Product Overview
The C41 is a connecting block device for connecting IR receivers, IR emitters and a power sup-
ply. The C41 may interface up to 8 A/V components depending on which emitters are selected
in the A/V system.
Product Features

Installation
1. IR Receiver Connection: Connect the IR
receiver to the 4/position connector mar-
ked V+ (12VDC), G (GND), ST (Status) and
IR (Signal). Please refer to the diagram
below for proper connection. Select recei-
vers do not have ST.
2. Emitter Outputs: Select the appropriate
EP11/11B Single or EP12/12B Dual emit-
ters for the installation, connect up to 4
emitter cables to the emitter jacks marked
1 to 4. Place the emitters on the source
equipment, up to 8 sources available when
using Dual IR emitters.
3. Power: Connect the Vista Acoustics power
adaptor, a Regulated 12VDC/ 500mA out-
put or higher to an appropriate AC outlet on
the wall. Next, insert the plug on the power
adaptor to the jack marked “Power DC 12V.
Once the LED turns green it will power all of
the IR components connected.
4. Status Power: A 12VDC/200mA “2.1mm + tip –sleeve”. Connecting a power supply to this
connection will power the status connection. The green LED will illuminate when powered.
This can be from a 12V trigger output or from a wall type power supply plugged into a swit-
ched outlet of a stereo receiver. Note: Not all IR Receivers feature ST (Status) capability.
5. Mounting: Install the C41 near the source equipment that the emitters are attached to. The
C41 can be mounted with double stick tape, cable ties, etc.
