Please follow the guidelines below and read this manual in its entirety to ensure safe operation of the
unit.
The unit can have hot surfaces.
Do not use the unit in an explosive environment.
Avoiding Electrical Shock
Make sure that the voltage rating on the unit corresponds to the mains power voltage.
Make sure the mains power socket (wall socket) has a functioning electrical ground connection
Make sure the units power plug corresponds to the mains power socket.
Always use the units grounded power cord between the unit and mains power socket.
Do not use the unit if the power cord is damaged or if the unit is damage.
Do not open the unit, all repairs should be done by an authorized technician.

Installation
Unpack the delivery. Check that the unit is not damaged and that all parts are included.
Place the unit on the work area. Connect the unit to an electrical grounded mains power socket, use the units
power cord (which has a ground connection).
Check that the unit is OFF; no lights on the power switch or display. (If the unit is ON, green light on the power
switch and red light on the display, then press the down side of the power switch, the lights goes OFF.)
Intended use and overview
The product is for use at a pathology/histology laboratory for in vitro diagnostics, for preparation of human tissue
sections on glass slides for microscopy. It must only be used by suitably trained personnel. The units casing is
made of white powder coated aluminium. The heated surface is coated with black thermoplastic.
The unit is equipped with a power switch with green light, a temperature control unit with digital display, internal
heating element and an overheat protection fuse.

Getting Started
Turn the unit ON by pressing the upper part of the power switch; the power switch shows
green light and the display shows actual temperature.
To change the desired temperature, see instructions 1-2-3 in the figure above.
If you press longer than 3 seconds and the display shows P5 then reset the unit by pressing
the power switch OFF and then ON. Start at 1 again, see above.
Important Guidelines
Please observe that the heated area can be hot.
Service and repair should only be made by an authorized technician.

VWR International warrants that this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period
of two (2) years from date of delivery. If a defect is present, VWR will, at its option and cost, repair, replace, or
refund the purchase price of this product to the customer, provided it is returned during the warranty period. This
warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged by accident, abuse, misuse, or misapplication, or from
ordinary wear and tear. If the required maintenance and inspection services are not performed according to the
manuals and any local regulations, such warranty turns invalid, except to the extent, the defect of the product is
not due to such non-performance.
Items being returned must be insured by the customer against possible damage or loss. This warranty shall be
limited to the aforementioned remedies. IT IS EXPRESSLY AGREED THAT THIS WARRANTY WILL BE IN LIEU
OF ALL WARRANTIES OF FITNESS AND IN LIEU OF THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY.

Installation
Déballer la livraison. Vérifier que l'appareil n'est pas endommagé et que toutes les pièces y sont.
Placer l'appareil sur le lieu de travail. Raccorder l'appareil à une prise secteur reliée à la terre à l'aide de son
cordon d'alimentation (qui comporte un contact pour la masse).
Contrôler que l'appareil est éteint : pas de voyant illuminé sur l'interrupteur, ni l'écran (si l'appareil est allumé, le
voyant de l'interrupteur de mise sous tension est vert et celui de l'écran est rouge, appuyer sur l'interrupteur pour
éteindre tous les voyants.)
Vue d'ensemble et usage prévu
Le produit est destiné à être utilisé dans un laboratoire d’histopathologie pour le diagnostic in vitro, pour la
préparation de coupes de tissus humains sur des lames de verre pour la microscopie. Il ne doit être utilisé que
par du personnel dûment formé. L'enveloppe de l'appareil est en aluminium peint en blanc. La surface chauffée
est revêtu de thermoplastique noir.
L'appareil comporte un interrupteur de mise sous tension avec un voyant vert, une unité de contrôle de
température à affichage numérique, un élément chauffant interne et un fusible de protection contre la surchauffe.

Prise en main
Allumer l'appareil en appuyant sur la partie supérieure de l'interrupteur. Le voyant de ce
dernier vire au vert et l'écran indique la température réelle.
Pour modifier la température, consulter les instructions 1-2-3 de la figure ci-dessus.
Si l'appui dure plus de 3 secondes et que l'écran affiche P5, réinitialiser l'appareil en
l'éteignant puis en l'allumant. Recommencer à 1 (voir ci-dessus).
Directives importantes
Notez que la partie chauffée peut être chaude.
L'entretien et les réparations doivent être réalisés uniquement par un technicien agréé.

