IMPORTANT SAFEW INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always
be followed, including the following:

As with most electrical appliances, electrical parts are electrically live even when the switch is off.
To reduce the risk of death by electrical shock:
Always "unplug it" immediately after using.
Do not use while bathing.
Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
lf an appliance falls into watet "unplug it" immediately. Do not reach into the water.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire or injury to persons:
An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in.
Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on, or near children or infirm persons.
Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recom-
mended by the manufacturer.
Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, or if it has been
dropped and damaged or dropped into water. Return the appliance to a service centre for examination
and repair.
Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance.
Never block the air openings of the appliance or place it on a soft surface such as a bed or couch, where the
air openings may be blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and the like.
Never use while sleeping.
Never drop or insert any object into any opening or case.
Do not use outdoors, or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being
administered.
Do not direct hot air towards eyes or other heat sensitive areas.
Attachments may be hot during use. Allow them to cool before handling.
Do not place appliance on any surface while it is operating.
While using the appliance, keep your hair away from the air inlets.
Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.
Do not operate with a voltage converter.
USER.MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
STORAGE
While not in use, unplug the dryer, allow to cool, and store in its box or in a dry place. Never store it while it is hot
orstill pluggedin. Neverwrapthecordtightlyaroundtheappliance. Neverhangthedryerbythecord,anddo
not put any stress on the cord where it enters the dryer, as it could cause the cord to fray and break.
MAINTENANCE
Your dryer is virtually maintenance free. No lubrication is needed. Keep all openings clear of dirt or dust. Should
dirt or oils accumulate on the dryer, unplug the unit and wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. While using,
untwist the cord from time to time to avoid tangling. lf any malfunction occurs, do not try to repair it yourself.
Return it to an authorised facility, or return it to the manufacturer. The appliance has no user serviceable parts.
CLEANING
Periodically the rear air filter should be removed by twisting the filter anti-clockwise and any hair or other mate-
rial removed. Do not use water or other liquids to clean the filter. Failure to clean the filter can result in the
built-in safety device turning the dryer off due to over heating. (see over)

CAUTION
While it is operating, never obstruct the air inlet or outlet opening and do not place appliance on any surface.
NOTE
The appliance is equipped with a built-in safety device which operates if extreme internal heating should occur.
lf this happens, the heaters will cut off and only cool air will blow out to cool the unit. The dryer should function
as normal.
INSTRUCTIONS ON USE
SPEED SWITCHES
The WAHL Supadryer has separate heat
& speed switches (D & E) that can be
individually set to achieve the desired
setting for your hair type or style. Air
speed can be set to low or high, while
temperature can be set to cool, warm
(A) Anti-slip Rubber lnserts
or hot.
STYTING NOZZLE
The Styling Nozzle concentrates airflow
for targeted drying of hair sections. lt
is used whenever you want to style
your hait e.g. by curlers or laying your
hair over a round styling brush. The
Styling Nozzle is sim ply attached to the air
outlet opening of the hair dryer. lt can
be turned in any position you want.
Nozzle must never touch the hair
di rectly.
COOL SHOT BUTTON
A cool shot button (B) can be used for
short bursts of cool air to "lock" in a
particular style, especially tight curls
when using a round styling brush.
IONIC GENERATOR
The ionic generator can be turned on or
off with the switch (F) to create the de-
sired conditioning effect. The light (C)
indicates whether the ionic generator is
on or off.
DIFFUSER
The Styling Diffuser is used to dry hair
leaving a natural curl in place. The dryer
should be operated on the low airflow
speed and warm temperature set-
ting (DO NOT use the hot temperature
position when Diffuser is attached).

