Applicazione
La macchina è destinata solamente al taglio di prati deco-
rativi, es. bordi. Qualsiasi altro uso o eventuale utilizzo al
di fuori di quanto sopra, quale il taglio di sterpaglie e siepi
o vaste aree di prato, è considerato utilizzo improprio. Il
produttore / fornitore non è responsabile per danni deri-
vanti da un tale utilizzo. Il rischio è solamente a carico
dell’utente. Un utilizzo appropriato include anche il rispet-
to del manuale d’uso e la conformità alle condizioni di
controllo e manutenzione.
Conservare sempre il manuale d’uso a portata di mano
vicino a dove viene utilizzata la macchina!
Rischi residui
Anche se il dispositivo viene usato opportunamente, resta
comunque un rischio residuo che non può essere elimina-
to. Dato il tipo e il progetto del dispositivo, si possono
verificare i seguenti pericoli potenziali:
-Contatto con la parte scoperta del filo di taglio (lesione
da taglio)
-Contatto con il filo di taglio durante il funzionamento
(taglio)
-Contatto con le parti sporgenti del filo di taglio, mate-
riale di taglio e altri materiali (lesione da taglio, trauma
contusivo)
-Perdita dell’udito qualora non venga usata la cuffia ri-
chiesta durante le ore di lavoro (perdita dell’udito)
-Contatto con la corrente elettrica a causa di un cavo di
alimentazione difettoso o tagliato (scossa elettrica)
-Emissioni dannose di materiale tagliato e frammenti
tagliati.
Se non vengono rispettate le istruzioni contenute nel ma-
nuale d’uso, possono verificarsi altri rischi residui dovuti
ad un utilizzo improprio.
Il prodotto è destinato a persone di età superiore ai 14
anni. Se il prodotto viene usato da bambini da 8 anni in su
o da persone con capacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali li-
mitate oppure con scarsa esperienza e conoscenza, occor-
re che siano supervisionati o istruiti su come usare il dispo-
sitivo in sicurezza e capire i pericoli derivanti che sono
implicati. Ai bambini non è consentito giocare con il di-
spositivo. Pulizia e manutenzione non possono essere ese-
guiti dai bambini senza supervisione.
Sorvegliare i bambini affinché non giochino con il disposi-
tivo.
Tuttavia restano alcuni rischi residui nonostante le misure
di sicurezza specifiche, le istruzioni di sicurezza e le nor-
me di sicurezza aggiuntive indicate nel manuale d’uso, es.
avviamento involontario del prodotto. Se non vengono ri-
spettate le istruzioni contenute nel manuale d’uso, possono
verificarsi altri rischi residui dovuti ad un utilizzo impro-
prio.

Attenzione!
L’utilizzo prolungato di un apparecchio sottoporrà l’utente
a vibrazioni e scosse che potrebbero comportare la sin-
drome di Raynaud o la sindrome del tunnel carpale.
Tale condizione riduce la capacità della mano di percepire
e regolare la temperatura, provoca torpore e sensazione
di calore, e può causare danni ai sistemi nervoso e
circolatorio e necrosi.
Non si conoscono tutti i fattori che comportano la sindro-
me di Raynaud, ma acqua fredda, fumo e malattie dei vasi
sanguigni e del sistema circolatorio nonché l’esposizione
seria e persistente alle vibrazioni sono fattori noti che con-
tribuiscono allo sviluppo della sindrome di Raynaud. Ri-
spettare le seguenti istruzioni per ridurre il rischio della
sindrome di Raynaud e del tunnel carpale:
• Indossare i guanti e tenere le mani al caldo.
•Assicurarsi che il dispositivo sia in buono stato di ma-
nutenzione. Un apparecchio con componenti allentati
o con ammortizzatori danneggiati o usurati tende ad
avere una vibrazione maggiore.
•Tenere sempre l’impugnatura saldamente, ma non af-
ferrarla con una costante pressione eccessiva. Fare spes-
so delle pause.
Tutte le precauzioni sopra indicate non possono escludere
il rischio della sindrome di Raynaud o del tunnel carpale.
Pertanto, in caso di utilizzo duraturo o regolare, si consi-
glia di controllare attentamente la condizione di mani e
dita. Consultare subito un medico qualora si presenti uno
dei suddetti sintomi.
Istruzioni di sicurezza
Attenzione! Leggere interamente le presenti istruzioni.
Il mancato rispetto delle seguenti istruzioni può pro-
vocare scossa elettrica, bruciature e/o lesioni gravi.
La dicitura ‘apparecchio elettrico’ usata di seguito
include sia gli apparecchi alimentati da rete elettri-
ca (con alimentazione da rete) e gli apparecchi a
batteria (senza alimentazione di rete).
CONSERVARE ATTENTAMENTE QUESTE ISTRUZIONI!
1) Istruzioni per operare in sicurezza
a) Indossare occhiali protettivi oppure occhiali di sicu-
rezza opportunamente adattati, robuste scarpe chiu-
se con suole antiscivolo, guanti, abbigliamento da
lavoro aderente e protezioni auricolari (tappi o
paraorecchie).
b) Ai minorenni non deve mai essere consentito di usare
un tagliabordi elettrico. Non prestare o noleggiare
mai il vostro tagliabordi elettrico senza le presenti istru-
zioni d’uso.
c) Non usare il tagliabordi se altre persone, soprattutto
bambini, o animali sono in prossimità dell’area di
lavoro. Tenerli ad una distanza di almeno 15 m.
d) Lavorare con calma e rimanere vigili. Usare il
tagliabordi solamente in condizioni di buona visibili-
tà e di giorno.
e) Prima di usare la macchina, verificare che non ci si-
ano segni di danni o usura su cavo e prolunghe. Non
usare il tagliabordi se i cavi sono danneggiati o
usurati.
f) Non usare cavi di alimentazione, prolunghe, attac-
chi, spine o teste di taglio danneggiati.
g) Un uso imprudente può provocare lesioni a mani e
piedi dovute agli elementi rotanti di taglio. Non ac-
cendere l’apparecchiatura se mani o piedi sono vici-
ni agli elementi di taglio.
h) Non usare mai dispositivi di taglio metallici.
i) Usare solo ricambi originali.
j) Togliere la batteria prima di ispezionare, pulire o in-
tervenire sulla macchina e quando non è in uso.
k) Ispezionare regolarmente le fenditure per il passag-
gio dell’aria di raffreddamento sull’alloggiamento del
motore per verificare che non ci siano intasamenti e
pulire se necessario.
2) Manutenzione
a) Sorvegliare i bambini affinché non giochino con il
dispositivo.
b) Qualsiasi altro intervento deve essere eseguito dal
rivenditore.
c) Non usare mai dispositivi di taglio con lame in me-
tallo o di qualsiasi altro tipo.
d) Pulire regolarmente la testa di taglio.
e) Verificare con frequenza la condizione della testa di
taglio. Se la testa di taglio lavora in modo diverso
(vibrazione, rumore), eseguire subito la seguente
verifica: Spegnere il tagliabordi, tenerlo saldamente
e fermare la testa di taglio premendola contro il ter-
reno. Scollegare la spina dall’alimentazione. Verifi-
care la condizione della testa di taglio – controllare
che non ci siano spaccature.
f) In caso di testa di taglio danneggiata, sostituirla im-
mediatamente - anche se le rotture sono solo superfi-
ciali. Non cercare mai di riparare una testa di taglio
danneggiata.
g) Ispezionare regolarmente le fenditure per il passag-
gio dell’aria di raffreddamento sull’alloggiamento del
motore per verificare che non ci siano intasamenti e
pulire se necessario.
h) Pulire le parti di plastica con uno straccio umido. Non
usare detergenti chimici aggressivi.
i) Non lavare mai il tagliabordi elettrico con il tubo
dell’acqua!
j) Riporre il tagliabordi in ambiente coperto asciutto, in
posizione elevata o chiuso a chiave e tenerlo sempre
lontano dalla portata dei bambini.

