Notethefollowingwhenchoosingagrillingspot:
Skoanditsindividualpartscanheatuptoveryhightemperatures,
soyoushouldnotmovethegrillduringuse.Beforelighngthegrill,
youshouldconsidercarefullyifthegrillingspotmeetsthesafety
requirements.
PutSkoonaatandstablesurfaceandmakesurethatthereis
enoughspace(atleast5cm)betweenSkoandthesurfaceitison.
Otherwise,unlitgascanescapethroughtheboomofthegrill.This
cancauseanexplosion.
IfSkoissinkingorleaningonsand,snow,ice,orunevensurfaces,put
apieceofwoodorrockundertheedgesinthestandstobalanceit.
Followtheassemblyinstrucons.IfSkoisimproperlysetup,you
placeyourselfandothersatanunpredictablerisk.
5.2 SengupSko
TosetupSko,proceedasfollows:
1� Takeonelongsidepanel(6)withtheSkologo
onitandslidetheshortfootpanel(5)withthe
honeycomb-shapedholeontoitatthecorre-
spondingslits.Bothpanelshaveasmalltriangle
markattheslits.
2� Slottheotherlongsidepanel(6)ontothefoot
panel(5)attheslimslitsonthesidewiththe
Skologo.
3� Slidetheboompanel(8)intothethree-sided
structure,pointedsidedown.Makesurethatthe
hooksandtabsareatanequalheightwiththe
slitsandthesmoothedgeofthepanelisfacing
you�
4� Slidethehooksintotheslitsonthesidepanels(6).
5� Slidethetabsintotheslitsonthefoodpanel(5).

(5)tosupportthehooksonthesideandslideboth
tabsatthefrontoftheboompanelintothecor-

7� Taketheburnerpipe(3)atthesqueezedendand
hookitintothehorizontal3cm-longslotabove
thehoneycomb-shapedholeatasteepangleand
withthetabfacingupward.
8� Carefullyresttheburnerpipe(3)ontheboom
plate(8).
9� Placethebaeplate(2)ontotheburnerpipe(3).
Itshouldlooklikearooopoverthepipe.
10� Slidethetabsoftheperforatedsideintothetwo
slantedslitsofthefootpanel(5).
11� Letthebaeplate(2)restalileontheboom
panel (8)�
12� Taketheheadpanel(7)andslidetheroundendof
theburnerpipe(3)throughtheroundholeofthe
headpanel(7).Thecurvatureoftheheadpanel
shouldbeontheinsideofthegrill.
13� Litheheadpanel(7)andslotthetwotabson
thebaeplate(2)ontothecorrespondingslanted
slitsoftheheadpanel.
14� Droptheheadpanel(7)intoplace,withtheslits

1� PlaceSkoinfrontofyou,withtheroundendof
theburnerpipe(3)poinngtotheright.
2� Takethegrillrack(1)withtheSkologoonthe
boomright.
3� Insertthegrillrack(1)intothecorrespondingslots
ontherightside.
4� Lettherack(1)slideintotheslotsontheleside.
5� Carefullypullthegrillrack(1)backatthetabs,
towardstheright.

stable.

6.1 Checkbeforeignion
Toperformsecuritychecksbeforeignion,proceedasfollows:
1� Verifythattheburnerpipeisnotclogged.Unclogitbeforeusing
Sko.
2� Makesurethatthegasketandthegashoseworkproperly.
3� Do not lightSkoduringleaktests.
4� Useasoapywatersoluoninasprayboletotest.
5� SpraythesoluonontothehoseandtheconnectorsbetweenSko
andthegascartridge.
6� Openthegasregulator.
¨Ifthereareanyleaks,smallbubbleswillappearatleakingspots.
7� Ifthereisaleak,turntheregulatorscrewtotherightandtakethe
gascartridgeo( )� Do notoperateSko.
8� Beforeusingthegrill,makesureallpartsareputtogetherproperly.
9� Beforeignion,cleangreaseorotherresidueothegrill.Grease
resarehazardousandshouldbeavoided.

`TakecareofyourselfandyourclotheswhenlighngSko.During
preheangorifSkoand/orthegascartridgeareshakenvigorously,
liquidgascanescapeandcauseshoongames.Longandloosehair
orwideclothingcanquicklycatchre.
TolightSko,proceedasfollows:
1� Slightlyunscrewthegasregulatoronthegascartridgetothele
unlyouhearthegasowing.
2� Aer1-2seconds,usealighterormatchtoignitethegasinthe
burnerpipethroughthehoneycomb-shapedignionandamecon-
trolholelocatedonthefootpanel.
Possibleriskofexplosion,reanddeadlyinjuriesduetogas
`If,duetowindorotherfactorssuchasafaultylighter,match,etc.,
youarenotabletoignitethegasintheburnerpipewithin4sec-
onds,stoptheprocess.
`Tightentheregulatorscrewbyturningitclockwise( )�

