IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed.
These include the following:

1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a sage way
and understand the hazards involved. Children shallnot play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance shall not be made by
children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
2. Bread may burn. Therefore toasters must not be used near or below curtains and
other combustible materials. They must be watched.
3. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
4. The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or
separate remote-control system.
5. The surfaces are liable to get hot during use.
6. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
7. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
8. WARNING: This electrical appliance contains a heating function. Surfaces, also
different than the functional surfaces, can develop high temperatures. Since
temperatures are differently perceived by different persons, this equipment shall be
used with CAUTION. The equipment shall be touch only at intended handles and
gripping surfaces, and use heat protection like gloves or similar. Surfaces other than
intended gripping surfaces shall get sufficiently time to the cool down before getting
touched.
9. Do not place any part of this toaster in water or any other liquid.
10.Prior to first use, the toaster should be used for a few minutes without bread in it.There
will be some smoke at first; this is entirely normal.
11.Do not touch the hot surface.
12.Do not use outdoors.
13. Use only pre-sliced bread.
14. Do not insert oversized foods, metal foil packages, or metal utensils into the
toaster. This may result in electric shock.
15. Do not use the toaster near curtains, upholstery or other decorative fabrics, as
they can easily catch fire and cause a safety hazard.
16.Do not remove food from the toaster while the plunger is down.
17. Do not remove the crumb tray while the toaster is plugged in. Disconnect from
power supply, wait for it to cool, then remove the crumb tray.
18. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is
Operating.
19. Warning: The use of small bread slices (smaller than 85 x 85mm) could lead to a
burning hazard when the bread is removed from the toaster. Immediately after use the

surfaces next to the toast slits are very hot.

OPERATION
Place your toaster on a flat, dry, stable surface.
Plug the toaster in, and adjust it to your required toasting time, using the timing control
knob (5)
Place bread or other food suitable for toasting into the slot, then press down the start control
/knob (1). It will remain down until the bread is toasted.
If you wish to stop the toasting process, press the Stop button (4). This will automatically
eject the toast, and Stop the heating elements.
If the bread sticks in the toaster, unplug it, wait for it to cool, and then remove the bread.
NEVER USE METAL UTENSILS TO REMOVE THE BREAD.
After use, wipe away crumbs using a dry cloth.
Always allow at least 1 minute’s cooling time between cycles if toaster is being used more
than once at a time.
Must put in the bread when using the toaster, can not use the toaster without bread.
CLEANING AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Note: Should be allowed to cool completely before cleaning.
Unplug from the power outlet (mains).
To remove crumb slide out the crumb tray and discard crumbs. Wipe clean and replace,
never operate the toaster without crumb tray in place.
DO NOT use coarse or abrasive sponges/cloths or steel wool to clean the toaster.
Never spray or apply cleaner directly onto or into the toaster –cleaner should be applied to
a soft cloth.
The outside of the toaster should be wiped with a soft, damp cloth, and polished with a soft,
dry cloth.
•After cleaning, wait a few minutes for the toaster to dry completely before use.

Waste electrical and electronic equipment are a special waste
category, collection, storage, transport, treatment and recycling are
important because they can avoid environmental pollution and are
harmful to health. Submitting waste electrical and electronic
equipment to special collection centers makes the waste to be
recycled properly and protecting the environment. Do not forget!
Each electric appliance that arrives at the landfill, the field, pollutes
the environment!
