ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION
Connect the handset to the base unit using the
handset connection cable
Connect the USB cable to the base unit
Make sure that your PC has one of the following
Microsoft operating systems:
WindowsVista
WindowsXP
Plug the USB cable into the USB port on your PC.
Installationof the device drivers takes place
automaticallyand may take up to 30 seconds. If
installationdoes not completesuccessfully in 1
minute, then unplug the phone from theUSB port
and then re-plug it.
MICROPHONEVOLUME ADJUSTMENT
User can increase or decrease the volumeof the
Microphone using Windows capture mixer as
follows:
Open Control panel | Sound and audio devices |
Audio | Sound recording |
and select Vitelix UC device
HANDSET VOLUME ADJUSTMENT
User can increase or decrease the volumeof the
handset speaker using Windows capture mixer as
follows: Open Control panel | Sound and audio
devices | Audio | sound playback |
and select Vitelix UC device
VX-100: Basic Model, no keypad
VX-200: Enterprise model w/
Keypad and functionbuttons.
VX-200 duo:Dual mode phone,
VoIP or PSTN, w/ keypad, function
buttons and PSTN gateway.

PHONE FEATURES
The ViTELiX VX-200 phone is a full-featuretelephone that providesvoice
communicationover Microsoft OfficeCommunicator 2007. PLACING A CALL
Pick up the handset, dial the number and then press the
Send button
ANSWERING A CALL
Pick up the handset to answer an incoming call.
CALL HOLD
During a call press the Flash button.
HANDS-FREE MODE
Connect a headset to the Headset connector, then press the
Hands-free/BoostMic button to activatethe headset
microphone.Dial the number and press the Send
button.
MICROPHONEMUTE
Press the Mute button the mute the microphone during
or before the call.
SPEAKERPHONE MODE
Pick up the handset and place it on the desk. Press the
Activatespeaker button to activatespeaker, then press
the Hands-free/Boost Mic buttonto boost the handset
microphone.Dial the number and press the Send
Button.
