warrantydoesnotcoverincompleteorimproper
installation.Youwillbechargedaservicefeeforany
servicecalltorectifyimproperorincompleteinstallation.
• Theseinstructionsapplytofreestandingapplicationsonly.
• Ifyourdishwasheristtedwithawaterinlethosewithsafety
valve,youwillneedanopeningofatleast45mmx90mm
inyourcupboardsinordertofeedthehosethroughit.

Thedimensionsshownbelowareinmillimetres.Theheightof
850mmiswiththelevellinglegsscrewedinattheminimumheight.


allowsforsomeclearancesothatthedishwashercanbe
pushedintoplace.
Note: if the opening is greater than 600mm wide then a
suitable width filler piece should be secured to the cupboard
before installing the dishwasher.

Puttheapplianceadjacenttoawatertapandawaterdrain.
Theplinthofafreestandingapplianceisnotadjustable.Do
notremovetheappliance’sworktopifyouwanttouseitas
afreestandingunit.Itisnotnecessarytoremovetheworktop
wheninstallingunderastandardkitchenbenchtop.Only
removetheapplianceworktoptoinstallunderaclosetting
sinkunitorkitchenworktop(820mm).
Makesurethatthedimensionsoftherecessagreewiththe
givendimensions.

1.Removetherearscrews.
2.Pulltheworktopbehindtheappliance.
3.Lifttheworktopandmoveitfromthefrontslots.
4.Levelofftheapplianceusingtheadjustablefeet.
5.Installtheapplianceunderthekitchenworktopensuringthat
waterhosesarenotkinkedorsquashed.
Theappliancemustbeeasilyaccessibletoatechnicianif
repairisnecessary.
 

llerpiecemayberequired.

Fittheadhesivesteamprotectionontothefrontpartofthe
worktop,alongtheentirewidth.

Theinlethoseshouldbeinspectedevery12monthsfor
deteriorationandreplacedifnecessary.

acceptable.
 –Apressure-reducingvalvemustbettedifthecoldwater
supplyexceeds800kPa.(Referalsototheremarksinthe
sectionbelowconcerningwaterhammer.)
• Water hammer
 Quickactionhouseholdtapsandfastactingwatervalves
onappliancescancausewaterhammer.Thiscanresultin
veryhighwaterpressures.Highpressurecancausefailure
ofthepressurereducingvalve(wheretted),orthewater
valveinyourdishwasher.


Thesevalvesalsoactasapressurereducingvalvewith
theaddedbenetsof:
 –Reducingthechanceofabursthose
 –Reducingthewaternoisewhilstthedishwasherislling
withwater
 Pressurereducingvalves,watertemperaturetempering
valvesandnoisereductionvalvesareavailablefrommajor
plumbingsuppliers.DONOTconnectyourdishwasherto
theoutletofanunpressuriseddisplacementinstantaneous
waterheater,(forexampleapushthroughtypesinkheater)
asdamagetotheheatermayresult.
• Water inlet hose with safety valve
 Somemodelsaresuppliedwithaninlethosethathas
adouble-walledwaterhoseandasafetyvalveonthe
threadedhosettingnexttothetap.Thereforethewater
inlethoseisonlyunderpressurewhilethedishwasher
islling.Ifthewaterinlethosestartstoleakduringthis
operation,thesafetyvalve,controlledbythedishwasher,
cutsoffthewatersupplytopreventooding.
Pleasetakecarewheninstallingthesafetyinlethose:
• Thedistancebetweenthebottomedgeofthesafetyvalve
andtheooronwhichthedishwasherisstandingmustbe
atleast300mm.
• Theelectricalcableforthesafetyvalveisinthedouble-
walledwaterinlethose.Do not immerse the water inlet
hose or the safety valve in water.
• Donotattempttoshortentheinlethose.
• Ifthewaterinlethoseorthesafetyvalveisdamaged,
immediatelyturnoffthepowerandremovethemainsplug.
• Awaterinlethosettedwithasafetyvalvemustonlybe
replacedbyaqualiedServiceEngineer.
• Ifyourdishwasheristtedwitha“safetyhose”youwill
needanopeningofatleast45mmx90mminyour
cupboardsinordertofeedthehosethroughit.
• Ensurethathosesarenotcrushedorkinkedunderor
behindthedishwasher.
• Afterconnectinghosetothetap,turnthetaponand
checktoensurethattherearenoleaks.

• Thedrainhosemustbefreeofkinksandobstructions.
• Thehighestpointofthehoseshouldnotbemorethan
1metrefromtheoorandshouldhaveacontinuousfall.
• Thedrainhosemaybelengthenedusingadditionallengths
andconnectors,whichcanbepurchasedfromElectrolux
SpareParts.The extension length must not exceed 2 metres.
Remove internal membrane from drain spigot
Whenconnectingthedrainhosetoanundersinktrapspigot,
the entire plastic membrane must be removed.
Failuretoremoveallthemembranewillresultinfoodparticles
buildingupovertimeeventuallyblockingthedishwasherdrain
hosespigot.

• Safetystandardsrequiretheappliancetobeearthed.
• Priortousingtheapplianceforthersttime,ensurethatthe
ratedvoltageandtypeofsupplyontheratingplatematch
thatofthesupplywheretheapplianceistobeinstalled.
 Thefuseratingisalsotobefoundontheratingplate.
• Alwaysplugthemainsplugintoacorrectlyinstalled
approvedsocket.
• Multi-wayplugs,connectorsandextensioncablesmustnotbe
used.Thiscouldconstitutearehazardthroughoverheating.
• Ifnecessary,havethedomesticwiringsystemsocket
replaced.Iftheelectricalsupplycordhastobereplaced,
contactyourlocalCustomerCarecentre.
• Theplugmustbeaccessibleaftertheappliancehas
beeninstalled.
• Neverunplugtheappliancebypullingonthecable.
Alwayspulltheplug.
• Ensurethatthedishwasherhasbeentestedusingtherinse
&holdorquick30cycleandthatthedishwasherllswith
water,washesanddrainswithnoleaks.
Themanufactureracceptsnoliabilityforfailuretoobservethe
abovesafetyprecautions.
