The NSD7800 comes with a recover button on the exterior of the
chassis. When the recover button on the NSD7800 is pressed, the
s stem will be reset and all other boot priorities will be overridden at
that time.
For example, if a SATA HDD has been set as the first boot device in the
hard drive boot priorit list, the bootable recover device (e.g., USB, CF,
etc) will boot instead when the recover procedure has been triggered.
Currentl , the NSD7800 BIOS supports the following t pes of bootable
recover devices:
•USB HDD (USB pen drive is included)
•DOM (Disk On Module)
•CF (Compact Flash) Card
After the recover procedure has been completed, the s stem will return
to the normal boot sequence.
