IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
1. Read all instructions before using this heater.
2. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, DO NOT let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
If provided, use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as
furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the
front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
3. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids
and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
4. Always unplug heater when not in use.
5. DO NOT operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions,
has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Discard heater, or return to authorized
service facility for examination and/or repair.
6. DO NOT run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar
coverings. DO NOT route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from
traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
7. A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. DO NOT use it in areas where
gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
8. DO NOT insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this
may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
9. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
10. Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/ receptacle. Never use with an extension
cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
11. If the heater will not operate, see specific instructions on Auto Safety Shut-off.
12. DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this unit.
Doing so will void your warranty. The inside of the unit contains no user serviceable
parts. All servicing should be performed by qualified personnel only.
13. Discontinue use if plug or outlet is hot. It is recommended that the outlet be replaced if
plug or outlet is hot to touch.
14. The heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet. DO NOT use this
heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
15. DO NOT use with wireless plug adapter or outlet that allows control remotely.

use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
2.Turn the power off when servicing this appliance. First turn the main power switch to the
“OFF”position. Then remove the electrical plug from the wall outlet.

4.This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor
locations. NEVER locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.

6.This heater draws 12.5 amps during operation. To prevent overloading a circuit, DO NOT

This heater is for use on 120 Volts. The power
cord has a polarized plug as show below. (one
blade is wider than the other). To reduce the

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Carefully remove your heater from the box. Please save the carton for off-season storage.
3. Avoid overloading your circuit by not using other high wattage appliances in the same outlet.

Mode Control
Turn the Mode Control to the desired setting:
O - Off Mode
If you want to shut off the heater at any time of operation, turn the Mode Control to Off
(o)position. Power Light may remain lit until the heater is unplugged.
I - Low Heat
The heater will run continuously at 750W.
II - High Heat
The heater will run continuously at 1500W.

Always unplug the heater before cleaning and allow the heater to cool down.
1. Clean the unit with a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap and water solution.
2. Never use abrasive or flammable solvents to clean the unit.
3. After cleaning, be sure to completely dry the unit with a cloth or towel.
4. Store heater unit with cord in a cool, dry location. We recommend storing the unit and
cord in the original package.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Thermostat Control
1. Before setting the thermostat, allow heater to operate and warm up the room. As noted
above, you need to turn the Thermostat Control clockwise to High to start the heater.
2. When the desired temperature comfort level is reached, lower the thermostat setting until
the heater stops operating. This is done by moving the Thermostat Control counter-clockwise
toward the Low setting
3. The control will now automatically maintain the pre-set temperature level by turning the
heater ON and OFF.
NOTE: It is normal for the heater to cycle ON and OFF as it maintains the preset
temperature. To prevent the unit from cycling, you need to raise the thermostat setting.
CAUTION: FRONT GRILL IS HOT WHEN UNIT IS IN OPERATION.
AUTO SAFETY SHUT-OFF WITH INSTANT
OVER HEAT PROTECTION
This heater is equipped with a technologically-advanced safety system that requires the user
to reset the heater if there is a potential overheat situation. When a potential overheat
temperature is reached, the system will automatically shut the heater off. It can only resume
operation when the user resets the unit. For specific reset instructions please refer to the unit.
RESET INSTRUCTIONS
If your heater shuts down:
1) Turn Control to OFF. 2) Unplug the unit and wait 30 minutes. 3) Plug in and operate normally

Tip Over Shut-Off:
When the unit is accidentally knocked over, it will instantly shut off. The unit may also
shut off if it is moved or bumped. To reset, simply place the heater in an upright position
and it will operate normally.
NOTE: If unit does not turn on when placed in the upright position, turn the Mode Control to
High(II)setting and heater will resume operation.


