Remove all components from crate. It may be to the1.
installer’s advantage to place the cast iron boiler block
close to where the nal installation location will be.
Boiler may be piped and pressurized before
installing jackets & components.
NOTICE
Attach top and bottom rear intermediate panels with2.
5/16”x1/2” bolts & washers. Be sure top anges point
toward the front of the boiler. Bottom panel anges
will point rearward. Hold bottom ange to top of holes
while tightening bolts. See Figure 1.

TriFire Oil Fired Boiler
SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTIONS
This assembly must be completed by a qualied installer or service agency, in accordance with the
manufacturer’s instructions, and in accordance with all codes and requirements of the authority having
jurisdiction. Failure to follow these instructions could result in re or explosion resulting in property dam-
age, personal injury, or loss of life.
WARNING

Wrap insulation around boiler with the smooth side out.3.
Be sure to overlap underneath boiler. Wrap 2 banding
strips around insulation and tie as shown in Figure 2,
Cut off excess banding material. The rear insulation is
not installed until step 11.

Attach pipe nipples to supply and return outlets. Be4.
sure to use pipe dope before screwing into boiler. See
Figure 3.

Insert (4) 5/16” x 1/2” bolts into threaded holes on front5.
of boiler as shown in Figure 4. Do not tighten down.
These bolts will hold the side Jacket panels on the
boiler.

Place the left side jacket panel on the 5/16”x1/2” bolts6.
from step 6. Place the control panel on the top of the
boiler with the burner wire harness on the right. See
Figure 5.

Attach the control panel to the left side jacket. The7.
slot on the front of the control panel will slide over the
screw in the side jacket panel. See Figure 5A.

Attach the right side jacket panel to the boiler and8.
control panel like the left side. At the rear of the boiler,
be sure the panel ts over the top and bottom interme-
diate anges from step 2. Be sure to route the burner
wire harness as shown in Figure 6. Do not tighten all
the hardware yet.

Attach the burner harness zip tie to right side jacket9.

Attach the side jackets to the lower intermediate10.

Attach the lower rear. Insert the tabs into the slots12.
provided. Do not attach the upper rear panel yet. (Pipe
nipples removed for clarity)

You may now tighten down the control panel and side13.
panel hardware. You may have to pull the front switch
out in order to completely fasten the screws. (See
Figure 9.

Attach the upper rear panel by sliding the tabs into15.
the slots in the side panels and lower rear panel. Use
the screws provided to attach the upper rear panel to
the top panel. See Figure 9.