2. Chiedere al rivenditore o ad uno specialista di mo-
strarvi come funziona il tagliabordi.

3. Prima di usare la macchina verificare che l’accumu-
latore sia in buone condizioni e non presenti danni.
Non usare mai il tagliabordi se la testa di taglio è
danneggiata.
4. Non far funzionare il tagliabordi (rifilatore bordi pra-
to) se visibilmente danneggiato o usurato.
5. Attenzione! Pericolo. La testa di taglio continua a
ruotare dopo averla spenta (effetto di inerzia). Tene-
re lontani dita e piedi per evitare lesioni.
6. Prima di iniziare i lavori verificare che il tagliabordi
a batteria sia in buone condizioni e che funzioni cor-
rettamente. Fare attenzione in particolare a accumu-
latore, interruttore e testa di taglio.
7. Trasporto del tagliabordi elettrico, es. spostarlo in un
altro posto: Spegnere l’apparecchio, scollegare la
spina.
4) Precauzioni di funzionamento
1. Assicurarsi che la parte aperta dello scudo di prote-
zione non sia rivolta verso di voi prima di accendere
il tagliabordi.
2. Indossare occhiali protettivi oppure occhiali di sicu-
rezza opportunamente adattati, robuste scarpe chiu-
se con suole antiscivolo, guanti, abbigliamento da la-
voro aderente e protezioni auricolari (tappi o
paraorecchie).
3. Tenere sempre il tagliabordi saldamente - assicurarsi
di avere un buon equilibrio e un appoggio stabile.
4. Agire con particolare cautela in caso di lavoro in aree
con crescita intensa dove la visuale del terreno è co-
perta.
5. Non lasciare mai il tagliabordi all’aperto sotto la piog-
gia.
6. Non tagliare erba o altri cumuli se bagnati. Non usa-
re mai in caso di pioggia.
7. Prestare particolare attenzione in caso di condizioni
scivolose - su terreni in pendenza o non livellati.
8. Lavorare in linea rispetto alla pendenza e prestare
particolare attenzione nel girarsi.
9. Controllare eventuali ostacoli nascosti quali tronchi
d’albero e radici per evitare di inciampare.
10. Evitare di usare il tagliabordi in condizioni climatiche
avverse, soprattutto se c’è il rischio di temporale.
11. Il tagliabordi elettrico è un apparecchio ad alta velo-
cità a taglio rapido. Il collegamento elettrico e l’appa-
recchio di taglio sono potenziali fonti di pericolo. Per-
tanto occorre adottare precauzioni di sicurezza parti-
colari per ridurre il rischio di lesione personale.
12. Chiedere al rivenditore o ad uno specialista di mo-
strarvi come funziona il tagliabordi.
13. Sorvegliare i bambini per assicurarsi che non giochi-
no con l’apparecchio.
14. Questo dispositivo non è destinato all’utilizzo da par-
te di persone (bambini inclusi) con capacità fisiche,
sensoriali o mentali limitate o con scarsa esperienza
e/o conoscenza, a meno che non siano supervisionati
da una persona responsabile per la loro sicurezza
oppure non siano stati istruiti da detta persona in me-
rito all’utilizzo corretto del dispositivo.
15. Assicurarsi che chiunque usi il vostro tagliabordi ca-
pisca le informazioni contenute in questo libretto di
istruzioni. Bambini e ragazzi al di sotto dei 16 anni
non possono usare il dispositivo.
16. L’utente è responsabile per la sicurezza di tutte le per-
sone nell’area di lavoro del dispositivo.
17. Bisogna essere in condizioni adatte per usare il
tagliabordi elettrico - riposati, in buona salute e in
buone condizioni fisiche. Se vi stancate mentre usate
il tagliabordi, fate una pausa. Non lavorare mai con
un tagliabordi elettrico sotto l’influenza di alcool o
droghe.
18. La testa di taglio ad alta velocità può raccogliere e
scagliare a grande distanza sassi e altri oggetti estra-
nei. Per ridurre il rischio di lesione, assicurarsi che
passanti / bambini e animali siano ad almeno 15 m
di distanza dalla vostra posizione.
Avviso importante - per non far scadere la garanzia:
•Tenere sempre pulita la presa d’aria.
•Non urtare mai la testa di taglio contro un suolo duro,
altrimenti vi sbilancerete e danneggerete l’albero moto-
re.
5) Movimentazione appropriata e uso degli strumenti a
batteria
a) Assicurarsi che il dispositivo sia spento prima di inse-
rire la batteria.
Inserire una batteria in un apparec-
chio elettrico può comportare incidenti!
b) Per caricare le batterie, usare solo dispositivi di cari-
ca consigliati dal produttore. Le unità di carica sono
solitamente progettate per determinati tipi di batterie;
pericolo di incendio se usate con altri tipi.
c) Usare solamente batterie concepite per il vostro ap-
parecchio elettrico. L’utilizzo di altre batterie può com-
portare lesioni e rischio di incendio!
d) Tenere le batterie non utilizzate lontane da carta, graf-
fe, monete, chiavi, chiodi, viti o altri piccoli oggetti
metallici che possono provocare un effetto ponte tra i
contatti. Un corto circuito tra i contatti della batteria
può comportare ustioni o incendio!
e) L’uso improprio può comportare la fuoriuscita di li-
quido dalla batteria. Evitare il contatto con il liquido
della batteria. Sciacquare in caso di contatto. Se il
liquido della batteria entra negli occhi, consultare
anche un medico. Il liquido fuoriuscito dalla batteria
può comportare irritazioni cutanee o ustioni!

