I. General information
Ultrasonic level sensor is special designed for small spaces. It
is small volume, light weight and provides perfect measuring
function (such as transmitting ,receiving ,auto temperature
compensation, digital filter…). Supporting RS485 serial menu
adjustment, it bring convenient of displaying. According to onsite
condition, it can divide into small blind high prices sensor and
standard sensor.
II. Characteristics
●Optional increment/difference distance measurement to measure
distance or level
●Direct display of weight inside container after setting specific gravity
parameters
●4~20mA output, RS485S serial data output or 0~5V analog output
●through PC software to set menu and adjustment
●Free adjustment the range of current or voltage output
●PC serial output and adapters, capable of PC networking
●Optional increment/difference measurement to measure distance or
level
●1-15 transmitted pulse intensity depending on working conditions
●free setting of full-scale start point and end point

Difference between Difference mode and increment mode
(Note: This product is no debug button)
a、under difference mode ,
set bAd=B (m),B ,A is the
distance between sensor
surface and liquid level. Dis
the height of liquid,D= B -
A,at this moment, display
value is the distance from
button of container to sensor
surface and equals to liquid
height (D).
chatrt 4
b、Under increment mode, set bAd=0,display value is distance
from sensor surface to liquid surface(A).
1. This instrument is easy to install, only a properly positioned hole
ofΦ50mm is needed in the working surface. Insert the front end of the
instrument and install the damping washer, and tighten the nylon ring. For a
long, stable and efficient operation, it is preferred to use a 12-24V
regulated power supply.DC must touch ground.
2. Refer to the tags attached on the instrument for wiring. In order to
keep it working reliable and display precise , please electrify >15
minutes before work. After commissioning, “B” must be pressed to turn
off the display to minimize power consumption (Press “B” again to turn on
the display), and tighten the back cover to prevent water or dust from
entering. When operated outdoors, it should be placed under a sun screen to

- 7 -
avoid direct under sunshine and rain. Lightning proof measures should also
be taken outdoor.
3. Adjust the end of sensor repeatedly to vertical to the surface of
measured level. The distance between the probe and surface depends on the
maximum displacement of the surface to be measured, blind zone of the
instrument and range of probe.
4. If the liquid to be measured is sewage or containing afloat impurities,
a wire-fence should be placed under the probe to keep them out of the
normal measurement range of the probe. Otherwise correct and stable display
can not be obtained.
5. If the liquid level to be measured fluctuates, keep the measurement
range far away from the fluctuation as much as possible, or use a
waveguide to minimize the fluctuation of liquid level.
6. The transmitted pulse intensity should be set properly; otherwise it
will not work normally.
