GAS CYLINDER SAFE HANDLING
Gas cylinders are under very high pressure, follow these safety
instructions.
•Gascylindercontentsareunderhighpressure.
•Ensurecontentsofcylindersareproperlyidentified.
•Don'tdestroyorremoveidentificationtagsorlabels.
•Checktoseecylindervalvesareprotectedwithprotectivecaps.
•Leavecapsonuntilthegasisabouttobeused.
•Donotrollordropcylinders,orletthembumpviolentlyagainsteachother.
•Securelargecylinders(125cuft)withachainorstrappositionedaroundtheupperthirdofthe
cylinder.
•Smallcylinders(22cuft)maybeputontheirsideandblockedtopreventfromrolling.
•Clearcylindervalveofanydustordirtbeforeattachingtheregulator.
•Someregulatorsareonlyforspecificgasesandregulatorsshouldnotbeinterchanged.CGA580
valveconnectionmustbeusedforargonandnitrogencylinders.
•Standtothesideoftheregulatorwhenopeningthecylindervalve.
•Opencylindervalveslowly.
•Storecylindersinawell‐ventilatedareaawayfromallsourcesofheatorflames.
•Beforereturningcylinder,closethevalveandreplacetheprotectivecap.
•Markemptycylinders"EMPTY".




HOWTOSETUPYOURWINEDISPENSING&PRESERVINGSYSTEM


STEP1:Placethestopper‐dispenseronto
eachopenbottleofwine.



STEP2:Insertthegastubeprovidedinto
theconnectofeachstopper‐
dispenser.


STEP3:Now,attachtheadhesivebacked
tubeclampstothebackofthe
opencooler.
STEP4:Adddoublesidedadhesivetapes
tothebackofthemanifold.


STEP6:Presseachgastubeintoitsclamp.
STEP5:Firmlypressthemanifoldtothe
backoftheopencoolerand
ensurethatitisfastenedsecurely.




STEP8:Attachthepressureregulatorto
thenitrogen/argoncylinder.
•Connecttheregulatortothegas
cylinderbyturningCGA580
connectionnutcounter‐clockwise
withhandonly.Thepressure
gaugemonitorsthecylinderinside
pressure.
STEP7:Now,Attachtheotherendofeach
gastubetothemanifold.
•Pressthelatchatthesocketand
insertthecouplingplugintothe
socket.


STEP9:Insertthegashosetotheconnect
oftheregulator.
STEP10:Connecttheotherendofthe
hosetothemanifold.
•Pressthelatchandinsertthe
couplingplugintothesocket
atthesideofthemanifold.


STEP12:Purgethesystem.
•Waitfor5secondstoletgas
escape.
Thenturnthethumbwheel
clockwisewithyourthumband
forefingeronlytotighten,butdo
notovertightenit.Oncethereare
nobubblesformingatthestopper‐
dispenser,itindicatesthebottle
sealisgood.
STEP11:Turnonthegas.
•Standtothesideofthecylinder
•Openthevalvebyturninghandle
counter‐clockwise.
•Theoutletpressureispresetto3‐
5psig.



STEP13:Dispenseandenjoy!


NOTE Themanifoldisself‐sealed.Alwaysdisconnectatthemanifoldfirstwhen
changingwinebottlesorgascylindersothatairwon’tenterintothesystem.

1. Changinggascylinder
Disconnectthegashosecouplingplugatthemanifold,
disconnecttheotherendattheregulator.
Insertittotheregulatorwithanewgascylinder,pressthe
couplingplugtoletgasescape,theninsertthecouplingpluginto
thesocketatthemanifold.
2. Changingwinebottle
Disconnectgastubecouplingplugatthemanifold,removethe
stopper‐dispenser,placeitontoanewbottle,insertthecoupling
plugintothesocketatthemanifold,waitfor5secondstoletthe
gasescape,thentightenthestopper‐dispenser.


