Dialling on Line 1
T ere are two met ods to begin a call from t e idle state of t e snom300. You can eit er dial wit t e andset
resting in t e cradle and t en pick up t e andset or press speaker key to use t e speakerp one or you can
pick up t e andset or press speaker key and t en dial t e number. In t e latter case, press to indicate t at
t e number is complete and dialling can commence.
T e snom300 s ows t e current communication status in t e display.
Dialling on Line 2
If you ave a call active on Line 1 you can establis a second call on Line 2 by pressing t e L2 Key on t e rig t
and side on t e telep one. Pressing L2 will automatically put Line1 on old and play old music to t e caller
eld on t at line.
You can now dial t e telep one number you wis to reac , remember to press to complete t e dial.
Redial
Press t e Redial Key to redial number you ave recently dialled. Use t e Down-scroll key to scroll t roug t e
numbers you ave recently dialled, and t en t e rig t scroll key to select dial. W en t e display displays t e
correct number and t e word ‘Dial’, press .

To make an announced transfer, pick up an available line (if Line 1 is used by t e incoming call, use Line 2) by
pressing an L1 or L2 button and dial t e extension number of t e telep one you wis to transfer t e call to

Pick-Up groups are defined by your office administrator and enable you to pick up a call ringing on any
Telep one in your Pick-Up group.
If you ear anot er p one ringing and you want to collect t e call on your Telep one, press . T e
call will be collected on your Telep one.
Voicemail.
To access your voicemail, dial . You will t en be presented wit a series of options.
Listen to voicemail messages
Advanced options, press 1 to reply to message if left by a VOSTRON telep one in your Company.
Play previous message
Repeat current message
Delete current message
Forward message to anot er mailbox
Save message in a folder
Help; rewind during message playback
Exit; skip forward during message playback
Mailbox options:
Record your unavailable greeting
Record your busy greeting
Record your name (will be played to vostronpbx users w en you leave t em a voicemail)
You may also collect your voicemail from t e VOSTRON website, your email account or by remote access (if
enabled by your system administrator).

Web voicemail:
Go to www.vostron.com in a web browser, Select Support and
Voice control.
You will be taken to t e vostronpbx log-in page, enter your web
username and password and click ‘Log In’.
Once logged in, select
Messages
T e Messages section enables you to sort and listen to
messages or view faxes t roug t e vostronpbx web
interface.
T ere are t ree options available in t e initial menu, All
Messages displays bot Voicemail and Faxes for your
mailbox, Voicemail displays only voicemail and Faxes.
All Messages, Voicemail OR Faxes
‘All Messages’ will display all received messages, (Voicemails and Faxes) for a desired mailbox.
By selecting eit er voicemail or faxes, you will be presented
wit just voicemail or just faxes
Viewing and Searc ing Messages
To view t e messages for a desired mailbox, click on your
mailbox, a new page will load, titled: Inbox messages for
123456789 (Example number only)
Select t e Directory you want to view (Inbox by default, unless you ave moved messages) and specify t e
Start Date and End Date for your searc .
Specify t e Minimum / Maximum Duration if you wis to specify ow long (in seconds) t e messages in t e
searc results will be and enter eit er t e entire or part of t e number w o may ave left t e message you are
searc ing for. Click update to refine your results.

If you just want to see all results, ensure t e Start Date and End Date are sufficiently far apart and leave all
ot er fields blank.
Playing, Viewing, Copying and Moving Messages.
Clicking on any Voicemail message will launc your computers media player and t e message will play, clicking
on any Fax will launc your computers .pdf viewer and display a fax.
If you wis to move t e sound file or save a copy, tick t e c eck box of t e desired message and click t e
"Copy or move selected >>" button.
First select if you wis to copy or move t e desired file in t e first drop-down menu, t en use t e second drop-
down to c ange t e directory t e message is in or use t e t ird drop-down menu to move or copy t e
message to anot er mailbox. Click t e "Save" button. T e message as now been copied/moved to t e desired
location.
Voicemail to Email :
VOSTRON will email your email account eac time you receive a voicemail, wit your voicemail attac ed as a
.wav file. Click t e voicemail to listen to it on your PC.
Voicemail – Remote Access :
If enabled by your system administrator, it is possible to dial in to your voicemail remotely. You must enter
your mailbox number and PIN number (supplied by your system administrator) to access your voicemail.

Go to www.vostron.com in a web browser, Select Support and Voice control.
You will be taken to t e vostronpbx log-in page, enter your web username and password and click ‘Log In’
(refer to your administrator if you do not ave your log in details).
To make a call, go to:

Select Telep one or Number from t e ‘Make first call to:’ drop-down menu. Now select t e Telep one you
wis to dial from OR enter t e external telep one number you wis to use.
Finally, enter t e telep one number you wis to call/you wis to ave t e call transferred to once your
andset as rung and click ‘Call’.
T e telep one you specified in t e ‘Telep one’ or ‘*Number’ field will ring, w en t e call is answered,
vostronpbx will call t e number specified in t e ‘*W en answered, transfer to’ field. W en you ave finis ed
t e call, simply ang up t e p one to end t e call.
