•Use plywood backing in walls whenever possible, to ensure security to wall.
NOTE:
•When installing mirrors, be sure that distance between center of posts is correct before drilling
into wall.
•Do all painting, staining or wall papering before accessory installation.
1) Determine where you want to install the mirror.
2) Place mirror assembly on wall at desired position and ensure that it is level.
3) With a pencil, mark the centers of the mounting hole positions on the Mounting Base
Assembly (4).
4) If using the supplied Drywall Togglers/Anchors (8), drill a 5/16” hole at each marked position.
NOTE: On tile surfaces, hollow wall anchors are required (not supplied).
5) Insert anchors into holes until flush with the wall (a hammer may be needed to lightly tap the
anchors flush).
6) Secure the Mounting Base Assembly (4) to the wall using the supplied Screws (7).
7) Install the remaining Escutcheon (1) and Post (2) pieces if necessary to finish installation of
mirror assembly posts.
NOTE: Some mirror assemblies will require the Post (2) to be secured to the Mounting
Base Assembly (4) with a provided External Post Set Screw (6).
8) Attach Mirror (13) to Mirror Holder (3) with the provided Nylon Tip Set Screws (10), being sure
to place the Mirror Holder Felt (12) at the metal-to-mirror contact point.

NOTE: For Oval or Round Mirrors (0.9B & 0.9C)
For oval and round mirrors, it is advised that the mounting post assemblies be installed
slightly below center, at a perpendicular angle to the tangent line. This provides the mirror
assembly with extra support.

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INFORMATION
•DO NOT USE PLUMBER’S PUTTY ON ANY OF THE BRASS COMPONENTS
-This will cause the finish to tarnish and void the warranty. A non-corrosive Alkoxy Silicone
is recommended.
To help ensure the beauty of brass accessories, never install an item until construction is almost
completed and after:
•Workmen have finished treating nearby tile or marble with acid or chemicals.
•The air conditioning or heat has been turned on.
•The room has been painted or stained.