Istruzioni per l’utilizzo della batteria
1. Alla consegna del Tagliabordi senza fili, la batteria
sostituibile non è carica. Caricare la batteria prima
di accendere la macchina per la prima volta.
2. Non aprire mai la batteria.
3. Non gettare mai le batterie esauste nel fuoco - RI-
SCHIO DI ESPLOSIONE!
4. Collegare il caricabatteria solamente a rete la cui ten-
sione corrisponde a quanto riportato sulla targhetta.
5. Usare solamente la batteria originale.
6. Non caricare mai la batteria con un caricabatteria di
un altro produttore. Ciò può danneggiare la batteria
o provocare infortuni dovuti al surriscaldamento.
7. Durante un intervento prolungato, la batteria può ri-
scaldarsi. Lasciarla raffreddare prima di caricarla.
8. Non riporre il caricabatteria e le batterie alla portata
dei bambini.
9. Non usare il caricabatteria in un ambiente con vapo-
ri o liquidi infiammabili.
10. Caricare le batterie solamente ad una temperatura
compresa tra 10°C e 40°C.
11. Riporre la batteria solamente a temperature superio-
ri a 30°C. Temperature di stoccaggio superiori pos-
sono danneggiare la batteria. La temperatura di
stoccaggio ideale è di 10-15°C.
12. Proteggere la batteria da calore, irraggiamento in-
tenso e fuoco. Rischio di esplosione!
13. In caso di danno alla batteria, possono fuoriuscire
vapori o liquidi pericolosi. In caso di contatto acci-
dentale, sciacquare e consultare immediatamente un
medico. Il liquido può avere effetti irritanti o caustici
sulla pelle.
14. Non mettere mai in corto circuito i contatti delle bat-
terie e non collegarli mai con oggetti metallici.
15. In caso di trasporto della batteria, fare attenzione
che i contatti non siano collegati tra loro, non usare
contenitori di trasporto di metallo.
16. Il corto circuito della batteria può comportare
un’esplosione. Ad ogni modo, la connessione in cor-
to circuito danneggerà la batteria.
17. Controllare regolarmente il cavo per verificare se è
danneggiato. Se il cavo è danneggiato, farlo sostitu-
ire.
18. La batteria è dotata di protezione dallo scaricamento
completo: l’apparecchio si spegne automaticamente
se la batteria è scarica. In tal caso ricaricare subito la
batteria.
19. Prima di riporre le batterie per l’inverno, caricarle
completamente un’altra volta.
Smaltimento degli accumulatori
Si prega di rispettare le seguenti indicazio-
ni per lo smaltimento dell’accumulatore/
batteria. Le batterie non devono essere get-
tate nell’immondizia. In qualità di consu-
matore siete legalmente obbligati a restitu-
ire le batterie e gli accumulatori. Al termine
della durata del vostro apparecchio, le bat-
terie o gli accumulatori devono essere estrat-
te dall’apparecchio e smaltiti separata-men-
te. Avete la possibilità di consegnare le vo-
stre vecchie batterie e accumulatori al pun-
to di raccolta locale del vostro comune op-
pure al vostro rivenditore o ai centri di di-
stribuzione
.
Caricamento delle batterie con caricabatteria rapido
(NON IN DOTAZIONE) (fig. 1 e 2)
•Per rimuovere la batteria ricaricabile dal dispositivo,
premere il pulsante di sbloccaggio della batteria (15)
ed estrarre la batteria (Fig. 1).
•Connettere il cavo di alimentazione (16) alla presa di
corrente. Assicurarsi che la tensione di rete indicata sul
caricabatteria rapido (17) combaci con la tensione for-
nita dalla vostra presa. La luce verde sul lato destro del
caricabatteria rapido (17) lampeggerà.
•Inserire la batteria ricaricabile (14) nel caricabatteria
rapido (17). Può essere inserita in una sola posizione
(Fig. 2).
•In questo modo inizia la procedura di carica della bat-
teria segnalata da una spia rossa sulcaricabatteria ra-
pido (17). I 3 LED verdi sulla batteria (14) si accendo-
no a turno.
•Quando la batteria ricaricabile è completamente cari-
ca, la spia sul lato destro del caricabatteria rapido (17)
diventa verde e il LED rosso si spegne. La procedura di
carica termina automaticamente. I 3 LED verdi sulla
batteria si accendono.
•Per il caricamento occorre circa un’ora/un’ora e mez-
za. La batteria si scalda durante l’operazione di
caricamento. È normale e non è indice di guasto. Ri-
muovere la batteria ricaricabile dopo non oltre 5 ore.
Nota: ogni tanto è possibile che la temperatura consentita
venga superata durante il ciclo di caricamento. In tal caso,
il controllo elettronico della ricarica interrompe il ciclo di
caricamento per evitare danni alla batteria. Le spie del
caricabatteria resteranno accese. Se ciò si verifica, stacca-
re la batteria dalla stazione di carica e lasciarla raffred-
dare per circa 30 minuti. Quindi riavviare il ciclo di
caricamento reinserendo la batteria nella stazione di
ricarica.
•Non è necessario controllare il tempo di ricarica.
•Scollegare la spina dell’unità di carica quando non in
uso.

