This exclamation mark, framed in an equilateral triangle, draws the operator’s attention to the fact that very important
directions are available and the operator should read and follow the information with particular interest.
Obligation to recycle waste materials into the production process and to safeguard the natural resources and protect
the environment.
Marking of switches, articles, etc. in the pictures of this operating manual. The first number begins with the letter A, for
the marking (e.g. article D) and the second number is the current numbering of the picture (e.g. picture 6.2) within a
section e.g. 6.1 Inspection. The marking always refers to the accompanying or following description; otherwise the
description refers to a marking in another picture.
4 Regulations for use of the Slab Stands
Please pay particular attention to the information concerning the use of the machine.
Attention: danger of injury!!
Inappropriate use leads to personal injuries and damage to materials!!
This machine is especially conceived for one or several application fields.
The following Chapter explains the possible applications and the possible dangers.

operation, by making the machine unusable thus making sure that there’s no danger to other people!
19. If disposing of the machine or parts thereof, dismantle and separate the different materials, which can then be
disposed of to be recycled!
4.4 Machine Identification Plate
The identification plate informs about the origin, identity as well as year of
construction and, if necessary, about the maximum carrying capacity.
By the supply please compare the identification plate with the data on the
first side of the operating instructions. If the data differ from each other,
please contact immediately the dealer or the manufacturer.

5.2 Removing the Transportation Packaging
The slab stand is usually delivered in cardboard packaging.
Before unpacking please compare the attached delivery note with the supplied articles!
Remove the transportation packing:
•Release the adhesive strips and/or the strapping belts and unpack the contents carefully!
•Be careful by unpacking the device, in order to prevent damages to the contents!
•Strong blows to the slab stand on sharp edges can damage the surface protection and/or parts of the assembly!
•Dispose of the packing wastes for recycling according to the local guidelines!
5.3 Assembly Instructions
The slab stands has to be assembled.
Please read carefully the assembly instruction, in order to use the slab stand in the best way.
Pay attention that the protective coating of the metal parts will not be damaged by sharp edge articles!
Any defects, caused by incorrect assembly and operation are not covered under the
Warranty by the dealer respectively the manufacturer!!
The easy assembly of the slab stands can be performed by means of any ordinary tools:
Features of the ground foundation:
•Make sure that the ground is absolutely horizontal and even, otherwise the risk of tilting and breakage can occur, caused by
irregular charge!
•Place the slab stands on a firm ground.
•Make certain that these features are accomplished, by using a spirit-level or by shaking the slab stands.
•Make certain that the ground has adequate load capacity!
•Always adhere to the regulations for the prevention of accidents!
Mounting of the rails:
•While handling the slab stand always wear the appropriate protective clothing, in accordance with the valid rules for the
prevention of accidents! This includes: Working gloves and working clothes in accordance with the valid regulations and
Safety shoes in accordance with the valid regulations.
•Place the rails upright, parallel and with a safe distance from each other, directly on the ground (Picture. 4.1)
•The distance a = b must correspond to the slab width.
•The closer the top margins of the rails will be to the top edges of the stone slabs, there will be less risk of lateral tilting of the
stone slabs.
Picture 4.1 –Construction drawing of the perforated rails Example RR
To fasten the Iron tubes:
Place the Iron tubes into the holes, and pay attention to following points:
•Utilize and install the supplied Iron tubes uniformly onto the two rails (10 / 8 pipes each rails)!
•Distribute the Iron tubes on the rails, so that the tubes are parallel to each other. It means: If you put the iron tubes in the
holes 1,4,7,10, .. of a rail, consequently you have to put the other pipes in the same holes (1,4,7,10...) of the other rail!
•Make sure that the tubes are completely inside the holes!
•Check to see whether all Iron tubes are fully-functional and have no deformations or splits.

6 Operating Instructions for the Slab stands
•Load the Slab stands always starting from the middle and
distributing the load over the whole length.
Attention! Risk of tilting by irregular loading on the supporting
tubes!
•Avoid loading the iron tubes only from one side! The bearing
edges of the slab have always to be vertical with respect to
the perforated rails!
•While loading avoid collisions and blows on the tubes!
Release the slabs by means of a suitable lifting gear and
lean the slabs carefully against the iron tubes!
Attention! Avoid any crush or collision while loading
and discharging the slabs!
Danger of tilting and crushing!
Picture 5.1 –Assembled Slab Stand Type RR
6.1 Carrying Capacity of the various Slab Stands
•Lean the slabs against the Iron tubes as steeply as possible and avoid overcharging the iron tubes. Pay attention to the
following drawing concerning the minimal front tilt angle according to the total slab thickness (Picture 6)!
Attention!
Risk of tilting and crushing by overloading the iron tube, caused by reduced
clearance angle or larger load!
Picture 5.2 serves to clarify the following tables and diagram as well as the utilized terminology and serves as an example!