Lea y comprenda completamente este manual antes de intentar ensamblar, usar o instalar el
producto.
INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES
Cuando utilice electrodomésticos, siempre tome las medidas de seguridad básicas para evitar

INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
1. Retire el calentador de la caja con cuidado. Asegúrese de guardar la caja para almacenar el
calentador durante las épocas en que no lo usa.
2. Asegúrese de que el interruptor esté en la posición apagado (OFF) (o) antes de enchufar el
calentador en el tomacorriente.
3. Evite la sobrecarga del circuito al no usar ningún otro electrodoméstico de vataje alto en el mismo
circuito. A 1500 vatios, esta unidad consume 12,5 amperios.
NOTA: cuando el calentador está encendido, puede notar vibraciones o ruidos que provienen de la
rejilla y del interior de los tubos de cuarzo. TENGA PRESENTE QUE ESTO ES NORMAL Y DE
FUNCIONAMIENTO SEGURO.
Una vez que el elemento de calefacción de cuarzo se haya calentado, la vibración y el ruido
desaparecerán.
Modo control
Gire el modo control hacia el ajuste deseado:
O: modo (apagado)
Si desea apagar el calentador en cualquier momento mientras esté en funcionamiento, gire el modo
control a la posición de apagado (o). La luz de encendido debe permanecer encendida hasta que el
calentador se desenchufe.
I: temperatura baja

INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
Control de termostato
1. Antes de programar el termostato, deje que el calentador funcione y caliente la habitación. Como se
indicó anteriormente, debe girar la perilla del control del termostato en dirección de las manecillas
del reloj hacia el ajuste más alto para encender el calentador.
2. Cuando haya alcanzado una temperatura agradable, baje la configuración del termostato hasta que
el calentador se detenga. Esto se logra al girar la perilla del control del termostato en dirección
contraria a las manecillas del reloj hacia el ajuste más bajo.
3. El control mantendrá de manera automática el nivel de temperatura predeterminada al ENCENDER
(ON) o APAGAR (OFF) el calentador.
NOTA: es normal que el calentador alterne entre ENCENDIDO (ON) y APAGADO (OFF) ya que
mantiene la temperatura predeterminada. Para evitar que la unidad alterne, necesita aumentar la
configuración del termostato.
PRECAUCIÓN: LA REJILLA FRONTAL SE CALIENTA CUANDO LA UNIDAD ESTÁ EN
FUNCIONAMIENTO.
DESCONEXIÓN AUTOMÁTICA DE SEGURIDAD INSTANTÁNEA
PROTECCIÓN CONTRA EL SOBRECALENTAMIENTO
El calentador está equipado con un sistema de seguridad con la tecnología más avanzada que
requiere que el usuario reinicie el calentador si existe una situación potencial de sobrecalentamiento.
Cuando se alcance una temperatura de sobrecalentamiento potencial, el sistema apagará el
calentador de manera automática. Solo se podrá activar el funcionamiento si el usuario reinicia la
unidad. Consulte la unidad para instrucciones específicas de reinicio.
INSTRUCCIONES PARA EL REINICIO
Si el calentador se apaga realice lo siguiente:
1) Gire el control a la posición APAGADO (OFF). 2) Desenchufe la unidad y espere 30 minutos.
3) Enchufe y hágala funcionar normalmente.
Apagado antivuelco:
La unidad se apagará al instante en caso de que se caiga de manera accidental. La unidad también
se podrá apagar si se mueve o se golpea. Para reiniciarlo, regrese el calentador a la posición vertical
y funcionará normalmente.
NOTA: Si la unidad no se enciende cuando se la coloca en la posición vertical, gire el modo control al
ajuste alto (II) y el calentador reanudará el funcionamiento.
CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO
Siempre desenchufe el calentador antes de limpiarlo y espere a que se enfríe.
1. Limpie la unidad con un paño suave humedecido con una solución de agua y jabón
suave.
2. Nunca use solventes abrasivos o inflamables para limpiar la unidad.
3. Luego de la limpieza, asegúrese de secar la unidad de manera completa con un paño
o una toalla.
4. Almacene este calentador con cable en un lugar fresco y seco. Le recomendamos que
guarde la unidad con cable en su caja original.
