Product Overview
The C21 is a connecting block device for connecting IR receivers, IR emitters & a power supply.
The C21 may interface up to 4 A/V components depending on which emitters are selected in
the A/V system.
Product Features & Installation
1. IR Receiver Connection: Two separate connections are available for IR Receivers: Input 1:
Uses a 3.5 mm stereo jack; Input 2: Connect the IR system to the 3/position connector:
“V+ (12VDC), G (Ground) and IR (Signal)” P lease refer to the diagram below for proper con-
nection.
2. Emitter Output: Select the appropriate EP11/11B Single or EP12/12B Dual emitters for
the installation. Up to 2 each of the dual emitters (EP12/12B) maximum can be connected
in parallel when using a “Y”.
3. Has one (1) IR emitter output jack, yet may be expanded to 2 outputs when using optional
“Y” Adaptor.
4. DC 12V power input receptacle with power ON green LED indicator.
5. Connect a Vista Acoustics power adaptor, a Regulated 12VDC/ 500mA output or higher to
appropriate AC outlet on the wall. Next insert the plug on the power adaptor to the jack
marked “Power DC 12V.
6. Once the LED turns green it will power all of the IR components connected in the system.
