1. Spécifications générales
Cet écrin rotatif a été spécialement conçu pour le rangement et le remontage
de la quasi-totalité des montres à mouvement automatique disponible sur
le marché. Il est programmé d’origine pour effectuer un cycle de 1600 tours/
jour, soit 800 rotations/jour dans chaque sens de rotation.
De fabrication suisse, l’écrin rotatif a été réalisé en utilisant des matériaux
de première qualité. L’entraînement mécanique direct ainsi que la carte
électronique comptant un nombre déterminé de 800 rotations/jour ont été
élaborés et testés avec des technologies modernes et novatrices. Celles-ci
lui confèrent une grande fiabilité de fonctionnement ainsi qu’une longue durée
de vie.

a. Démarrage rapide en Bluetooth
Pour connecter en Bluetooth l’écrin rotatif à votre smartphone :
1. Télécharger l’application Swiss Kubik sur votre smartphone.
2. Une fois l’application installée, positionner l’interrupteur sur ON (à
droite) pour allumer l’écrin rotatif.
3. Sélectionner l’écrin rotatif, maintenant détectable sur l’application
Swiss Kubik.
4. Félicitations ! Votre smartphone est maintenant connecté à l’écrin
rotatif.
5. Facultatif : Renommer au besoin le nom de la montre, directement sur
votre smartphone.
b. Positionnement de l’écrin rotatif
IMPORTANT : Pendant son utilisation, l’écrin rotatif doit impérativement être
en position (montre verticale) selon le schéma ci-dessous.

c. Montage et démontage de la montre sur le support
Pour placer la montre sur le support (III) de l’écrin rotatif :
1. Positionner l’interrupteur (I) sur arrêt (à gauche) (Fig. A)
2. Retirer le support de montre (III) de l’écrin rotatif et placer la montre
sur le support avec le bracelet fermé (Fig. B). Les deux supports de
montre (III) fournis avec l’écrin rotatif permettent de s’adapter aux
différentes longueurs de bracelets.
3. Repositionner le support avec la montre en position verticale (Fig. C)
dans le cylindre rotatif (IV) en le pressant jusqu’à la butée.
Pour enlever la montre du support (III) de l’écrin rotatif :
1. Positionner l’interrupteur (I) sur arrêt (à gauche) (Fig. A)
2. Retirer le support de montre (III) avec la montre de l’écrin rotatif et
enlever la montre du support (III) en le compressant ou en ouvrant
le bracelet.
3. Repositionner le support (III) avec la montre en position verticale (Fig.
C) dans le cylindre rotatif (IV) en le pressant jusqu’à la butée.

Lorsque l’interrupteur est en position de marche (positionné à droite), un
voyant lumineux de couleur s’allume dans l’interrupteur, alternativement
en rouge et en vert durant quelques secondes, afin d’indiquer la phase
d’initialisation.
Ensuite, la montre effectue 95 cycles de 20 rotations (10 dans le sens des
aiguilles de la montre et 10 dans le sens contraire), soit au total 1600 tours
toutes les 24 heures. Entre chaque cycle de rotations, le support de montre
s’arrête automatiquement dans sa position verticale initiale.

Fonctionnement correct :
En réglage STANDARD, un fonctionnement correct de l’écrin rotatif est
indiqué par un voyant lumineux (II) de couleur verte (ou rouge selon l’état des
piles) clignotant à un intervalle régulier d’une impulsion toutes les 5 secondes
environ.
En réglage PERSONNALISÉ, un fonctionnement correct de l’écrin rotatif est
indiqué par un voyant lumineux (II) de couleur verte (ou rouge selon l’état
des piles) clignotant à un intervalle régulier de deux impulsions rapprochées
toutes les 5 secondes environ.
Dysfonctionnement :
Un dysfonctionnement du système de comptage des tours sera indiqué par
un voyant lumineux (II) de couleur rouge clignotant à un intervalle régulier de
trois impulsions rapprochées toutes les 5 secondes environ. (Informations
complémentaires dans la partie 4).
NOTA : En cas de faible charge des piles, le voyant lumineux (II) clignotera de
couleur rouge selon le mode de fonctionnement choisi. Les piles doivent alors
être remplacées dans un délai de 3 mois.
f. Piles
IMPORTANT :
– Afin de garantir le bon fonctionnement de l’écrin rotatif, il est
recommandé de toujours remplacer les 2 piles en même temps par
des piles neuves du même type.
– Les piles et/ou accumulateurs rechargeables ne doivent pas être
utilisés.

