Instructions for cleaning and sterilization

This instruction guide aims to clean and sterilize your
E.32, E.32 groove, E.12, E.12 groove for common use .
For other instructions, please refer to the USER MANUAL of each model.
For your comfort it’s recommended to clean the device regularly. Please clean the instrument following these
instructions. Cleaning conducted by a process other than the one described in this instruction may cause
deterioration or damage to the equipment.
1- Clamping unit and clamping parts
Cleaning of the clamping unit and clamping parts should be done regularly twice a day, or when different persons are working
with the machine - before changing the user. Clean with Cidalkan wipes incl. alcohol. disinfectant or other alternative.
2- Edging chamber visor
Cleaning of the visor should be done regularly twice a day, or when different persons are working with the machine - before
changing the user. Clean with Cidalkan wipes incl. alcohol. disinfectant or other alternative.

3- Cleaning of the touchscreen
Clean the screen and part infront of the touche screen
after every use with Cidalkan wipes or other alternative.
4- Cleaning of layout plate and lens holder
Clean the layout plate and lens holder after every use with
Cidalkan wipes or other alternative.
5- Cleaning of lens blocker arm
Clean the lens blocker arm after every use with Cidalkan
wipes or other alternative.
6- Cleaning of the tracer drawer and
cover
Clean the tracer drawer and cover after every use with
Cidalkan wipes or other alternative.
Only use the below recommended
solutions. Other solutions may damage or
discolour the device.

The screen must be wiped gently without
applying excessive force.
Every mechanical parts must be wiped
gently without applying excessive force.
7- Cleaning the ON/OFF switch
The ON/OFF switch at the side should be cleaned with Cidalkan
wipes everytime after switching off the machine.
Recommendation is to clean it after you take off your gloves.
8- Cleaning of the toolsbox
Proceed to a regular cleaning of the exterior of the toolsbox and
particularly handles.
9- Cleaning of the external
body of the device
Please proceed to clean regularly the exterior of the device.
Most important the region around the edging chamber, the
region around the touchscreen, the region around the layout
plate and, in case of the E.32 (Groove) the region around the
Tracing Unit.
Before cleaning the unit, turn it off and unplug it from the
electric outlet.To clean the plastic surface of the device gently
wipe the top, bottom, and front surfaces.
