1.2 Warn- und Sicherheitshinweise / Warnings and Safety Instructions
•VEIT Bügler 2129 nur am Handgriff halten.
•Den VEIT Bügler 2129 nie auf temperaturempfindliche oder
brennbare Oberflächen abstellen. Brandgefahr! Nur die dafür
vorgesehenen Abstellmöglichkeiten verwenden.
•Berührung mit der heißen Büglersohle vermeiden.
•Dampfaustrittsstrahl niemals auf Personen richten.
•Nicht in den Dampfaustrittsstrahl greifen.
•Beim Kontrollieren der Dampfaustrittslöcher auf
Verschmutzung VEIT Bügler 2129 elektrisch ausschalten,
damit beim versehentlichen Drücken des Kontaktknopfes
kein Dampf in die Augen sprühen kann.
•Den eingeschalteten Bügler nie ohne Aufsicht lassen!
•Reparaturarbeiten nur durch unsere Fachkräfte ausführen
lassen.
•Vor Öffnen des Gerätes Anschlusskabel und Dampfleitung
ausstecken.
•Anschlusskabel regelmäßig auf Beschädigung überprüfen.
Spröde oder beschädigte Kabel sofort auswechseln lassen.
•Es dürfen nur von VEIT zugelassene Zubehör- und
Ersatzteile verwendet werden.
•Das Bügeleisen mit VEIT-Stecker ist für den Betrieb mit
VEIT-Dampferzeuger ausgelegt. Bei der Verwendung eines
anderen Dampferzeuger-Fabrikats ist unbedingt der
Schaltplan zu beachten.
•Take the VEIT Iron 2129 only at the handle.
•Don’t place the VEIT Iron 2129 on surfaces, which are
sensitive to heat or combustible. Danger of fire! Use only
the rests provided.
•Don’t touch the iron soleplate!
•Don´t point the steam outlet on other persons.
•Don´t grip in the steam outlet.
•Switch off the electric power supply of the VEIT iron 2129
when checking its steam outlets for dirt so that no steam
can be sprayed into your eyes if the button is actuated by
inadvertently.
•Don’t leave the iron unattended while it is connected!
•Faults must only be repaired by authorized personnel.
•Disconnect the connection cable and the steam line, before
opening the unit.
•Check regularly if the connection cable is damaged.
Replace any brittle or damaged cables immediately.
•Use only VEIT spare parts and accessories.
•The steam iron provided with a VEIT connector is designed
for operation with a VEIT steam boiler. When using a steam
boiler of a different manufacturer, it is essential to observe
the circuit diagram.
1.3 Aufbauanleitung / Assembly Instructions
Das Anschlusskabel des VEIT Büglers 2129 wird mit dem 4-
poligen VEIT –Stecker / - Vierkant - Stecker am Dampfgeber
(Kondensor, Steamadapter oder Dampferzeuger)
angeschlossen.
Bei Anschluss mit Vierkant-Stecker unbedingt Schaltplan (Seite
10) beachten!
Der VEIT Bügler 2129 wird auf den Abstellplatz gestellt.
Der Hochdruckdampfschlauch darf nur mit Schlauchtülle
Dm5x33 mit Kugelnippel und Überwurfmutter 3/8“ mit dem
Dampfgeber verbunden werden.
Der zulässige Dampfdruck darf 5 bar nicht überschreiten.
The power cable of the VEIT Iron 2129 has to be connected with
the 4-core plug to the steam supply (either condensor, steam
adapter or steam boiler).
Connection with square plug: please note the circuit diagram
(page 10).
Place the VEIT iron 2129 onto the iron rest.
Connect the high pressure steam hose only with hose nozzle
Dm5x33 with spheric nipple and 3/8” union nut at the steam
supply.
The admissible steam pressure must not exceed 5 bars.

1.4 Inbetriebnahme / Starting Operation
•Temperaturregler-Drehknopf unter dem Büglergriff auf die
gewünschte Temperatur stellen.
Durch Drehen nach rechts (im Uhrzeigersinn) wird die
Temperatur erhöht, durch Drehen nach links (entgegen
Uhrzeigersinn) wird sie verringert.
•Geräteschalter an Dampfversorgungseinheit einschalten.
Der Bügler beginnt aufzuheizen.
•Die Aufheizzeit beträgt ca. 4 Minuten.
•Turn temperature selection knob (under iron handle) to
temperature required.
Turning to the right (clockwise) will increase the
temperature, turning to the left (anticlockwise) will reduce
the temperature.
•Actuate the main switch at the steam supply unit. The iron
starts heating.
•The heating time is approx.4 minutes.