Pour remplacer les piles :
1. Dévisser la vis du couvercle de piles à l’aide d’une pièce de monnaie et
retirer le couvercle de piles (Fig. A)
2. Retirer les piles usagées et placer les deux nouvelles piles dans les
logements prévus à cet effet (Fig. B). IMPORTANT : Veiller à respecter
les polarités +/- lors du positionnement des nouvelles piles afin de ne
pas endommager l’écrin rotatif.
3. Repositionner le couvercle de piles et visser la vis du couvercle à
l’aide d’une pièce de monnaie (Fig. C)
3. Précautions d’usage
– Il est recommandé de nettoyer/dépoussiérer régulièrement l’écrin
rotatif à l’aide d’un chiffon doux légèrement humide puis de l’essuyer
avec un chiffon sec.
– Afin d’éviter des dommages irréversibles à l’écrin rotatif, il est
important de ne pas l’exposer à l’eau, à l’humidité, au feu ou à des
sources de chaleur importantes telles que des radiateurs ou dans
un véhicule stationné en plein soleil. Le rayonnement direct du soleil
ainsi que les sources importantes de rayons UV peuvent dégrader
les couleurs des laques, des polymères, des bois ou des cuirs. Les
endroits soumis à des vibrations oscillantes ainsi que les endroits
sablonneux ou poussiéreux peuvent également endommager le bon
fonctionnement de l’écrin rotatif.
– L’écrin rotatif est conçu pour une utilisation normale comprise
dans une plage de température située entre 10° et 40°C. (50°F et
104°F). L’utilisation de l’écrin dans des basses températures peut
sensiblement diminuer la durée de vie des piles.
– L’écrin rotatif n’est pas un jouet, nous recommandons donc de le
ranger hors de la portée des enfants.

– L’écrin rotatif ainsi que les piles neuves ou usagées ne doivent pas
être traités avec les déchets ménagers. Ces éléments doivent
être remis à un point de collecte approprié pour le recyclage des
équipements électriques, électroniques et des piles. En s’assurant
que ces produits sont bien mis aux rebuts de manière appropriée,
les conséquences potentiellement négatives pour l’environnement
et la santé humaine sont préservées. Le recyclage des matériaux
aidera à conserver les ressources naturelles. Pour toute information
supplémentaire au sujet du recyclage de ce produit, il est conseillé
de se rapprocher de sa commune de résidence, déchetterie ou du
magasin où le produit a été acheté.
4. Guide de dépannage
En cas d’arrêt ou de mauvais fonctionnement de l’écrin rotatif, il est
recommandé de contrôler dans l’ordre, les points suivants :
1. Vérifier que l’interrupteur soit correctement positionné sur ON
(position à droite). (Partie 2.d du mode d’emploi)
2. Vérifier que les piles soient correctement positionnées (polarité des
piles +/- respectée). Vérifier également que le couvercle des piles
soit en contact avec les piles, la propreté des contacts et que la vis
de fixation soit correctement revissée. (Partie 2.f du mode d’emploi)
3. Si la panne persiste, remplacer les piles par des piles neuves. (Partie
2.f du mode d’emploi)
4. Si la panne persiste ou si le voyant lumineux de couleur rouge clignote
à un intervalle régulier de trois impulsions rapprochées toutes les 5
secondes, indiquant un dysfonctionnement du système de comptage
de tours, veuillez retourner l’écrin rotatif dans une boutique ou un
détaillant Vacheron Constantin, muni de la facture d’achat de la
montre.

5. Conditions de garantie
L’écrin rotatif est garanti pour une durée de 3 ans à partir de la date d’achat
mentionnée sur la facture contre tout défaut de fabrication.
Ne sont pas pris en charge par la garantie :
– Les dommages dus à l’usure normale du produit, tels que des raies,
griffures, marques, coupures, altérations des couleurs, etc.
– Les dommages causés par une mauvaise utilisation ou une utilisation
inappropriée du produit tels que mauvaise polarité des piles, piles non
conformes, mauvaise manipulation de l’écrin, chocs, casse, etc.
Les dommages causés par une utilisation de l’écrin dans un mauvais
environnement tels que lieux humides, exposition à l’eau, à des vibrations ou
à des sources de chaleur importantes, etc.
Si les défauts constatés sont dus à des causes qui ne sont pas prises en
charge par la garantie, un devis estimatif concernant les frais de réparation
vous sera communiqué dans les meilleurs délais.
Vacheron Constantin ne peut en aucun cas être tenu responsable pour des
dégâts causés par une utilisation inappropriée de l’écrin rotatif, pour des
dégâts causés aux montres, ainsi qu’à tous autres biens ou personnes.

1. General specifications
is rotating box was specially conceived for the storage and winding of nearly
all self-winding watches available on the market. It is programmed to carry
out a cycle of 1600 revolutions/day, or 800 rotations/day in each direction of
rotation.
Manufactured in Switzerland, the rotating box was made using the finest
quality materials. e direct mechanical drive, as well as the electronic card
that counts a fixed number of 800 rotations/day, were developed and tested
with modern and innovative technologies. ese give it great reliability and a
long operating life.

a. Bluetooth quick start
To connect the rotating box to your smartphone via Bluetooth:
1. Download the Swiss Kubik application on your smartphone.
2. Once the application has been installed, position the switch to ON (to
the right) to turn on the rotating box.
3. Select the rotating box, now detectable on the Swiss Kubik application.
4. Congratulations! Your smartphone is now connected to your rotating
box.
5. Optional: Rename the watch if needed, directly on your smartphone.
b. Positioning the rotating box
IMPORTANT: During use, the rotating box must imperatively be in the correct
position (vertical watch), as shown in the images below.

c. Mounting and removing the watch from the holder
To place the watch on the rotating box holder (III):
1. Position the switch (I) to off (to the left) (Fig. A).
2. Remove the watch holder (III) from the rotating box and place the
watch on the holder with the strap closed (Fig. B). e two watch
holders (III) supplied with the rotating box make it possible to adapt to
different strap lengths.
3. Reposition the holder with the watch in the vertical position (Fig. C) in
the rotating cylinder (IV) pressing it to the stop.
To take the watch off of the rotating box holder (III):
1. Position the switch (I) to off (to the left) (Fig. A).
2. Remove the watch holder (III) with the watch from the rotating box and
take the watch off the stand (III) by compressing it or opening the strap.
3. Reposition the stand (III) (Fig. C) in the rotating cylinder (IV) pressing
it to the stop.

