UPLOAD LIMIT DEVICE.
►The hoist is designed to be used only in vertical
elevation and never to elevate people or animals
►It is tted with a end race lever which function is
to make stop the motor of the hoist once the load
has been elevated to its maximum height (11)
►Never modify or retire this lever for safety.
DOWNLOAD LIMIT DEVICE.
►The hoist is equipped with a safety device that
will avoid an excessive unrolling of the cable in the
download process ►When two cable turns left in
the reel a limit switch will be activated and stop the
motor to avoid risk of accidents.
MAINTENANCE.
►The hoist has been designed for a long working
life with minimum maintenance ►Optimum use
depends on correct care of the hoist and regular
cleaning ►To prevent accidents, always unplug
the hoist from the power source before cleaning
or performing any maintenance ►The hoist may
be cleaned eectively using compressed air after
each use ►If compressed air is not available, use
a brush to remove dust from the hoist ►Motor
ventilation vents and switch levers must be dept
clean and free of foreign matter ►Do not attempt
to clean by inserting pointed objects through
openings ►Cetain cleaning agents and solvents
damage plastic parts, among them are gasoline,
carbon tetrachloride, chlorinated cleaning solvents,
ammonia and household cleaners containing
ammonia ►Do not use any of these to clean the
hoist ►Should excessive sparking occur, have a
Werku® ocial repair service exam and/or replace
the carbon brushes.
FREQUENT VERIFICATIONS.
►
Periodically check that the steel cable is in good
conditions, it may not be worn away nor damaged
(12) ►Check the conditions and tightening of the nuts
securing the hoist clamps (13) ►Periodically check
that motor stop emergency switch and the operation
swith are in good operating conditions (14).
THERMAL PROTECTION.
►This hoist disposes of a thermal protection
against overloads of work or electrical tensión
►When working continuously the motor during
minutes, the heat screen will automatically make
it stop in order avoid failures ►After minutes of
rest, the motor will work again (75-25%).
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION.
►The materials and components that have
been used to manufacture this product can be
re-used and recycled ►Werku®is adhered to
an Integrated Management System that is in
charge of the correct elimination of the residues
of this product ►Do not eliminate this product
with domestic residues ►Werku® oers to its
clients a free collection service of these residues
through any of its sale points, or in the collection
points established by the Integrated Management
System or in the recycling point of your locality.
WARRANTY AND TECHNICAL SERVICE.
►Apart from the legal guarantee, Werku® oers
an additional commercial guarantee ►This
commercial guarantee covers the repair of all
defects found due to faults in the materials or
manufacture ►For this cover to be eective it is
necessary for these defects to appear within the
validity period ►The consumer is entitled to free
repair of all defects that Werku®recognises as
included in the commercial guarantee (shipping
costs, labour costs and materials included) as
chosen by Werku®, either via the repair or by
replacement (if necessary with a later model)
►This commercial guarantee does not aect
consumer’s rights established by law according
to Directive 1999/44/CE ►This commercial
guarantee is valid for 24 months ►If this product
is destined for professional or industrial use,
the validity period is 12 months ►The validity
period starts on the date of purchase by the rst
consumer ►This date is shown on the invoice or
receipt of purchase ►Actions for claims against
this commercial guarantee expire six months
from the end of the validity period ►Any claims
arising from this commercial guarantee must
be presented to the distributor or the Technical
Assistance Service ►To do so you must present
this guarantee correctly completed and stamped
by the distributor, together with the sale invoice