•Se la batteria non è accesa, verificare che la presa sIa
alimentata dalla corrente elettrica. Se non è possibile
ricaricare le batterie, portare il caricabatteria e le bat-
terie presso un negozio di assistenza.
Premere il pulsante X per verificare lo stato di carica (fig.
2).
Possono verificarsi i seguenti casi:
•Tutte e 3 le spie accese: la batteria è completamente
carica.
•2spie accese: lo stato di carica è ancora accettabile.
•1spia accesa: batteria scarica. Ricaricare subito la
batteria!
Nota! La batteria (14) non raggiungerà la capacità com-
pleta alla prima ricarica. La luce rossa del caricabatteria
rapido (17) resta accesa finché il cavo di alimentazione
(16) viene scollegato dalla rete. Potrebbero occorrere più
cicli di ricarica per raggiungere la carica massima.
Nota: La batteria è dotata di protezione dallo scaricamento
completo: l’apparecchio si spegne automaticamente se la

Protezione termica e da tensione
Se l’apparecchio è sottoposto a lavori eccessivamente in-
tensi per un periodo prolungato, la batteria ricaricabile si
potrebbe spegnere. Se ciò si verifica, lasciar raffreddare
la batteria per circa 30 minuti.
Nota:
•Quando il caricatore è collegato alla presa di rete ma
senza caricare la batteria, il LED verde sul lato destro
della stazione di carica lampeggerà e il LED rosso sul
lato sinistro si spegnerà.
•Durante la ricarica della batteria, il LED rosso sul lato
sinistro della stazione di carica si accende (il LED verde si
spegne) e i 3 LED verdi sulla batteria si accendono a
turno.
•Quando la batteria è completamente carica, il LED verde
sul lato destro della stazione di carica si accende (il LED
rosso si spegne) e i 3 LED verdi sulla batteria si accendo-
no.
•In caso di temperatura troppo elevata, i LED rosso e ver-
de sulla stazione di carica restano accesi.
•In caso di situazione anomala e impossibilità di effettua-
re la ricarica, i LED rosso e verde sulla stazione di carica
continuano a lampeggiare.
Montaggio
Attenzione - rischio di lesione! Togliere sempre la
batteria ricaricabile dal dispositivo prima di qualsi-
asi lavoro.
Installazione dello scudo di protezione (Fig. 3)
Questo prodotto funziona solo con l’accessorio di taglio
testa con filo di nylon, metallo o lama non sono adatti.
Allineare i quattro perni (1,2,3,4) dello scudo di protezio-
ne con i fori alla base del supporto della testina A,B,C,D
uno ad uno, usare le viti (5) per fissarli.
Installazione della maniglia aggiuntiva (Fig. 4)
Posizionare la base della maniglia a forma di D nello spa-
zio della staffa della maniglia, allineare il foro della mani-
glia (4) e la staffa (5), usare il pomello (3) e il dado (18)
per assemblare la maniglia serrando a sufficienza.
Attenzione: Il lato in gomma della maniglia è rivolto verso
la testina, mentre il lato scanalato è rivolto verso l’operato-
re.
Avviamento della macchina (Fig. 5 e 6)
•Inserire la batteria caricata nel tagliabordi fino a far
scattare l’interblocco (15). La batteria ricaricabile può
essere inserita nel tagliabordi solamente in una posi-
zione (Fig.5). Attenzione: Quando inserite la batte-
ria non attivate l’interruttore di blocco dell’accensione
(2) e l’interruttore on/off (1).
•Assumere una posa in sicurezza. Tenere il tagliabordi
con entrambe le mani. Non posare il dispositivo di ta-
glio per terra. Ruotare l’interruttore di blocco dell’ac-
censione (2) verso destra e attivare l’interruttore (1) (Fig.
6). Una volta acceso, non occorre più tenere premuto
l’interruttore di blocco dell’accensione (2).
•Per spegnere, rilasciare l’interruttore (1) (Fig. 6). At-
tenzione: L’interruttore on/off può essere attivato solo
con l’interruttore di blocco dell’accensione (2) premu-
to.
Istruzioni per regolare il trimmer (Fig. 7, 8, 9, 10)
La lunghezza dell’asta può essere regolata per adeguar-
si alla vostra statura (Fig. 7)
•Per farlo, ruotare in senso orario il manicotto scanalato
in plastica per allentare il collegamento. Regolare l’asta
alla lunghezza opportuna e serrare il collegamento
ruotando il manicotto di raccordo in senso antiorario.
Regolazione dell’angolo di inclinazione (Fig. 8):
•Premere il pulsante (8) - la testa del tagliabordi si sgan-
cia e può essere ruotata a 72°rispetto all’albero.
Regolazione per rifilatura bordi (Fig.7, 8 , 9, 10):
•Impostare l’angolo di inclinazione come descritto so-
pra.

