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS
1. Read all the instructions.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces, always use handle or knobs.
3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children.
4. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug or any parts of
the oven in water or any other liquids.
5. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
6. Do not operate appliance with damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Contact Usha care.
7. The use of accessories/ attachments not recommended may cause hazard
or injury.
8. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner.
9. When operating the oven, keep at least four inches of free space on all sides
of the oven for adequate air circulation.
10. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before
putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.
11. To disconnect, turn the time to OFF, then remove the plug. Always hold the
plug, and never pull the cord.
12. Extreme caution must be used when moving a drip pan containing hot oil or
other hot liquids.
13. Use extreme caution when removing the tray, racks or disposing of hot
grease or other hot liquids.
14. Do not cover baking tray or any part of the oven with metal foil. This may
cause the oven to overheat.
15. Do not clean inside of the oven with metal scouring pads, which can touch
electrical parts, creating a risk of electric shock.
16. Oversized foods or metal utensils must not be inserted in the oven as they
may cause fire or risk of electric shock.
17. A fire may occur if the oven is covered or on coming in contact with any
flammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when
in operation. Do not store any item on top of the appliance when in operation.
18. Extreme caution should be exercised when using cooking or baking
container made of anything other than metal or oven proof glass.
19. Be sure that nothing touches the top or bottom elements of the oven.
20. Do not place any of the following materials in the oven: cardboard, plastic,
paper, or anything similar.

21. Always wear protective, insulated oven gloves while placing or removing
items from the hot oven.
22. This appliance has safety glass door. The glass is stronger than ordinary
glass and more resistant to breakage. Glass can still break around edges.
Avoid scratching door surface or nicking edges.
23. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
24. This appliance is for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.

3. Time Control: Turn the control to right (clockwise). This function has “bell
rings” at the end of programmed time.
HOW TO USE ROTISSERIE FUNCTION
1. Set the thermostat control to chosen position.
2. Set the function control. Insert the pointer end of SPIT through skewer,
making sure the points of skewer face in the same direction as pointed
end of the spit. Slide skewer towards square of the spit and secure with
thumbscrew.
3. Place food to be cooked on the spit by running the spit directly through the
centre of the food.
4. Place the second skewer into the other end of the roast of poultry and secure
skewer with the thumbscrew.
5. Check if the food is centered on the SPIT or not.
6. Insert the point end of the spit into the DRIVE SOCKET. Make sure the square
end of the spit rests on the spit support.
7. Turn the time control to the chosen position.
8. When complete, the bell will ring.
9. Remove the spit by placing the hooks of the rotisserie handle under the
grooves on either side of the spit. Lift the side of the spit first by lifting it up
and out. Then pull the spit out of the drive socket and carefully remove roast
from the oven. Take the meat off, of the spit and place on cutting board or
platter.
GRILLING
For best results, it is recommended that you preheat for 15 minutes on 250•C.

• Bellwillringtosignaltheendofthetoastcycle.
Note: Wire rack should be positioned in the middle of the oven with the
indentations pointing down.
BAKE
Operation
• Placethewirerackinthelowestormiddleracksupport.
• Placefoodtobecookedonthewirerack.
• Turnthefunctioncontrolto
• TurntheTimeControltomoderationposition.Whengrillingiscompletethe
bell will ring.
NOTE: When using a single wire rack, position Wire Rack in the lowest
Support Guide.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
1. Disconnect the oven by taking out plug from the outlet.
2. Always clean the dyed and enamelled parts of the oven after every use. Keep
the oven open to let it dry.
3. Ensure that all acidic materials (lemon or oil) are cleaned immediately.
4. The oil tray and grill shells can be cleaned with detergent and water.
Preferably use dry cleaning powders to clean inner & outer sides of the oven.
5. If supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced to avoid a hazard.
6. Danger: Electrical appliance must only be required by company service
specialists. In case of repair, Contact Usha Care.

This appliance is warranted for 1 year against all manufacturing defects from
the date of sale. In the event of any complaint, please contact Usha Care at
Toll Free No. 1800 1033 111.
The warranty is valid only when:
1) The appliance has been installed, used and maintained in accordance with
the instruction manual.
2) The warranty card and cash memo duly signed by the authorized dealer are
presented with the complaint.
3) The appliance has not been opened or tampered with, by any unauthorized
person.
This warranty does not apply for:
1) Damages due to chipping, peeling, plating and denting.
2) Breakage or damage to components made out of Bakelite, Urea, ABS, SAN
and such plastic materials, rubber parts and cord.
3) Normal wear and tear of parts.
4) Damage resulting from accidents, mishandling or negligence on part of the
customer.
Liability for consequential loss or damage is neither accepted nor implied.
