Before installing the software, please make sure that your computer uses a WIN 7
system without any other program. For successful installation, please confirm the
following:
□No program is installed and no other program is running.
□No anti-virus software is installed.
□There is no program, like netmeeting software and remote software, to stop port 80.
□The computer for software installation and the printing system are in the same
network.
□You will need two static IP addresses and 1 network cable.
□Please confirm that you have LAN user account and administrator permissions.
Please make sure that you operate according to the order of the steps. If any
step is lost, the software will not be installed successfully and reinstallation
may be needed.

Chapter I Safety Precautions
1-1 Safety attentions
1. The following are the four basic rules for safety operation which must be followed by operators:
(1) Only trained personnel can operate or repair this machine.
(2) The operation manual must be read carefully and make sure its content is well understood.
(3) Please keep the operation manual near the machine for convenient review.
(4) Both the operator and service personnel shall be aware of the position of the emergency
switch and its functions and operation method.
2. Attentions before and after the machine starts:
Please confirm first if all the buttons on the control panel are turned off, and if the earthing wire is
correctly connected.
AC power
The power of this machine is single-phase 220V. The rated current of the external power cut-off device is
20 ampere and shall conform to safety standard.
3. Attentions for transportation and installation:
To increase the efficiency of this machine, the place where it is installed shall be well ventilated, with
good air quality and ambient temperature no higher than 40 degrees.
The machine shall be away from rain or direct sunshine.
The followingare attentions for transportation and installation
(1) Please confirm that the ground is strong enough to support the machine.
(2) In case of transportation by crane, only one person is allowed to operate.
(3) In case of transportation by crane, no one is allowed to stand under or near the machine.
(4) During transportation, installation or cleaning process, safety helmet is a must to protect
your head.
(5) If one must climb the machine, please use safe and solid ladder or platform.
(6) Please use proper hoisting equipment to lift heavy items.
(7) Please confirm the sling is strong enough to lift the machine or item.
(8) Before transportation or installation, please turn off the power and let others know the
location of the emergency switch in advance.
(9) Please wear leather gloves or similar protective device in transportation, installation or
cleaning process.
4. Attentions in operation:
During operation, non-operators are not allowed to come near the control panel. The operator
must be familiar with the functions and operation methods of the control panel.
The followingare attentions in operation
(1) Do not remove any safety shield and safety measures.
(2) Do not remove or change the position of interlocking mechanism.
(3) Do not touch the switch with wet hand.
(4) Do not put any part of your body on or near the moving parts of the machine.
(5) Please make sure your hair is away from the moving parts of the machine.
(6) Do not wear bracelet, watch, jewelry or baggy clothes.
(7) In principle, this machine can only be operated by one person. If more operators are needed,
there must be good communication among operators.
5. Attentions for maintenance and repair:

The power shall be tuned off before maintenance or repair.
The followingare attentions for maintenance and repair
(1) Before maintenance or inspection, please turn off the main power.
(2) If power-on maintenance or inspection is necessary, it must be done by authorized electrical
technicians.
(3) No one is allowed to climb the machine.
(4) For lubrication, please use the oil or grease of the brand stipulated by our company.

1-3 Safety attentions
Do not damage or replace the original power cable
arbitrarily. The power cable cannot be overbended,
pulled, bundled or put under heavy items.
These behaviors many cause damage to the power,
causing electric shock or fire.
If the machine is not in use for a long time, please
unplug the power cable from the socket.
Otherwise, it may cause fire.
During operation, do not put your hands on the main
shaft.
This may cause injury.
To unplug the power cable from the socket, pull the
plug instead of the cable.
Pulling the cable may cause electric shock or fire.

Chapter II Transportation and Installation
2-1 Case handling
Use forklift truck with carrying capacity of more than 1 ton to carry wooden case.
2-2 Packing and unpacking
Packing
Before packing, fix the four wheels of the machine first and put the machine on mat to prevent sliding.
Unpacking
Carry out the steps of packing in reverse order.
2-3 Working conditions
Temperature: 20~28 ℃

2-4 Machine handling
The machine shall be carried by two persons. One is pushing at the back of the machine and the other is in front
of it to control the moving direction.

2-4 Installation steps
1. Put the machine one a flat ground.
2. Use a pallet jack to lift the machine and put it one four feet.
3. Use a level gauge to measure the top of the four feet to make sure the machine is placed horizontally.
4. Connect the gas pump pipe to the right side of the machine. Note: Diameter of gas pump pipe is
8mm
5. There are two cooling pipes behind the machine, one is connected to the gas pump and the other is
for gas outlet. Please adjust the pressure regulating valve to control air flow. (Note: In case of water
cooling, insert one cooling pipe in the water inlet of the water cooler and inset the other pipe in the
water outlet)

3-1 Functions
Color DLP VP320C digital printing system is developed for label printing and is suitable for large and small volume
printing. It can meet your various printing demands with variable data in short lead time. VP-320 digital label printing
system is suitable for label printing and other web-fed printing requirements. More applications will be developed and
you can use it with your creativity.
Materials suitable for printing
Sticker, PP synthesized paper, al-plastic film, PET, PVC, white cardboard paper, coated paper and flexible
materials.
(Other materials are subject to specific test. Untested materials may not be suitable for printing)

Chapter IV Preparations
4-1: Installation of materials

Please refer to above flow chart for materials installation. Please install materials in the direction of the arrow
(see Picture 4-1). Install the material in the middle (see picture 4-2). Open unwinding and rewinding rollers
(see Picture 4-3). Pass the paper manually through the tension system and open the side door and engine door
A. Pass the engine door A and cooling system (see Picture 4-4) in the print engine along the red path. Close the
engine door A in the side door (not too tightly) and pass the material to the tension system to put the material
under the Rewinding roller. After conveying the material to the recycling shaft, install the material on the
recycling shaft and press down the unwinding and rewinding rollers. Turn on the main power.

