1. INTRODUCTION
Content of this manual is intended to facilitate the operation and use of
domestic circulators as much as possible. It contains information on the safe installation
and use of the product. It is recommended that you read the instructions carefully, as the
lack of proper knowledge regarding the assembly and operation of the device may
cause damage to the pump or personal injury caused by moving pump parts, leaking
liquids or improper electrical connections.
Pumps are always checked thoroughly before leaving the factory. For some
models, individual parts or accessories may be packed separately, so make sure that all
parts of the device are delivered at the time of purchase, and check that there are no
signs of damage.
ATTENTION: Before purchasing, carefully check the pump for signs of
damage. All types of mechanical damage can cause health and life risks and are not
covered by the warranty.
2. USAGE
OPTI EKO pumps are intended for forcing circulation in heating installations.
They can be used in single and two-pipe installations as well as when installing floor
heating. The pump is equipped with a system that automatically adjusts the pump
characteristics to the installation in which it works.
Thanks to the permanent magnet pump design and the electric motor powered
by the frequency converter, the pump can adapt its operation to the current demand,
thus reducing energy losses. Its design and functional features meet the latest
standards (EuP Directive), and the energy efficiency ratio EEI is less than 0.2 or 0.23
(depending on the model).

Correct installation of the pump:
NOTE: Pumps are not suitable for pumping aggressive, flammable, explosive, high
viscosity liquids containing mineral oils, solid particles and fibrous impurities. Damage
to the pump caused by pressing the above-mentioned types of liquids is not subject to
warranty repairs.
4. PUMP INSTALLATION
Device should be used as intended. Each time before installing the pump,
check whether its condition allows operation in a way that does not endanger your
health or life. There are a few basic rules to remember when installing, operating and
operating:
źAll installation work must be carried out only by specialized personnel
źAll repairs and maintenance should be carried out only after disconnecting the pump
from the power supply
źBefore dismantling, drain the system or close the shut-off valves at the pump inlet
and outlet, and wait until the temperature of the elements drops below 50 ° C.
źIf individual components need to be replaced, please contact the manufacturer's
service.
źAny amendments introduced without obtaining authorization for this release the
Guarantor from any kind of liability.
źAfter completing the work, switch on all protective and safety devices again
Pump should be installed in a straight section of the installation. Shut-off valves
must be fitted on the suction pipe as well as the supply pipe. Please note that the system
pressure does not exceed the permissible operating pressure of the pump and that the
required flow direction is in line with the arrow on the pump body.
Pump should be installed in such a place that there is easy access to it (for
venting). The water in the installation must be treated and not silted under any
circumstances. The system should be filled with liquid and vented.
The pump is self-venting and does not need to
be vented before start-up. Air collected in the
pump can cause noise. This noise stops after
a few minutes of pump operation.
The pump is quickly vented by briefly starting
the pump in gear III, depending on the type
and size of the installation. The pump will be
vented when the noise level is significantly
reduced and it will be set according to the
instructions in the manual.

Terminal box settings can be changed as follows:
Loosen the screws connecting the motor to the pump housing
Turn the engine to the desired position
Tighten the screws again

AUTO (underfloor heating or two-pipe systems)
AUTO function (factory set) adapts the pump operating parameters to the current
heating system demand. Since the pump operating parameters change slowly, it is
recommended to leave the pump with the AUTO function activated before making changes to the
pump settings, for at least a week. In AUTO mode, the pump stores the last operating parameters.
If you select the AUTO function again, the pump will return to the last settings in AUTO mode.
Pump has the option of selecting automatic night reduction. Factory setting for
automatic night setback: inactive.
Following conditions must be met to ensure proper operation of the automatic night setback:
Pump must be mounted on the supply pipe. Automatic night setback does not work if the
pump is mounted on the return pipe.
The installation (boiler) must be equipped with automatic liquid temperature control. Automatic
night reduction is activated by pressing the night reduction button.
From the moment the automatic night reduction is activated, the pump will automatically
change its performance between normal operation and night reduction. Changing the operating
mode between night reduction and normal operation depends on the temperature of the liquid
flowing in the pipe. The pump automatically switches to night reduction mode when the sensor
registers a drop in liquid temperature by more than 10-15 ° C in about 2 hours. The temperature
drop must be at least 0.1 ° C / min. The return to normal operation will take place without a time
delay if the medium temperature rises by approx. 10 ° C.
Operation with automatic night reduction is not possible if the pump has been set to
constant speed I, II or III.

5. ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION - CAUTION
ll installation work must be carried out only by specialized personnel. VOLT
POLSKA is not responsible for any damage to persons or property caused by the
interference of persons who do not have the appropriate permissions.
The electrical connection must be carried out according to the following diagram:
6. STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
User is obliged to supervise the technical condition of the pump, observing all
safety rules mentioned above. The pump requires no special maintenance during
operation. The desired pump performance characteristics are obtained by modifying
the engine speed. Modifications can be made while the pump is running, using a switch
on the terminal box.
