1. Before adjusting the magnification, p ease oosen the set-screws slightly as shown in Figure 1,
then fo ow the Magnification Reference Tab e 1 to achieve the corresponding magnification.
Examp e: To gain 5X Magnification
i) Loosen the set-screws s ight y* on both ends
ii) Refer to Tab e 1 to obtain the N1 and N2 va ue i.e. 4.7 and 2.3 respective y in this examp e
iii) Rotate and a ign N1 and N2 va ue respective y with the Referenced Indicators
iv) Tighten both set-screws to avoid misa ignment
* I portant Note:
- Upon oosening the set-screws, p ease DO NOT remove the screws entire y from the
expander.
- Upon adjusting the sca e, p ease DO NOT rotate the mount barre a the way down.
This may cause the expander broken into two parts.
- Once it breaks into two parts, the va ues in Tab e 1 is voided if user try to re-assemb e
the broken parts by yourse f.
- In this case, the expander has to be sent back to supp ier for reassemb y and re-
abe ing the stickers.