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are
entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure or for compensation for any other reasonably
foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail
to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Australia & New Zealand:
Unity Agencies Pty. Ltd. or Unity Agencies NZ Ltd warrants to the original purchaser that this product
will be free of defects in materials, workmanship and manufacturing, for a period of 2 years from the
original purchase date. rPlease Note: Where the product is purchased for professional or commercial use, a 12
month warranty will apply.
The benefits given to the purchaser by this warranty are in addition to other statutory rights and
remedies of the purchaser under the Competition and Consumer Regulations 2010 and/or other
applicable state or federal regulations or laws in Australia or New Zealand.
Subject to the terms and conditions stated below and upon production of the proof of purchase, for example,
purchase receipt or tax invoice, Unity Agencies Pty Ltd or Unity Agencies NZ Ltd will at its option,
and without cost to the purchaser, replace or repair this product or any component part, which
upon examination, by an authorised Wahl Repair Agent, is found to be defective in materials,
workmanship or manufacturing.
This Worronty Agoinst Deled sholl not apply if:
a) The compliance label or any other identifying marks have been removed from the product or have been
rendered illegible on the product.
b) The product is connected to any voltage other than that shown on the compliance label on the product or
product packaging.
c) The defect in the product is caused by other products with which it is used.
d) The product has been subjected to misuse, abuse, neglect or accidental damage.
e) The product has been used other than for the intended purpose or not in accordance with the
lnstruction Manual.
f) The product has been tampered with and/or modified from its original specification.
g) A repair has been made or attempted to the product by the purchaser or any other person not
authorised by Unity Agencies Pty Ltd or Unity Agencies NZ Ltd.
h) The product fails for reasons other than defective materials, workmanship or manufacturing.
i) The purchaser fails to perform periodic product maintenance, as stated in lnstruction Manual, such
as cleaning and storage of the appliance.
This Worronty Agoinst Defed does not cover:
j) Damage or failure resulting from exposure to liquids, moisture, fire, smoke or damage caused by Acts of Nature.
k) Wear & tear to moving parts as would normally be expected during use of the product for its intended purpose.

l) Products not purchased in either Australia or New Zealand.
m) Causes external to the product, such as electric power fluctuations or failure.
Unity Agencies Pty Ltd or Unity Agencies NZ Ltd does not accept any liability pursuant to this Warranty for
any consequential damage or economic loss whether direct or indirect, to any person or property,
arising from breakdown or failure of the product.
The liability to Unity Agencies Pty. Ltd. or Unity Agencies NZ Ltd., under the Warranty Against Defect is limited to
the lesser of the replacement cost or repair cost of the product.
This Warranty Against Defects is given by Unity Agencies Pty Ltd or Unity Agencies NZ Ltd and no other person or
organisation is authorised to alter its provisions and conditions.

1) Handy Hints Guide - Before returning an item for a warranty claim. Visit www.wahl.com.au/handyhints
as you will find valuable information regarding simple methods of making sure your appliance is
operating at peak performance. Many items returned for warranty simply need a slight tuning adjustment,
so please check this information before returning any product, as it may very well save you time & effort.
2) For any warranty claim, simply return the product to the place where the original purchase was made,
along with your proof of purchase. i.e. (Store receipt , tax invoice or other documentation relevant to the
original purchase). The return of goods for warranty claim must be made within the warranty period,
in this case 2 years from the original date of purchase or 12 months if used for professional or commercial use.
3) lf you are unable to return the product to the place of purchase, please contact Unity Agencies Pty Ltd
(Australia) or Unity Agencies NZ (New Zealand), via the telephone, fax or email (details provided at the
end of this document), so alternative arrangements can be made for the return of the goods.
4) Should it be necessary for the products to be returned to Unity Agencies Pty Ltd or Unity Agencies NZ Ltd,
any costs involved will be borne by the receiver and not the purchaser, unless it is found the goods
are not covered under the warranty for any of the reasons listed in sections A to M above, or are
outside of the warranty time frame.
5) During the warranty period Unity Agencies Pty Ltd or Unity Agencies NZ Ltd will replace or repair any
defective product, however if the product includes a number of accessory items, then it is possible
onlythe defectiveitemwill bereplaced. Original packagingwill notbereplacedunder warrantyunlessfaulty.
5) Warranty Against Defect will continue on the replaced or repaired product and will expire on the same date as
for the original warranty, being 2 years from the original purchase date of the product or 12 months if used for
professional or commercial use.