When the switch is in the on position (positioned to the right), a coloured
indicator light in the switch flashes red and green for a few seconds, to indicate
the initialisation phase.
e watch then performs 95 cycles of 20 rotations (10 clockwise and 10
anti-clockwise), for a total of 1600 rounds every 24 hours. Between each
rotation cycle, the watch stand automatically stops in its initial vertical position.

Correct operation:
In the STANDARD setting, the rotating box’s correct operation is indicated by a
green (or red depending on the battery status) indicator light (II) flashing at a
regular interval of one pulse every 5 seconds or so.
In the CUSTOM setting, correct operation of the rotary box is indicated by a
green (or red depending on the battery status) indicator light (II) flashing at a
regular interval of two pulses, approximately every 5 seconds.
Malfunction:
A malfunction of the revolution counting system will be indicated by a red
indicator light (II) flashing at a steady interval of three pulses, approximately
every 5 seconds. (Additional information in part 4).
N.B.: In the event of a low battery charge, the indicator light (II) will flash red
depending on the operating mode selected. e batteries must then be
replaced within 3 months.
f. Batteries
IMPORTANT:
– In order to guarantee the correct operation of the rotating box, it is
recommended to always replace the 2 batteries at the same time by
new batteries of the same type.
– Rechargeable batteries must not be used.

To replace the batteries:
1. Unscrew the battery cover using a coin and remove it (Fig. A).
2. Remove the old batteries and put the two new batteries in the slots
provided for this purpose (Fig. B). IMPORTANT: Make sure to respect
the +/- polarities when positioning the new batteries so as not to
damage the rotating box.
3. Reposition the battery cover and screw it back in with a coin (Fig. C).

3. Precautions of use
– It is recommended that you regularly clean/dust the rotating box with
a soft, slightly damp cloth and then wipe it with a dry cloth.
– In order to avoid irreversible damage to the rotating box, it is important
not to expose it to water, moisture, fire or other important heat
sources such as radiators or in a parked vehicle in broad daylight. Direct
sunlight and major sources of UV rays can fade the colours of lacquers,
polymers, woods or leathers. Areas subject to oscillating vibrations,
as well as sandy or dusty areas, can also damage the rotating box’s
operation.
– e rotating box is designed for normal use within a temperature range
of 10°C to 40°C (50°F and 104°F). Use of the box in low temperatures
can significantly reduce battery life.
– e rotating box is not a toy. We therefore recommend storing it out of
the reach of children.
– e rotating box, as well as new or used batteries, should not be
disposed of with household waste. ese items must be returned to
an appropriate collection point for electrical, electronic and battery
equipment recycling. By ensuring that these products are disposed of

properly, potentially negative consequences for the environment and
human health are prevented. Recycling materials will help conserve
natural resources. For any additional information about recycling this
product, we advise contacting your municipality of residence, garbage
collection or the store where the product was purchased.
4. Troubleshooting guide
In the event the rotating box stops or malfunctions, it is recommended that the
following points be checked in this order:
1. Verify that the switch is correctly positioned to ON (position to the
right). (Part 2.d of the user guide)
2. Verify that the batteries are correctly positioned (+/- battery polarity
respected). Also verify that the battery cover is in contact with the
batteries, the contacts are clean and that the holding screw is correctly
screwed down. (Part 2.f of the user guide)
3. If the malfunction persists, replace the batteries with new batteries.
(Part 2.f of the user guide)
4. Ifthemalfunctionpersists or if the red indicator light flashes at asteady
interval of three pulses every 5 seconds, indicating a malfunction of
the revolution counting system, please return the rotating box to a
Vacheron Constantin store or retailer, along with the purchase invoice
for the watch.

5. Warranty conditions
e rotating box is guaranteed for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase
mentioned on the invoice against any manufacturing defect.
Not covered by the warranty are:
– Damages due to normal wear and tear of the product, such as cracks,
scratches, marks, cuts, colour changes, etc.
– Damages caused by misuse or improper use of the product such as
incorrect battery polarity, non-compliant batteries, mishandling of the
case, shocks, breakage, etc.
Damages caused by the use of the box in a harmful environment such as wet
places, exposure to water, vibrations or significant heat sources, etc.
If the defects are due to causes that are not covered by the warranty, an
estimate of repair costs will be communicated to you as soon as possible.
Vacheron Constantin cannot be held responsible for damages caused by
improper use of the rotating box, damages to watches or to any other property
or person.
