SPECIFICATIONS
Example 1 - Vertex Boost as gain booster w/EXP
When the Boost is positioned after the guitar, before
any other distortion or overdrive pedals the Boost
will function as a gain booster. This means that if you
stack the boost in combination with other overdrive
or distortion pedals following it, it will not increase the
output level of your signal, but rather add more gain/
distortion to your signal.
Example 2 - Vertex Boost as level booster w/EXP
When the Boost is positioned after distortion or
overdrive devices, but before any time-based pedals
(delay and/or reverb), the Boost will function as a
level booster. This means that if you stack the boost in
combination with other overdrive or distortion pedals
before it, it will only add more volume level to your
signal, and not change the tone of the pedals coming
before it. AMPLIFIER

The Vertex Boost is expertly crafted to be a clean boost, buffer,
and volume pedal in one. The Boost is designed to leave your
tone unchanged, while boosting the level of your signal. The
Boost also features an ultra-linear buffer to condition your line
with ZERO tonal coloration, even with dozens of pedals in your
chain. Additionally, you have total volume control by connecting
the Boost with any EXP pedal or Volume Pedal (with insert cable
adapter shown below) and adjusting your volume as you would
with a volume pedal.
When the Boost is OFF, the EXP will function as a typical volume
pedal (sweeping from silent to unity gain). When the Boost is
ON, the EXP will control the boosted volume (sweeping from
silent to wherever the level knob is set). Since your guitar signal is
completely isolated from the EXP pedal, your tone remains open
and full-range, and most importantly, it feels like your plugged
straight into your amp.

Example 1
When the DIP switches are positioned according to Example 1, the
expression pedal (EXP) will function as the boosted volume control
(volume pedal) when the Boost is switched ON and the LED is illuminated.
When the Boost is bypassed (LED off), the EXP is removed from the audio
path (True Bypass).
Example 2
When the DIP switches are positioned according to Example 2, the
expression pedal (EXP) will control the boosted volume level when the
Boost is switched ON and the LED is illuminated. When the Boost is
bypassed (LED off), the EXP is a unity gain pedal.
