CONTROL FEATURES
The water conditioner must be installed with the inlet, outlet, and drain connections made in
accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. Installation must meet applicable plumbing
codes.
START UP INSTRUCTION “BACKWASHING “BW” AND RAPID RINSE “RR”
1. The startup sequence MUST be allowed to finish its entire set of cycles.
2. Pushing and holding the Extra Cycle button will initiate this.
3. Backwash is a rapid upward flow of water that loosens the media bed and flushes particles,
dirt and sediment filtered in the bed out to the drain. NOTE! Water should be clear at the
end of the (BW) cycle if not repeat until water is clear.
4. Rapid Rinse is a fast flow of water down through the media tank that follows a Backwash
cycle. This flushes all remaining organics from the tank and packs the carbon bed for
efficiency. NOTE! Water should be clear at the end of the (RR) cycle if not
repeat until water is clear.
5. Momentarily push the Extra Cycle button this will que up a cycle for that night at 12:00.

USER PROGRAMMING
The control panel is designed to operate under most conditions with mimimal programming. Follow the
procedures below to set up the control for normal operation. See Master Programming section in the Service
Manual If custom programming is desired.
NOTE: Some items may not be shown depending on control configuration. The control will discard
any changes and exit User Programming Mode if a button is not pressed for 60 seconds.
The information below explains the information in the User Programming:

RT REFRESH THE TIME OF THE DAY THAT
THE SYSTEM WILL CYCLE

Setting Time of Day
1. Press and hold EITHER the Up or Down button until the programming icon replaces the service icon and
the parameter display reads TD.
2. Adjust the displayed time with the Up and Down buttons.
3. When the desired time is set press the Extra Cycle button to resume normal operation. The unit will also
return to home screen after 5 seconds if no buttons are pressed.
User Programming Mode Steps
1. Press and Hold the Up and Down buttons for 5 seconds while in service mode.
The time of day is NOT set to 12:01 PM.
2. Use this display to adjust the Day Override. This option setting is identified by “DO” in the upper left hand
corner of the screen. (Recommend days – no less than 7 and no more than 30).
3. Press the Extra Cycle Button to return to the home screen.
Press the Extra Cycle button. Use this display to adjust the Regeneration Time.
This option setting is identified by “RT” in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.
***NOTE: A FLASHING TIME OF DAY DISPLAY INDICATES A RECENT LOSS OF POWER. PUSH ANY BUTTON TO CLEAR!