Die Dampfabgabe wird durch Daumendruck auf den im Handgriff
eingebauten Kontakter ausgelöst. Sie sollte in kurzen Intervallen
unterbrochen werden, damit nicht unnötig viel Dampf in das
Bügelgut gelangt, was das Bügelergebnis verschlechtert. Es
reicht aus, die vorgewählte Temperatur nur dann zu verändern,
wenn stark unterschiedliches Bügelgut zu verarbeiten ist.
Dampf und Stromverbrauch sind abhängig:
- vom persönlichen Arbeitsrhythmus
- von den Absaugleistungen und -zeiten des Bügeltisches
- von der Dampfversorgung und
- von der Verwendung von Büglersohlen (Antiglanz- oder
Sicherheitssohlen), welche die Kontakttemperatur zum
Bügelgut vermindern.
Zu Arbeitsbeginn und nach Pausen von mehr als 5 Minuten
empfiehlt es sich, zunächst den Dampf frei abzublasen, um
eventuell im Schlauch gebildetes Kondensat auszusprühen.
Insbesondere bei niedrig eingestellter Temperatur sollte
dies beachtet werden.
Steam is released by pressing the contactor incorporated in the
handle with the thumb. Short pauses are advisable as excessive
steam on the garments can lead to poor finishing results. Only
change the set temperature when the fabric of the garment is
different to the one in current use.
The steam and current consumption depends upon
- the individual working rhythm
- the suction power and times of the ironing table
- the steam supply
- using iron soles (anti-shine or safety iron soles) which
reduce the contact temperature.
Steam release is advised - especially when operating at low
temperatures - on starting operation and after breaks of
more than 5 minutes to remove any condensate from the
steam hose.

1.6 Pausen und Außerbetriebnahme / Breaks and Finishing Operation
Das Gerät darf nicht unbeobachtet gelassen werden, solange es
am Netz angeschlossen ist. Um jede Gefahr auszuschließen,
sollte der VEIT Bügler 2129 am Geräteschalter der
Dampfversorgungseinheit ausgeschaltet werden. Dadurch
sparen Sie auch Energie.
Do not leave the VEIT Iron 2129 unattended while it is
connected. Switch off main switch at the steam supply unit, thus
avoiding any danger and saving energy.
1.7 Pflege / Maintenance
Staub und Faserrückstände in Verbindung mit Wärme und
Dampf führen zu Verschmutzungen und Verkrustungen, die Sie
täglich entfernen sollten. Zur gründlichen Reinigung empfehlen
wir unser seit Jahren bewährtes Bügler-Pflegeprogramm.
Hinweise:
- Der VEIT Bügler 2129 darf nur im abgekühlten Zustand
gereinigt werden.
- Vor der Reinigung immer das Anschlusskabel abstecken.
- Bei Verwendung eines Spezialreinigungsmittels, dessen
Sicherheitshinweise beachten.
Due to dust and fluffs of fabrics combined with heat and steam it
cannot be avoided that the iron becomes dirty and encrusted.
Therefore, daily cleaning of the iron is advisable. For intensive
cleaning we recommend the VEIT range of cleaning products.
Note:
- Clean the VEIT Iron 2129 only when it is cooled down.
- Before cleaning plug off the connection wire.
- If you use a special spotting agent, note its safety
guidelines.
1.8 Garantie / Warranty
Für den VEIT Bügler 2129 leisten wir eine 12-monatige
Garantie.
Die Garantie bezieht sich nicht auf normalen Verschleiß. Der
Garantieanspruch erlischt bei unsachgemäßer Behandlung oder
Handhabung, ebenso wie bei unsachgemäßem oder
unerlaubtem Selbsteingriff. Die Garantieleistung beinhaltet keine
Transportkosten.
12 months warranty is guaranteed for the VEIT iron 2129.
We cannot grant warranty for normal wear and tear. Any inexpert
handling, inexpert or unauthorized repair will result in loss of
warranty. Delivery charges are not included in said warranty.

Büglerreparaturen erfolgen ausschließlich in unserem
Reparaturbetrieb.

Hinweise:
Wenn die Netzanschlussleitung beschädigt ist, muss sie
durch den VEIT Kundendienst oder eine gleichwertig
qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu
vermeiden. Eine beschädigte Anschlussleitung darf nur
durch die Original VEIT-Anschlussleitung ersetzt werden,
siehe Ersatzteilliste.
