Congratulations on purchasing your
new vulu cot & bassinette system.
In under an hour you should be able to
assemble your new cot and it will be ready
to meet your beautiful child :)

Safety guidelines and instructions must always be followed before making use of this product,
please retain these instructions for future reference.
WARNING
BASSINET
This Bassinet has been designed for a child up to 9kg or until the child can sit up unassisted.
RECOMMENDED MATTRESS SIZE: This bassinet has been manufactured for use with a mattress which
measures 500mm wide by 710mm long and 50mm in thickness.
The width and length are specic because it is important that the gaps between the mattress and the
sides and ends of the cot will not exceed 40mm. This is to minimize the risk of a childs limb becoming
caught in the gap. The thickness of the mattress has been specied to ensure that the depth of the bassinet
is greater than 500mm with the mattress base in the lower position to minimise the risk of a child climbing
or falling out of the cot.
WARNING TO PREVENT FALLS, THE MATTRESS BASE OF THIS COT SHOULD BE ADJUSTED TO THE
LOWEST POSITION BEFORE THE CHILD CAN SIT UP.
The manufacturers assembly instructions must be followed in detail to ensure all the safety features of the
bassinet are not compromised.
Please ensure that the bassinet is placed at a reasonable distance from curtains, blinds, heaters and power
points.
Please keep medication, string, elastic,small toys or small items, such as money out of reach from any
position in the bassinet.
Discontinue using the bassinet if any parts are damaged or missing.
WARNING: TO PREVENT FALLS, THE MAXIMUM MATTRESS THICKNESS SHOULD NOT EXCEED 50mm.
Ensure that proper ventilation is maintained in and around the bassinet by limiting pillows, toys etc...
Never add a mattress, pillow, comforter or padding.
To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend that infants are placed on there backs to sleep. (unless
advised by physician otherwise)

IT IS RECOMMENDED TO REGULARLY INSPECT AND MAINTAIN MOVEMENT OF LOCKING DEVICES AND SECURITY
OF ESSENTIAL COMPONENTS.
REGULARLY CHECK ALL PARTS FOR WEAR AND TEAR.
YOUR FURNITURE MAY BE CLEANED BY WIPING WITH A DAMP CLOTH AND DRYING WITH A SOFT CLEAN CLOTH.
DO NOT USE ABRASIVES, BLEACH, ALCOHOL OR AMMONIA-BASED HOUSEHOLD POLISHES.
TAKE CARE WHEN HANDLING OR MOVING THE FURNITURE. CARELESS HANDLING MAY CAUSE DAMAGE.
CHECK THE COTS SCREWS AND LOCKS TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE ALL KEPT IN GOOD WORKING ORDER.
IF ANY OF THE PARTS ARE MISSING OR BROKEN YOU SHOULD CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER AND DISCONTINUE
USING THE COT UNTIL THEY ARE REPLACED.

WARRANTY AGAINST DEFECTS
ALL LOVE N CARE/VULU PRODUCTS ARE GUARANTEED FOR TWELVE MONTHS FROM THE
DATE OF PURCHASE.
OUR GOODS COME WITH GUARANTEES THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED UNDER THE
AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW. YOU ARE ENTITLED TO A REPLACEMENT OR REFUND FOR
A MAJOR FAILURE AND FOR COMPENSATION FOR ANY OTHER REASONABLY FORSEEABLE
LOSS OR DAMAGE. YOU ARE ALSO ENTITLED TO HAVE THE GOODS REPAIRED OR REPLACED
IF THE GOODS FAIL TO BE OF ACCEPTABLE QUALITY AND THE FAILURE DOES NOT AMOUNT
TO A MAJOR FAILURE.
THIS COVERS AGAINST FAULTS WHICH DEVELOP THROUGH FAULTY MATERIALS AND
WORKMANSHIP. MISUSE, ACCIDENTAL DAMAGES, NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR OR NEGLECT
ARE NOT COVERED.
IF A FAULT BECOMES APPARENT, PLEASE RETURN THE ITEM TO THE STORE OF PURCHASE
WITH YOUR RECEIPT. YOU MUST INFORM THE STORE WHAT THE DEFECT IS. WE WILL THEN
ARRANGE FOR ITS REPAIR OR IT WILL BE ASSESSED FOR REPLACEMENT AS EXPEDIENTLY
AS POSSIBLE. THE BENEFITS OF THIS WARRANTY ARE IN ADDITION TO OTHER RIGHTS AND
REMEDIES UNDER THE LAW IN RELATION TO THE GOODS ABD SERVICES TO WHICH THIS
WARRANTY RELATES.
IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO RETURN THE ITEM TO THE STORE OF PURCHASE, YOU CAN

SOMEBODY TO INSPECT THE ITEM OR ARRANGE FOR A COURIER TO PICK IT UP AND

Place the top shelf on the bottom shelf

Place two of the main rails
on the edges of the shells.

other side

Attach the main
frame to the shells using
the Allen Key (C) to attach
the 8 Screws (F) on the shell.
Repeat for both sides.

Attach the vulu cap (D) on
the bottom of the main rail. You
will need to use the Allen Key (B)
to insert the M6 x 10 Screws (E).
Tighten the screw with the
allen key. Repeat for all side rails
and ends.

Place the two ends together so they are
facing each other. Slide the bassinet
sides on the bed rails located on the
ends to connect the the two sides
together. Place the four vulu caps (D) on
the top of the main rail ends. Use the Allen Key (B)
with 4 screws (E) and tighten up the vulu caps.

Step Eight
Place the bassinet metal frame on
the bottom of the main frame (N) (Between
the bassinet ends on the main frame. Use
Allen Key (A) to attach four (G) screws on
each end then tighten. When assembling
the base rails you should lay the shells on
the oor. Place something on the oor before
laying the shells down to avoid scratching.

Place the bassinet base on the top
of the assembled bassinet frame.
Make sure that the holes line up. Use
the allen key (A) to tighten the two (H) screws.

Unscrew the 4 (E) Screws from the top
of the main rail with the Allen Key (B). Unscrew
by turning the Allen Key (B) counter clockwise. Pull
the vulu caps (D) from the top of the main rails
and take the screws out of the holes.

Lift the bassinet sides from the
bassinet sides.
Remove the bassinet from the
bassinet frame use allen key (A)
to remove the 2 (H) screws.

Remove the 4 (G) screws from each side
of the bassinet frame by using the
allen key (A). Repeat on the other side.
You can remove the bassinet metal
frames from each side.