WhenyouoperateSkowithgas,youcanputitonthecarrierbag.It
cancatchrun-downgrease,whichcanthenbewipedoconveniently.
AlwayspreheatSkobeforegrilling.Skocandothatreallyfast.Inonly
2minutes,youcanstartgrilling.
Skodoesnothaveagaspressurereduconregulator.Wedeliberately
decidednottoputone.
Theareaaroundtheignionandamecontrolisoenlesshot,so
youcankeepgrilledfoodwarmorputfoodtherethatneedslessheat.
Dependingonthewindandweathercondions,thisareamaybe
warmerorcooler.Justgiveitatry.
Usewinterorpowergasattemperaturesbelow10°C.Itowseasier
evenatlowertemperaturesduetotheproperesofthecartridgeand
thegasmixture.
7 Whenthingsgowrong
Gasintheburnerpipewillnotignite.
Avoiddirectwind.
Tryaworkinglighterormatch.
Aerdisconnecngthegasregulator,checkifthereisgasinthegas
cartridge.
Thetemperaturedistribuonisuneven.
PlaceSkoawayfromthewind.
Skodoesnotproducethenormalamountofheat.
Attemperaturesbelow10°C,usewinterorpowergas(availablefrom
dierentmanufacturers).
Yellowamesareshoongoutfromunderthebaeplate.
Reducethegasbyturningtheregulatordown,totheright.
Thereareshoongames.
NeverputaluminumfoilontoSko.
Thegrillchambermightbedirty.Pleasecleanit.

1� Makesurethatthegasiso,withthescrewturnedtotheright,and
thepartshavecooleddown.
2� Disconnectthegascartridgeformthegasregulator.
3� Turnthegasnozzlecounterclockwisetoseparateitfromtheround
endofSko’sburnerpipe(3).
4� PosionyourselfinfrontofSkosothattheroundendofthe
burnerpipe(3)pointstotheright.
5� Usebothofyourindexngerstolibothtabs(thoseintheleslits)
fromthegrillrack(1).
6� Carefullymovethegrillrack(1)totheleandliitupalileatthe
sameme.
¨Thegrillisnowunlocked.
7� Litheheadpanel(7)withtheroundendoftheburnerpipe(3)
facingupwardsanddisconnectitfromthebaeplate(2)andthe
burnerpipe.
8� Pullthebaeplate(2)fromtheslotsofthefootpanel(5).
9� Litheburnerpipe(3)fromtheroundendandcarefullyunhookthe
squeezedendatasteepanglefromtheslotinthefootpanel(5).
10� Pulltheboompanel(8)awayfromthefoot(5)andsidepanels(6)
andplacethedirtysideonthegrillrack(1).
11� Pulltheboompanel(8)awayfromthelongsidepanels(6)andthe
footpanel(5).
12� Pullthelongsidepanels(6)fromthefootpanel(5).

CleaningSko
YoucanputallSkoparts,excepttheburnerpipeandthegashose
withthenozzleandregulator,inthedishwasher.TheSkobagcangoin
theretoo.Thismakescleaningfastandeasy.
Beforecleaning,checkifthecleaningdetergentsareappropriatefor
useonstainlesssteelsurfaces.Ifnot,theymaycausescratches.
Dishwashercleaningdoesnotworkwellforcaked-ongreaseorfood.
Soakthesepartsinthesinkbeforewashing.
TogetSkocleanagain,werecommendusingsteelwoolsoappads
forstainlesssteelsurfacesorothergrillandovencleaners.Theywill
giveyoutheeasiestcleanatthelowestpriceandSkowillshine
again.
Whencleaningthevalveandtheburnerpipe,donotwidenthenoz-
zlesortheroundendoftheburnerpipe.
Onlycleantheburnerpipeifthegashoseiso.Ifnot,thegasnozzle
cangetclogged.
Ifthenozzleholesoftheburnerpipeclogalileoverme,useacop-
perbrushtocleanthemgentlyandshakeoutthetubewiththeopen
endfacingtheground.
MaintainingSko
Every3monthsyouneedtotakecareofyourSkotokeepitinopmal
condion.
Checktheinsideoftheburnerpipeandcleanitifitisdirtyor
clogged.
Checkthegashoseandreplaceitifitisdamagedorleaking.
Checkthegasketsandreplacethemiftheyaredamagedorwornout.

ingtotheseinstrucons,andif,aerourassessment,wendoutthat
thedeviceoritsindividualpartsarereallyfaulty.Wewillthenrepairor
replacethedeviceorindividualfaultypartsforfree.Pleasegetintouch
withusimmediatelyincaseofcomplaints.
Toleacomplaint,youwillneedtoprovideproofofpurchase(soplease
keepthereceipt!)andawriendescriponoftheproblemyourSkois
having.Ifweaskyoutoreturnthefaultyparts,youwillcovertheship-
pingcosts.Wewillsendtherepairedorreplacedpartsbacktoyouand
wewillcovertheshippingcosts.

thelocalmunicipalauthoriescangiveyouadviceonthis.
