THE VOLVO V70
The Volvo V70 simply defies categorisation. It drives like a
class-leading saloon –with some of the most impressive
engines in its class. It feels like a luxury saloon, yet people
still insist it’s the best large estate on the market. Don’t
worry if you can’t decide either –this price list should help
you find the V70 that’s exactly right for you.
T5
The T5 2.4 litre, turbocharged, in-line, 5 cylinder engine
delivers outstanding performance –producing 260 bhp
and 350 Nm torque. This powerful engine features
variable valve timing on the exhaust side and a responsive
turbocharger designed to deliver maximum torque across
most engine speeds. The high charge air pressure in the
turbo means extra power at high revs –this is an engine
to inspire active driving.
D5
The D5 2.4 litre, turbocharged, in-line, 5 cylinder, common
rail diesel engine delivers very low fuel consumption and
CO2emissions with excellent performance –producing
163 bhp and 340 Nm torque. This extremely advanced
diesel engine is made entirely of aluminium giving it a
similar weight to a petrol engine. This advanced design
combined with second generation electronic common rail
fuel injection and the variable blade turbocharger makes it
one of the quietest and most advanced diesel engines
available on the market.
BI-FUEL
As part of Volvo’s total commitment to the environment,
the V70 Bi-Fuel engines enable you to benefit from the
lower cost of LPG/CNG and reduce harmful emissions to
the atmosphere.