Packen Sie die Lieferung aus. Prüfen Sie, ob das Gerät beim Transport beschädigt wurde und ob alle Teile
vorhanden sind.
Stellen Sie das Gerät auf die Arbeitsfläche. Schließen Sie das Gerät an eine geerdete Netzsteckdose an,
verwenden Sie dazu das Netzkabel des Geräts (mit einem Kontakt für den Erdungsanschluss).
Prüfen Sie, ob das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist (Netzschalter oder Display nicht beleuchtet). (Wenn das Gerät
eingeschaltet ist, leuchten der Netzschalter grün und das Display rot; drücken Sie dann auf die untere Hälfte des
Netzschalters, die Lichter erlöschen.)
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung und Übersicht
Das Produkt ist zur Verwendung in einem pathologischen / histologischen Labor für die In-vitro-Diagnostik
bestimmt, zur Vorbereitung menschlicher Gewebeschnitte auf Mikroskopischen Objektträgern. Das Produkt darf
nur von entsprechend geschultem Personal verwendet werden. Das Gerät hat ein Gehäuse aus weißem

Inbetriebnahme
Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie auf die obere Hälfte des Netzschalters drücken (der
Netzschalter leuchtet grün und das Display rot).
Um die Temperaturvorgabe zu ändern, siehe Anweisung 1-2-3 in der obigen Abbildung.
Wenn Sie länger als 3 Sekunden drücken und in der Anzeige P5 erscheint, müssen Sie das
Gerät zurücksetzen, indem Sie den Netzschalter aus- und anschließend wieder einschalten.

Wichtige Hinweise
Beachten Sie bitte, dass die Heizfläche sehr heiß sein kann.

Attenersi alle indicazioni seguenti e leggere interamente il presente manuale per garantire un uso

Disimballare il contenuto. Controllare che il dispositivo non sia danneggiato e che tutti gli elementi siano inclusi
nella confezione.
Posizionare il dispositivo sul piano di lavoro. Collegare il dispositivo a una presa elettrica con messa a terra,
utilizzando il cavo elettrico (previsto con messa a terra).
Controllare che il dispositivo sia SPENTO (OFF); l’interruttore o il display non sono accesi. (Quando il dispositivo
è ACCESO (ON), sull’interruttore è presente una luce verde e sul display una luce rossa, premere quindi sulla
parte inferiore dell’interruttore per spegnere le luci (OFF)).
Uso previsto e visione d’insieme
Il prodotto è destinato all'uso in laboratori di diagnostica in vitro per la preparazione di sezioni di tessuto umano
su vetrini per microscopia. Deve essere utilizzato solo da personale adeguatamente addestrato. L’involucro del
dispositivo è realizzato in alluminio verniciato a polvere di colore bianco. La superficie riscaldata è rivestita con
uno strato termoplastico nero.

Guida introduttiva
Accendere il dispositivo (ON) premendo sulla parte superiore dell’interruttore di accensione;
sull’interruttore apparirà una luce verde mentre sul display sarà indicata l’attuale temperatura.
Per cambiare la temperatura desiderata, vedere le istruzioni 1-2-3 sotto raffigurate.
Se si tiene premuto più di 3 secondi e il display mostra P5 occorre ripristinare il dispositivo
premendo l’interruttore su OFF e nuovamente su ON. Seguire nuovamente le indicazioni
partendo da 1, come sopra indicato.
Importanti linee guida
Prestare attenzione alla superficie riscaldata che potrebbe essere molto calda.
Eventuale assistenza e riparazioni devono essere effettuate solo da un tecnico autorizzato.

Instalación
Desembale la entrega. Compruebe que la unidad no está dañada y que se incluyen todas las piezas.
Coloque la unidad en el área de trabajo. Conecte la unidad a una toma de corriente con conexión eléctrica a
tierra, utilice el cable de alimentación de la unidad (que tiene un contacto para conexión a tierra).
Compruebe que la unidad está apagada, sin luces en el interruptor de encendido ni en la pantalla. (Si la unidad
está encendida, y se muestran la luz verde del interruptor de encendido y la luz roja de la pantalla, presione la
parte de abajo del interruptor de encendido, y las luces se apagarán.)
Uso previsto y descripción general
El uso de este producto está indicado en laboratorios de patología/histología para diagnósticos in vitro, para la
preparación de secciones de tejido humado en portaobjetos de vidrio para microscopía. Sólo debe utilizarse por
personal debidamente capacitado. La carcasa de la unidad es de aluminio con revestimiento de polvo blanco. La

Descripción de los botones y los interruptores (ES)
Introducción
Encienda la unidad pulsando la parte superior del interruptor de encendido; el interruptor de
encendido muestra la luz verde y la pantalla muestra la temperatura actual.
Para cambiar a la temperatura deseada, consulte las instrucciones 1-2-3 de la imagen
anterior.
Si pulsa más de 3 segundos y la pantalla muestra P5, restablezca la unidad poniendo el
interruptor de encendido en OFF y, a continuación, en ON. Comience en el paso 1 una vez
más, véase lo anterior.