•Premere il regolatore tagliabordi (11) e girare la mani-
glia in senso orario di 180°, in modo che il rocchetto

Istruzioni per il funzionamento del trimmer (Fig. 11):
•Durante il lavoro muovere il trimmer mantenendolo bi-
lanciato.
•Se possibile, tosare il prato usando la metà sinistra del
trimmer. Le parti che verranno tagliate e / o i sassi sa-
ranno lanciati lontani dall’operatore.
•Il miglior risultato di taglio si ottiene tenendo il tagliabordi
inclinato di 20°- 30°verso il lato sinistro.
•Evitare il contatto tra il filo falciante e ostacoli quali
recinzioni, pareti, sassi, ecc. ciò comporta un’usura ec-
cessiva.
Sostituzione della testina (Fig. 12)
Attenzione - rischio di lesione! Rimuovere sempre
la batteria ricaricabile dal dispositivo prima di qual-
siasi lavoro.
Premere il gancio a cappuccio della testa del rocchetto in
nylon (2) ed estrarre il rocchetto usurato (3), sostituire con
un rocchetto nuovo sul supporto del rocchetto (4) con il filo
fuori dal foro del supporto del rocchetto, e sostituire il co-
perchio (1) sulla testa di nylon.
Attenzione: La testa di nylon è a filo singolo, non doppio.
Manutenzione e cura
Attenzione - rischio di lesione! Rimuovere sempre
la batteria ricaricabile dal dispositivo prima di qual-
siasi lavoro.
Pulire accuratamente il tagliaerba a batteria dopo ogni uti-
lizzo. Togliere erba e sporcizia. Pulire le aperture di
aerazione. Si consiglia di pulire i componenti in plastica
con uno straccio umido e un detergente delicato. Non usa-
re mai detergenti o solventi aggressivi.
Non versare acqua nella macchina e non spruzzarla con
acqua. Riporre il tagliaerba in un luogo asciutto, non espor-
lo mai al gelo e tenerlo lontano dalla portata dei bambini.
Per manutenzione e riparazione di più ampia portata, ri-
volgersi ad un centro assistenza.
Riparazione
Le riparazioni degli apparecchi elettrici devono essere ese-
guite solamente da un elettricista specializzato.
Informazioni per la tutela ambientale / smaltimento
Smaltire la macchina esausta in maniera opportuna.
Scollegare il cavo di rete per prevenire un eventuale uso
improprio. Non smaltire la macchina insieme ai rifiuti do-

Application
The machine is exclusively intended for cutting decorative
lawn, i. e. lawn edges. Any other use or use going beyond
that, such as the cutting of brushwood and hedges or large
areas of lawn, is considered improper use. The manufacturer
/ supplier is not liable for damages resulting from such
use. The risk is borne by the user alone. A proper utilisation
also includes the observance of the operating manual and
the compliance with the conditions of control and
maintenance.
Keep the operating manual always at hand near the place
the machine is used!
Residual risks
Even if the device is used properly, a residual risk that cannot
be eliminated persists. Due to the type and design of the
device, the following potential dangers may result:
-Contact with the unprotected part of the thread cutting
equipment (cutting injury)
-Contact with cutting thread while in operation (cutting)
Contact with ejecting parts of the cutting thread, cut
material, and other materials (cutting injury, blunt injury)
-Loss of hearing if required ear protection is not used while
working (hearing loss)
-Contact with electric current due to a defective or cut
supply cable (electric shock)
-Harmful emissions of cut material and cut particles.
If you do not observe the instructions contained in the
instruction manual, other residual risks may result due to
improper use.
The product is intended for persons who are 14 years old
and up. If the product is used by children who are 8 years
old and up or by persons with limited physical, sensory, or
mental capabilities or a lack of experience and knowledge,
then they must be supervised or informed regarding how
to use the device safely and to understand the resulting
dangers that are involved. Children are not permitted to
play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance may not
be completed by children without supervision.
Children should be supervised so that they do not play with
the device.

