satellitereceiver(IRD)andpersonalvideorecorder(PVR)throughyourVCRforrecording,editing
andtimeshifting.
Notalldevicesarethesameandmanymayneedadditionalcables,adaptersandsetup.Inparticular,
computers,gameconsoles,high-definitionreceiversandprogressiveDVDplayersmustbeset
accordingly.

Video.Eachofthesevideoinputshasacorrespondingsetofstereoleftandrightaudioinputs.These
connectorsarecolor-codedtomatchthecolorsofthecorrespondingconnectorsonotherdevicesand
cables. Usethistoconnecthighdefinition
devicessuchasaterrestrialHDTVreceiver,HDsatellitebox,HDcableboxorprogressivescanDVD
player.
TheYCbCr(480ionly)inputwillonlyaccept.Usethistoobtainbettercolorperformance
fromdevicessuchasaDVDplayer.Thebuilt-inscanlogicwillautomaticallyconvert
interlacedDVDtonon-interlaced.
TheS-VideoandVideoinputsareprovidedforusewithdevicessuchasaVCR,satellitereceiver,

Thesubwooferoutputisusedtoattachanexternalpoweredsubwoofer.
RemembertoenablethisfeaturefromtheAudioMenuoftheLCD-TV.Whenthesubwoofersoftware
commandissettoOn,aninternalcrossovercutsoffthelowfrequencysignaltothebuilt-inspeakers.
WhenthesubwoofersoftwarecommandissettoOff,thebuilt-inspeakerswilloutputfullrangeaudio.

Note:PlasmausersareoftenadvisedtouseFILLALLtostretchallcontenttotheedgesofthescreen
inordertoreduceburn-in.ThisLCD-TVhasnosuchproblemwithburn-in.
Usetoexpandletterboxcontenttooccupymoreofthescreen.Occasionally,youmayfindaTV
programorolderDVDmoviethatisactuallypresentedasletterboxformatwithinanNTSCsignal.
Usethismodetozoomtheimageuptofullscreen.Theunusedportionsonthetopandbottomofthe
