1 General information

Thank you for choosing our cartridge sleeve for EURO Cartridge. To ensure proper ope-
ration, please carefully read the following pages for correct operating and maintenance
instructions. Keep these instructions handy for future reference.

1.1 The Cartridge sleeve for cartridge EURO 1/10 Gallon
This device is designed to hold a Euro cartridge with the liquid to be dispensed.
To promote this, an overpressure must be applied. By an safety valve the limit of 7bar
(0.7MPa) is guaranteed. The handling is very easy due to the construction.
1.2 Intended Use
Delivery of the liquid to be dispensed by an dispensing valve via a product tube by
usage of overpressure.
Only compressed air or nitrogen as the gas for delivery are allowed! Dedicated cartridge
is Euro cartridge, 310ml / 1/10 Gallon, external thread as our product 507412
(TS-110C-R).
Please use proper fixture to keep cartridge sleeve in fixed position to have no torque at
fitting.

WARNING
If this device is used for purposes other than those
described in this operating manual, personal injury or
damage to property may result.
Only use the device in accordance with the enclosed
instructions.
Never exceed the permissible operating pressure.
Use only compressed air or nitrogen gas!
Never lay compressed air hoses near busy areas, sharp
edges, moving parts or hot surfaces.

2.2 Danger from toxic liquids and vapours
CAUTION
Toxic liquids or vapors can cause serious or fatal injury if
they come in contact with eyes or skin, if swallowed or
inhaled.
Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for
information about the specific hazards of the fluid to be
used.
Observe prescribed or recommended safety measures.
Store hazardous liquids only in designated containers
and dispose of liquids properly.
2.3 Fire and Explosion Hazards
WARNING
Solvents and vapors in the work area may explode or
ignite. The risk of fires and explosions can be reduced.
Eliminate possible ignition sources, such as permanent
flames, cigarettes and plastic films (danger of sparks
from static electricity).
Avoid sparks, e.g. caused by plugging and unplugging
power cables or operating light switches when flamma-
ble vapours are present.
Keep the work area free of waste, including solvents,
cleaning cloths and gasoline.
2.4 Protective equipment
NOTICE
If you operate the cartridge sleeve with toxic or hot
liquids or with high supply , wear appropriate
protective clothing. This protective clothing should
protect you from serious injuries, such as eye injuries, in-
halation of toxic vapors, hearing loss or burns.
The following protective devices may be necessary:
• Safety goggles
• Gloves
• Hearing protection
• Protective clothing and breathing protection
according to the recommendations of the material
and solvent manufacturers
• Suction

4 Operation
Ensure pressure supply is shut-off and no pressure is captured inside the cartridge
sleeve!
Connect fluid tube to outlet fitting of cartridge sleeve (not shown in pictures).
• Open cartridge sleeve by unscrewing upper and lower part
• Pull O-ring over the external thread of the Euro cartridge down to the bottom
• Cut o outlet to allow material ow later
• Screw Euro cartridge into thread of lower part until O-ring is compressed smoothly
for sealing.
• Put upper part on assembled Euro cartridge and close hand tight

• Check if shut-o valve is closed before connecting air hose
• Check if uid tube/tting combination is connected to tting at cartridge sleeve and
dispensing valve properly
• Open shut-o valve to apply uid pressure to Euro cartridge to supply uid to
dispensing valve
• Open dispensing valve to remove compressed air in hose until uid ows without
any voids or air bubbles. Close dispensing valve.

5 Maintenance and cleaning
The device itself is free of maintaining.
Never the less, we recommend to check condition of O-ring to ensure the sleeve is
sealing properly. In case of fluid pollution inside of the cartridge sleeve, please use pro-
per cleaning solvent which do not harm anodizes aluminium.
Check safety valve frequently according pollution and replace in case of need.