safety measures, safety instructions, and additional safety

commissioning the product unintentionally. If you do not

Warning!
Prolonged use of a tool will subject the user to vibration
and shocks that could lead to Raynaud’s syndrome or Carpal
tunnel syndrome.
This condition reduces the ability of the hand to sense and
regulate temperature, causes numbness and a sensation of

heat, and can cause damage to the nervous and circulatory
systems and to necrosis.
Not all factors that lead to Raynaud’s syndrome are known,
but cold water, smoking, and illnesses that impact the
blood vessels and the circulatory system and severe or
long-lasting exposure to vibrations are known to be factors
that contribute to the development of Raynaud’s syndrome.
Observe the following instructions to reduce the risk of
Raynaud’s syndrome and Carpal tunnel syndrome:
•Wear gloves and keep your hands warm.
•Make sure the device is well maintained. A tool with loose
components or with damaged or worn dampers is prone
to increased vibration.
•Always hold the handle firmly, but do not grip it
continuously with excessive pressure. Take breaks often.
All of the precautions indicated above cannot exclude the
risk of Raynaud’s syndrome or Carpal tunnel syndrome.
Therefore, it is advisable in case of long-term or regular
use to monitor the condition of your hands and fingers
closely. Seek medical attention immediately if any of the
above symptoms appear.

KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY!
1) Instructions regarding to safe handling
a) Wear goggles or properly fitted safety glasses, sturdy
closed shoes with non-slip soles, gloves, snug-fitting
work clothes and ear protectors (ear plug or ear
mufflers)
b) Minors should never be allowed to use an electric
trimmer. Never lend or rent your electric trimmer
without these operating instructions.
c) Do not use the trimmer if other persons, above all
children, or animals are near the working area. Keep
away at least 15 m.
d) Work calmly and stay alert. Operate the trimmer under
good visibility and daylight conditions only.
e) Before using the machine, the line and extension cords
have to be checked for signs of damage or ageing.
Do not use the trimmer when the cords are damaged
or worn.
f) Do not use damaged power supply cords, extension
cords, couplings, plugs or cutting heads.
g) Careless use can cause injuries to hand and feet by
the rotating cutting elements. Do not switch on the
unit when hands or feet are near the cutting elements.
h) Never use metal cutting devices.
i) Only use original spare parts.
j) Remove the battery before testing, cleaning or working
on the machine and when it is not in use;
k) Inspect cooling air slots on the motor housing at
regular intervals for clog-ups and clean as necessary.
2) Maintenance
a) Children should be under supervision to ensure that
they do not play with the device.
b) Any other work should be performed by your dealer.
c) Never use metal or any kind blade cutting devices.
d) Clean the cutting head at regular intervals.
e) Check the condition of the cutting head at frequent
intervals. If the behaviour of the cutting head changes
(vibration, noise), check immediately as follows: Switch
off the trimmer, hold it firmly and bring the cutting
head to a standstill by pressing it against the ground.
Then disconnect plug from power supply. Check
condition of cutting head - look for cracks.
f) Have a damaged cutting head replaced immediately
- even if it only has superficial cracks. Never attempt
to repair a damaged cutting head.
g) Inspect cooling air slots on the motor housing at
regular intervals for clog-ups and clean as necessary.
h) Clean plastic parts with a damp cloth. Do not use
aggressive cleaning chemicals.
i) Never hose down the electric trimmer!
j) Store trimmer indoors in a dry, high or locked place
and always keep out of reach of children.
3) General Instructions
1. Read the instructions manual.
2. Have your dealer or a specialist show you how to
operate your trimmer.
3. Before using the machine check that your accu is in
good condition and that there is no damage. Never
use the trimmer with a damaged cutting head
4. Do not put the trimmer (lawn edge trimmer) into
operation if it is visibly damaged or worn.
5. Attention! Danger. The cutting head continues to rotate
after switch-off (flywheel effect). Keep your finger and
feet well clear to avoid injury.
6.
Before starting work check that your accu-trimmer is in
good condition and that it is operating properly. Pay
special attention to the accu, switch and cutting head.
7. Transporting the electric trimmer, e.g. carrying it to
another site: Switch off the unit, disconnect the plug.
4) Operational Precautions
1. Make sure the open side of the protection guard is
pointing away from yourself before you switch on the
trimmer.
2. Wear goggles or properly fitted safety glasses, sturdy
closed shoes with non-slip soles, gloves, snug-fitting work
clothes and ear protectors (ear plugs or ear mufflers).

