IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
1. Read all instructions before using this heater.
2. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, DO NOT let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
If provided, use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as
furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the
front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
3. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids
and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
4. Always unplug heater when not in use.
5. DO NOT operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions,
has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Discard heater, or return to authorized
service facility for examination and/or repair.
6. DO NOT run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar
coverings. DO NOT route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from
traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
7. A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. DO NOT use it in areas where
gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
8. DO NOT insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this
may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
9. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
10. Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/ receptacle. Never use with an extension
cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
11. If the heater will not operate, see specific instructions on Auto Safety Shut-off.
12. DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this unit.
Doing so will void your warranty. The inside of the unit contains no user serviceable
parts. All servicing should be performed by qualified personnel only.
13. Discontinue use if plug or outlet is hot. It is recommended that the outlet be replaced if
plug or outlet is hot to touch.
14. The heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet. DO NOT use this
heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
15. DO NOT use with wireless plug adapter or outlet that allows control remotely.

This heater is for use on 120 Volts. The power
cord has a polarized plug as show below. (one
blade is wider than the other). To reduce the
risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit
in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician
to install the proper outlet. DO NOT attempt
to modify this plug or defeat this safety feature in any way. Never use with an extension cord

1. Carefully remove the heater from the carton and bag. Make certain the unit is in the OFF
position before plugging the heater into the power outlet.
2. Before using the heater, make sure that it is on a flat and stable surface. Damage may occur if it
is placed in an incline or decline.
3. Turn the power control to the off position and then plug the heater power cord directly into a
standard AC outlet. The outlet may need to be replaced if the plugs fit loosely when inserted into
the outlet.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

If you want to shut the heater off at any time during operation, turn the Power Control to Off (O)
position. Power Light may remain lit until the heater is unplugged.

1.Before setting the thermostat, allow heater to operate and heat the room. As noted above,
turn the thermostat Control clockwise to highest setting to start the heater.
2.When the desired temperature is reached, turn the thermostat control counter clockwise
until the heater turns off.
3.The control will now automatically maintain the pre-set temperature level by turning the
heater ON and OFF.
NOTE: It is normal for the heater to cycle ON and OFF as it maintains the preset temperature.
To prevent the unit from cycling, increase the thermostat setting.
NOTE: The Power Light will remain lit during operation.
NOTE: THIS UNIT IS FOR FLOOR USE ONLY.
CAUTION: FRONT GRILL IS HOT WHEN UNIT IS IN OPERATION.

Always unplug the heater before cleaning and allow the heater to cool down.
1. Clean the unit with a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap and water solution.
2. Never use abrasive or flammable solvents to clean the unit.
3. After cleaning, be sure to completely dry the unit with a cloth or towel.
4. Store heater unit with cord in a cool, dry location. We recommend storing the unit and
cord in the original package.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
AUTO SAFETY SHUT-OFF WITH INSTANT
This heater is equipped with a Total Safety System with tip-over protection that will shut-off the
heater in an overheat situation.
TIP-OVER SHUT-OFF:
When the unit is accidentally knocked over, it will shut off. To reset, simply place the heater in
an upright position on a level surface.
OVERHEAT SHUT-OFF:
When a potential overheat temperature is reached, the system will automatically shut the
heater off. Make sure heater is clear of all obstructions. It can only resume operation
when the user resets the unit.
RESET INSTRUCTIONS:
If your heater shuts down:
1) Turn Control to OFF.
2) Unplug the unit and wait 30 minutes.
3) Plug in and operate normally.

Lea y comprenda completamente este manual antes de intentar ensamblar, usar o instalar el

INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES
Cuando utilice electrodomésticos, siempre tome las medidas de seguridad básicas para evitar

INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
1. Retire con cuidado el calentador de la caja y la bolsa. Asegúrese de que el interruptor esté en
la posición apagado (OFF) antes de enchufar el calentador en el tomacorriente.
2. Antes de usar el calentador, asegúrese de que la superficie sea plana y estable. Podrían

3. Gire el control de alimentación a la posición de apagado y luego conecte el cable de

Control de alimentación
1. Gire el selector hacia el ajuste deseado:

Si desea apagar el calentador en cualquier momento durante el funcionamiento, coloque el
control de encendido en la posición de apagado (O). La luz de encendido debe permanecer
encendida hasta que el calentador se desenchufe.

Control de termostato
1. Antes de programar el termostato, deje que el calentador funcione y caliente
la habitación. Como se indicó anteriormente, gire la perilla del control del
termostato en dirección de las manecillas del reloj hacia el ajuste más alto
para encender el calentador.
2. Cuando se alcance la temperatura deseada, gire el control de termostato en
dirección contraria a las manecillas del reloj hasta que el calentador se
apague.
3. El control mantendrá de manera automática el nivel de temperatura
predeterminada al ENCENDER (ON) o APAGAR (OFF) el calentador.
NOTA: es normal que el calentador alterne entre ENCENDIDO (ON) y APAGADO
(OFF) ya que mantiene la temperatura predeterminada. Para evitar que la unidad
alterne, eleve la configuración del termostato.
NOTA: la luz de encendido permanecerá encendida durante el funcionamiento.
NOTA: ESTA UNIDAD ES PARA USO SOBRE EL PISO ÚNICAMENTE.
PRECAUCIÓN: LA REJILLA FRONTAL SE CALIENTA CUANDO LA UNIDAD

DESCONEXIÓN AUTOMÁTICA DE SEGURIDAD INSTANTÁNEA
El calentador está equipado con un sistema de seguridad total con protección contra vuelcos que
apagará el calentador en una situación de sobrecalentamiento.
APAGADO ANTIVUELCO:
La unidad se apagará en caso de que se caiga de manera accidental. Para restablecerla,
simplemente coloque el calentador en posición vertical sobre una superficie nivelada.
APAGADO POR SOBRECALENTAMIENTO:
Cuando se alcance una temperatura de sobrecalentamiento potencial, el sistema apagará el
calentador de manera automática. Asegúrese de que el calentador esté libre de obstrucciones. Solo
se podrá activar el funcionamiento si el usuario reinicia la unidad.
INSTRUCCIONES PARA EL REINICIO:
Si el calentador se apaga realice lo siguiente:
1) Gire el control a la posición APAGADO (OFF).
2) Desenchufe la unidad y espere 30 minutos.
3) Enchufe y hágala funcionar normalmente.
CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO
Siempre desenchufe el calentador antes de limpiarlo y espere a que se enfríe.
1. Limpie la unidad con un paño suave humedecido con una solución de agua y jabón
suave.
2. Nunca use solventes abrasivos o inflamables para limpiar la unidad.
3. Luego de la limpieza, asegúrese de secar la unidad de manera completa con un paño o
una toalla.
4. Almacene este calentador con cable en un lugar fresco y seco. Le recomendamos que
guarde la unidad con cable en su caja original.
