xDas Modul muss vor dem Lötvorgang zuerst in
die Löcher der Leiterplatte eingerastet werden.

xNach dem Einrasten müssen alle Kontaktpins
eingelötet werden.
xDie Pins dürfen während und nach der
Montage bei einer max. Modultemperatur von
25°C nicht mehr als ±0.2 mm bzw 35 N
gedehnt bzw gestaucht werden.
xDie Pins dürfen bei einer max.
Substrattemperatur von 100°C mit nicht mehr
als ±5 N auf Dauer belastet werden.
xEine Vibrationsbelastung der Pins ist
unbedingt zu vermeiden.
xThe module must be fixed to the PCB by clipping
into the adequate holes before pin soldering. See
below
xAfter fixing all pins must be soldered into the
PCB.
xDuring assembly, at a max. module temperature
of 25°C, the pins should not be drawn or pushed
more than ±0.2 mm or loaded with a higher force
than 35N.
xAt a maximum substrate-temperature of 100°C
the load of the pin should not exceed ±5N.
xVibration stress on pins is not allowed

continuous.
xdie Rauhigkeit sollte geringer als RZ= 0.01 mm
sein. xthe surface roughness should be less than
RZ = 0.01 mm.

xOPTION 1: Wärmeleitpaste
homogene Verteilung der Wärmeleitpaste auf
dem ganzen Modulboden mit einer Dicke von
max. 0.05 mm.
xOPTION 1: thermal paste
Homogeneous applying of the thermal
conductive paste over the whole module bottom
with a thickness of max. 0.05 mm.
xDickere Wärmeleitpaste erhöht den Rth. xThicker thermal paste can raise the value of Rth.
xOPTION 2: Wärmeleitfolie
Es sollte eine Wärmeleitfolie mit Aluminium-
innenlage und beidseitiger Beschichtung mit
Phase Wechselmaterial verwendet werden.
Die Gesamtdicke der Folie muß kleiner
0,08mm betragen. Dickere Folien können zum
Bruch des Keramiksubstrates führen und
erhöhen den Wärmewiderstand des Moduls.
Vorgeschlagene Folie: Kunze Folien KU-ALC5
oder ALF5 • Die Folienabmessungen s.u.
xOPTION 2: thermal foil
A thermal foil with a aluminium core layer and
two outer layer made of phase change material
should be used. The total thickness of the foil
has to be less then 0,08mm / 0,003 inch. Thicker
foils could cause braking of the ceramic sub-
strate and will increase the thermal resistance.
Recommended foil type: Kunze Folien KU-ALC5
or ALF5 • Recommended foil dimensions see
below.

Mounting
1. Insert the modul pins to
the PCB
2. Press one short side of
the modul gently as
shown on figure 1.a.
and 1.b. until two clips
of that side are locked
3. Press the other side to
lock the remaining two
clips as shown on fig
2.a. and 2.b.
4. Module in place on
PCB fig 3.a. and 3.b
Thermal foil, recommended thickness is less than 0,08mm. Recommended material is Aluminium, covered
with phase change material