3. Always hold your trimmer firmly - make sure you always
maintain a good balance and secure footing.
4. Use particular caution while working in dense growth
areas where your view of the ground is obscured.
5. Never leave your trimmer outdoors in rain.
6. Do not cut wet grass or other growth. Never use in rain.
7. Take special care in slippery conditions - on slopes and
uneven ground.
8. Work in a line across the slope and take special care
when turning around.
9. Watch for hidden obstacles such as tree stumps and
roots to avoid stumbling.
10.Avoid to use the trimmer in poor weather conditions,
especially if there is a risk of a thunderstorm.
11.Your electric trimmer is a high-speed, fast- cutting power
tool. The electrical connection and cutting tool are
potential sources of danger. Therefore, special safety
precautions must be observed to reduce the risk of
personal injury.
12.Have your dealer or a specialist show you how to
operate your trimmer.
13.Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
14.This device is not intended to be used by persons (incl.
children) with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities
or with a lack of experience and/or knowledge unless
they are supervised by a person responsible for their
safety or were instructed on the proper use of the device
by that person.
15.Be sure that anyone using your trimmer understands
the information contained in these operating instructions.
Children and youths under the age of 16 may not use
the device.
16.The user is responsible for safety for all persons in the
working area of the device.
17.You must be fit to operate an electric trimmer - rested,
healthy and in good physical condition. If you get tired
while operating your trimmer, take a break. Never work
with an electric trimmer while under the influence of
alcohol or drugs.
18.The high-speed cutting head may catch and fling stones
and other fiìoreign objects a great distance. To reduce
the risk of injury, ensure that bystanders / children and
animals are at least 15 m (50 ft) away from your own
position.
Important notice - so your guarantee does not expire:
•Always keep the air-intake clean.
•Never hit the cutting head on a hard underground, other-
wise you will unbalance and damage the motor shaft.
5) Appropriate handling and use of battery-operated
power tools
a) Make sure that the device has been switched off before
inserting the battery. Inserting a battery into a switched-
on power tool may lead to accidents!
b) Only use charging devices recommended by the
manufacturer to charge the batteries. Charging units
are usually designed for certain types of batteries; if
used with other types there is a risk of fire!
c) Only use batteries designed for your power tool. The
use of other batteries may lead to injury and risk of fire!
d) Keep unused batteries clear of paper clips, coins, keys,
nails, screws or other small metal objects that may
bridge the contacts. A short circuit between the battery
contacts may lead to burns or fire!
e) Improper use may result in fluid leaking out of the
battery. Avoid any contact with battery fluid. Flush
with water in case of contact. If battery fluid should
get into your eyes seek medical advice additionally.
Leaking battery fluid may lead to irritations of the skin
or burns!
Instructions for using the battery
1. When the Cordless Grass Trimmer are delivered, the
replaceable battery is not charge. Before starting the
machine for the first time, the battery must be charged.
2. You must never open the battery.
3. Never throw the used batteries in fire - RISK OF
EXPLOSION!
4. Connect the battery charger only to mains with such a
voltage as stated on the type-bearing plate.
5. Use only the original battery.
6.
Never charge the battery with a battery charger from
other producer. This can result in the battery being
damaged or it can result in an injury due to over-heating.
7. During a long-term operation, the battery may heat up.
Let it cool down before charging it.
8. Do not store the battery charger and the batteries within
children‘s reach.
9. Do not use the battery charger in an environment with
vapors or inflammable fluids.
10.Charge the batteries only at a temperature within the
range of 10°C to 40°C.
11.Store the battery at temperatures up to 30°C only. Higher
storage temperatures may result in damage to the
battery. The ideal storage temperature range is 10-
15°C.
12.Protect the battery from heat, intense insolation and fire.
Explosion hazard!
13.In case of damage to the battery, hazardous vapours
or fluids may escape. In case of incidental contact flush
with water and seek medical advice immediately. The
fluid may have irritating or caustic effects on the skin.
14.Never short-circuit the contacts of the batteries and never
interconnect them with metal objects.
15.When transporting the battery, take care that the
contacts are not interconnected, do not use metal
transportation containers.
16.Short-circuit of the battery can lead to explosion. In
any case, the short-circuit connection will damage the
battery.

17.Check the cable regularly on whether it is damaged. If
the cable is damaged, have it replaced.
18.The battery is equipped with a deep-discharge pro-
tection feature: the tool is automatically switched off if
the battery is discharged. Recharge the battery imme-
diately if this should be the case.
19.Before storing the batteries for the wintertime, charge
them fully once more.
Disposal of accumulators
Please observe the following directions for
the disposal of your accumulator/battery. Bat-
teries are not to be put into the rubbish. As a
consumer you are legally obliged to return used
batteries and accumulators. At the end of the
duration of your apparatus, the batteries or
accumulators have to be taken from the appa-
ratus, disposing of them separately. You have
the possibility of delivering your old batteries
and accumulators to the local collecting points
of your municipality or to your dealer or to the
distribution centers.
Charging the batteries
•In order to remove the rechargeable battery from the
device, press the interlock button (15) and slide the
battery out (Fig. 1).
•Plug the power cable (16) into the mains socket. Make
sure that the mains voltage cited on the charging station
complies with the voltage supplied by your socket. The
green light on the right side of the charging station will
blink.
•
Slide the rechargeable battery (14) into the charging station
(17). It can only be inserted in one position (Fig. 2).
•The battery charging process now begins and is signalled
by the red indicator light on the charging station (17).
The 3 green LEDs on battery (14) light up in turn.
•Once the rechargeable battery has been fully charged,
the indicator light on the right side of the charging station
(17) changes to green and red LED extinguish. The
charging process ends automatically. The 3 green LEDs
on battery
•Charging takes approx. 1-1.2 hours. The battery heats
up during the charging process. This is normal and does
not signal a fault. Remove the rechargeable battery after
no more than 5 hours.
Note: Occasionally, the permissible temperature range may
be exceeded during the charging cycle. In this case, the
electronic charging control interrupts the charging cycle to
avoid any damage to the battery. The read control light
will then glow continuously. If you should witness this, pull
the battery from the charging station and let it cool down
for about 30 minutes. Then, restart the charging cycle by
sliding the battery back onto the charging station.
•It is not required to monitor the charging time.
•Pull the plug of the charging unit if it is not in use.
•If the battery is not lit up, check if there is electric current
in the socket. If the charging of the batteries is not
possible, give the battery charger and the batteries to a
service shop.
Push the button X to check the charging level (Fig. 2)
The following indications may occur:
•All 3 control lights are glowing: the battery is fully
charged.
•2control lights are glowing: the charging level is still
acceptable.
•1control light is glowing: the battery is discharged.
Recharge the battery immediately!
Note! The battery (14) will not reach its full capacity when
charged for the first time. The red light of the charging
station illuminates until the power cable (16) is disconnected
from the mains. Multiple charging cycles may be required
in order to reach the maximum charge.
Note: The battery is equipped with a deep-discharge
protection feature: the tool is automatically switched off if
the battery is discharged. Recharge the battery immediately
if this should be the case.
Thermal and voltage protection
If the tool is subject to excessively high loads for an ex-
tended period, the rechargeable battery may switch off. If
this occurs leave the battery to cool down for approx. 30
minutes.
Note:
•When charger is connected to mains socket, but without
battery charing, the right side green LED of the charging
station would blink and the left side red LED extinguish.
•When charging the battery, the left side red LED of the
charger station illuminates (green LED extinguishs) and
the 3 green LED on the battery light up in turn.
•When the battery is fulled charged, the right side green
LED of the charger station illuminates (red LED extin-
guishs) and the 3 green LED on the battery light up.
•When too high temperature warming, the red and green
LED on the charge station keep illuminates.
•When abnormal situation and charing process is
prohibit, the red and green LED on the charge station
keep blink.
Assembly
Attention - risk of injury! Always remove the re-
chargeable battery from the device before all work.
Installing the protective cover (Fig. 3)
This products can be only fit with cutting attachment of nylon
spool with line, it can not fit with metal or blade. Aligh the
fout pins (1,2,3,4)of the protective cover with the holes of

