ADD DETERGENTS, CLOSE THE DOOR
AND ADD SELECT THE PROGRAMME
Add detergent as indicated on the front page and as
described in the chapter "Detergent and Additives" in
your instruction for use.
1. Push the On/off button,the light below the
Start/Pause button is bright, the display window
shows the status of default program(cotton 40°C).
2. Push the programme selector to the desired
programme. Then push the Temperature, Start Delay,
Spin Speed button to change the program if neces-
sary.
3. Push the Start/Pause button at least 3 seconds to
start the programme.
SELECT ANY DESIRED OPTION
Push the button(s) of any option(s) desired the respec-
tive indiction lights up. When the combination of the
programme and additional option(s) is not possible,
the indication lights switch off automatically. Unsuitable
combinations of options are deselected automatically.
" Prewash" button
* Only for heavily soiled loads (for example sand,
granular dirt) sensible. Increases the cycle time by
approximately 15 min.
“ Intensive rinse" button
* An extra rinse is added and rinse cycle prolonged.
* This option is particularly suitable for areas with very
soft water, washing baby linen and helps people with
allergies.
"Eco " button
* With a modified temperature profile and a slightly
prolonged washing duration, the optimum combination
of excellent washing result and even lower energy
consumption is achieved, if temperature selected is

above 50°C.
"Easy ironing" button
* Can be used together with cotton or synthetics
programme to make ironing easier.
* Increases the water quantity and the clothes are
spun very gently.
" Rinse hold" button
*The laundry remains in the last rinse water without
processing to the final spin cycle to avoid creasing .
*This option is particularly recommended for the
programme “Synthetics”, "Everyday wash" and "Hand
wash".
*lt is particularly useful if you want to postpone spin-
ning to a later time, or if you want to drain only.
Notes: The programme stops to "Rinse hold" at the
time the "Rinse hold" light in the programme
sequence indication is on. The indication lamp next
sequence the "Start/Pause" button flashes.
Terminate the “Rinse hold" option
*Press the "Start/Pause" button; the programme will
terminate automatically with the final spin cycle for the
preset wash programme.
*lf you do not wish to spin the clothes, press the
"Reset/Drain" button and then press the
"Start/Pause" button.
SYMBOLS IN THE DISPLAY WINDOW
When the programme is running, some symbols light
up in the display window.
(From up to down, left to right)
The first column: (temperature indication) 95, 60, 40,
30, *(cold) .
lf the washer is in “operation” ,the second column
means: prewash, main wash, rinse, hold rinse,
spin/drain.
If the washer is in “Start Delay” , the second column
means 24,12,6,3,1 hours.
The third column: (spin speed indication) 1200, 1000,
800, 400, 0 rpm.
TEMPERATURE, START DELAY AND SPIN
SPEED
Temperature, Spin speed adjustment
When you select a programme, the default tempera-
ture and spin speed shows in the screen. Press "Tem-
perature", "Spin Speed" button to adjust if you want.
Start Delay
The "Start Delay" allows to run the machine at the
consumer's convenience, for example, at night when
the electricity might be cheaper.
*Select the programme , temperature and options.
«Press the "Start Delay" button to select the delay
time by 1, 3, 6, 12, 24 hours.
«Press the "Start/Pause" button. The countdown of
the delay time begins. It shows in the screen.
*Once having pressed the "Start/Pause" button, the
remaining time preselected can be adjusted by press-
ing again the "Start Delay" button.
To cancel the "Start Delay"
*Before you press the "Start/Pause" button
Press other programme selector or press the
"Reset/Drain" button
«After you press the "Start/Pause" button
Press the "Reset/Drain" button for at least 3 seconds,
the start delay time disappears from the screen.
PROGRAMME START
Open the tap and press the "Start/Pause” button, the
indication lamp next to the button lights up. Some
symbols of programme light up in the display window
to show the condition of the machine.
“DOOR OPEN" INDICATION
Before start and after end of a programme, the blue
lamp lights to show that the door can be opened. As
long as a wash programme is running, the door
remains locked, and must on no account be forced
open. In case you have an urgent need to open it
during a running programme, refer to " Cancel (Reset)
a running programme before the end".
RED INDICATIONS
"Water tap closed"
The appliance has no or insufficient water supply,
open the water tap; if the indication still light up, refer

to the "Troubleshooting Guide" in the instruction for
use.
"Clean pump"
Waste water can not be pumped out. Check whether
the drain hose is kinked or the filter must be cleaned;
in the latter case refer to the Instruction for use
("Removing the filter").
"Service"
The appliance stops during the programme. If the
service indication lights up and the start delay LED bar
appears on the display, please contact After-Sales
Service(see "After-Sales Service").
FAVORITE PROGRAMME
When you have done the programme setting and do
not press the "Start/Pause" button, press the "Favor-
ite" button at least 3 seconds to set the programme as
your favorite programme. You can set a favorite
setting for every main wash programme. But if you
want to set another favorite setting for the programme,
the former setting will be covered.
PROGRAMME END
All the lights of the programme sequence indicator are
off in the display window, and the door open indication
lights up.
1.Press the "On/Off" button to disconnect the electric-
ity, close the water tap.
2.Open the door and unload the machine.
3.Leave the door open to allow the drum to dry.
CHANGE PROGRAMME AND/OR OPTIONS
AFTER PROGRAMME START
1. Press the "Start/Pause" button to pause the
programme. The light around the button flashes.
2. Select the new programme (with temperature), any
options and another spin speed if you want.
3. Press the "Start/Pause" button again. The new
programme continues at the same position where the
previous programme was interrupted. Do not add
detergent if already added on original selection. If you
want to adjust the programme when the machine is
running, press “Reset/Drain” button at least 3 sec-
onds, then choose other programme setting button.
CANCEL (RESET) A RUNNING PRO-
GRAMME BEFORE THE END
*Before you select a programme, press the
"Reset/Drain" button, then press "Start/Pause" button
to drain if you want.
«When a programme is running, press the
"Reset/Drain" at least 3 seconds to reset all the
settings and drain. Push the programme selector to
select other programmes.