Pull the material down the side door and it will return to the rewinding roller till the material is straight. The
original installation position must be precise to prevent inclination and the tension shall be adjusted. Close
engine door A and turn on main power for the engine (see Picture 4-5). Then turn on the secondary power for
the engine (see Picture 4-6) Note: For turning off the machine, turn off the power in reverse order!

Screen
It displays the status, menu items and information of the printer.
When the printer is powered on, there will be [please wait...] on the
screen. When [ready for printing] is showed on the screen, you can
start printing.
When using the card verification function, it will display the verified
user identification for about 2 seconds.
In save power mode, there will be nothing on the screen, even when
the printer is powered on.

<save power> key
This key will be on when the printer is in save power mode.
Press this key and the printer will exit save power mode.
In idle, press this key and the printer will enter save power mode
(low power consumption mode).
P.S.
If you turn off the printer in save power mode, this key will be on for
another few seconds.

Ink powder color screen
The color of the remaining ink powder will be displayed on the
screen.

<printing menu> key
Press this key to print the files stored in the server, for example,
confidential printing, sample printing and timed printing.
P.S.
To use this function, you must install some hard disk components.
Without these components, use the RAM disk.
The available printing functions are subject to your environment.
About the available printer functions, please refer to “control panel
menu”.

<specification setting> key
Press this key to show menu page.

Press this key to pause printing.

<up><down><left><right> keys
Press this key to go to the next menu, item or selection.
P.S.
When you use <up> and <down> to change current setting, press one
key and you can switch quickly among available settings. To display
the set default value, please press these two keys at the same time.

<OK> key
Press this key to confirm your selections on the menu page. This key
is also used to print report/list.

<return> key
In menu page, press this key to return the last page.

Overview
In case of any error, it is used to identify the indicated position in the
error message.

<online> key
Press <online> key to switch the printer to offline state, in which
case, <ready for printing> light will be off and the printer cannot
print anymore. Press this key again and the printer will go back to the
online state (ready for printing).

When there is an “i” icon on the screen, press this key to show details

Chapter VI Software Installation and Instructions
6-1: Presetting IP address for the first time
To connect withColor DLP VP320C, you need to prepare two static IP addresses in local area network
and two network cables, one for the printer and the other for PC.
Note: IP address, subnet mask and gateway address are subject to network environment. On how to set the address,
please consult your network administrator.
1. On engine control panel, press <specification setting> to show menu page.
2. Press <down> till the [administrator menu] appears. P.S. if you skip the item you want to select, please
press <up> to return to the item.
3. Press <right> or <OK> to select and show [network/port setting]. P.S. if you press the <right> or <OK>
key on unwanted item, please press <left> or <return> to return. If you want to start from the beginning,
please press <specification setting>.
4. Press <right> or <OK> to select and show [LPD]. Press <down> till it appears [TCP/IP setting].
5. Press <right> or <OK> to select and show [IP mode]. Press <down> till it appears [IPv4 setting].
6. Press <right> or <OK> to select and show [IP address obtaining method]. Press <right> or <OK> to
select ands show current set value. Press <down> till it shows [manual]. Press <OK> to confirm your
selection. If it shows [000.000.000.000], please go to step 8.
7. Press <left> or <return> to return to the [IP address obtain method]. Press <down> to show [IP address].
Press <left> or <OK> to select and show current IP address.
8. Use <up> or <down> and input value in the first space (for example: 192), and then press <left>. Input
the left space in the same way. After completion of the last (the 4th) space (for example: 192.168.0.200),
please press <OK> to confirm your input.
9. If you need to set subnet mask and default gateway, please <return> and go to step 18. If your need to
finish the setting, please go to step 12.
10. Press <down> till it shows <subnet mask> and select by pressing <right> or <OK> to show current
subnet mask. Input subnet mask in the same way with that of the IP address (for example: 255.255.255.000)
and then press <OK> to confirm your input. Press <return> to return to the [subnet mask].
11. Press <down> till it shows <gateway address> and select by pressing <right> or <OK> to show current
gateway address. Input gateway address in the same way with that of the IP address (for example:
192.168.0.1) and then press <OK> to confirm your input.
12. The setting is down. Press <specification setting> to close the menu, and the printing engine will restart
automatically.
13. Record this IP address and you need to input this IP address for installation of the software.

6-2: Installation of LPU software
Operating environment preparation: operating system: Windows7/10 64bit; the whole LUP includes the following
software:
1. Adobe Reader XI 11.0.2
2. gs920w32.exe
3. install.bat
4. FontPack11009_XtdAlf_Lang
5. LPUInstaller (see Picture 6-2, 6-3)