the spool base drum A, B, C, D one-to-one match, use screws
(5) to fix them together.
Install additional handle (Fig. 4)
Put the D type handle base to the gap of the handle bracket,
aligh the hole of the handle (4) and the bracket (5), use
knob (3) and nut (18) to assemble the handle tighten enough.
Attention: The rubber side of the handle is in the side of the
spool, while the groove side of the handle face to operator.
Putting the machine in operation (Fig. 5 and 6)
•Insert the charged battery in the strimmer until the
interlock (15) latches. The rechargeable battery can only
be inserted in the strimmer in one position (Fig.5).
Attention: When inserting the battery do not actuate
the switch-on inhibit (2) and the on/off switch (1).
•Adopt a safe stance. Hold the strimmer in both hands.
Do not set the cutting device down on the ground. Press
the switch-on inhibit (2) to right and actuate the switch
(1) (Fig. 6). After switching on, the switch-on inhibit (2)
must no longer be held.
•In order to switch off, release the switch (1) (Fig. 6).
Attention: On/off switch can only be activated after the
switch-on inhibit (2) is pressed.
Directions for set lenght adjustment and the use of the
set as edge cutter (Fig. 7, 8, 9, 10)
The tube length may be adjusted to suit your height
(Fig. 7):
•To do so, turn the ribbed plastic sleeve clockwise to loosen
the connection. Adjust the tube to the suitable length
and fasten the connection by turning the tapped sleeve
anti-clockwise.
Adjusting the tilting angle (Fig. 8):
•Press the button (8) - the strimmer head is disengaged
and can be pivoted in 72°relative to the shaft.
Adjusting for edge trimming (Fig. 7, 8 , 9, 10):
•Set the tilting angle as previously described.
•Press the edge cutter adjustor (11) and rotory the handle
with clockwise with 180°, then the edge cutter spool
would directs to ground. It’s for edge trimming.
Instructions for operating the mowing machine (Fig.11):
•Move the mowing machine evenly from oneside to
another.
•
If possible, mow by using the left half of the mowing ma-
chine. The mowed parts of plants and / or stones will
thus be hurled forward away from the operating person.
• The best possible cutting result are achieved when you hold
the trimmer with an angle of 20°- 30°to the left side.
•Avoid contact between the mowing string and obsta-
cles such as fences, walls, stones, etc. This leads to
excessive wear and tear.
Changing the spool (Fig. 12)
Attention - risk of injury! Always remove the re-
chargeable battery from the device before all work.
Press the nylon spool head cap claw (2) and pick out the
worn spool (3), replace a new spool to the spool frame (4)
with the line out of the hole of the spool frame, and replace
the cap (1) to the nylon head.
Attention: The nylon head is with single line, not double.
Maintenance and care
Attention - risk of injury! Always remove the re-
chargeable battery from the device before all work.
Clean your battery-operated mowing machine thoroughly
each time after you use it. Remove the grass and dirt. Clean
the ventilation openings. It is best to clean the plastic parts
with a wet cloth and a soft detergent. Never use aggressive
detergents or solvents. Do not pour water into the machine
and do not sprinkle it with water. Store the mowing machine
in a dry place, never expose it to frost and keep it out of
children‘s reach.
For more extensive maintenance or repairs, give the mowing
machine to the service center.
Repair service
Repairs to electric power tools should only be carried out
by a specialised electrician.
Information for environmental protection/disposal
Dispose of the machine properly after it is worn out. Dis-
connect the mains cable in order to prevent misuse. Do not
dispose of the machine with the household waste. In the
interest of environmental protection, take it to a collection
point for electric machines. Your responsible local authority
can provide you with addresses and operating times. Also
take the packaging materials and worn out accessories to
the appropriate collection points.

Do not discard electric tools in the household
waste!
In accordance with European Directive 2012/19/EC on
waste electrical and electronic equipment and its im-
plementation in national law, waste electric tools must be
collected separately for environmentally-compatible re-use.
Recycling alternative to the return invitation:
Instead of returning the electric equipment, the owner is
alternatively obligated to take part in the proper recycling
in the case of relinquishment of ownership. The waste
equipment can also be taken to a collection facility which
disposes of it in the sense of the national recycling man-
agement and waste acts. This does not pertain to the
accessory parts and auxiliary equipment without electri-
cal components accompanying the waste equipment.
