BeforeyouinserttheMemorycard,personalisethemenu.
Tosetthemenuyoucanusethebuilt‐inbattery,youcanconnectthecar‐chargercableand
turnonignitionoryoucanstartthecamerabyconnectingtoyourcomputerusingtheUSB
cable.
Removeplasticfilmoverthelens.

1. FormattheClass10MicroSDmemorycard
2. Insertthememorycardbycarefullyinsertingitintothecardslot.Notenoughcare
orroughtreatmentmaycausetheSDcardorthecardslottofail.
3. Ifthedevicedoesnotrecognizethecard,pleasetakeitoutandtryagain.
4. Itisadvisablefromtimetotimetochangethememorycard.
Menu's
Therearetwomenus,youcanswitchbetweenthembypressingthemenubutton"M"once

ortwice,thesecondpresswillswitchfromthefirstmenutothesecondmenu.
FirstMenu‐VideoMenu(OnepressofMbutton)
1. Resolution: ThiscameraisaFullHiDefinitioncamerabutifyouareaway
fromthevehicleforhoursandwanttousetheMotionDetectionfunction,youcan
lowertheresolutionto720PHD.Thiswillgiveyoumorehoursofrecordingonthe
SDcard.
2. LoopRecording: Werecommendyousetthison5Minutes,thatmeansthateach
videoisofa5minuteduration.
3. WDR:TurnWDRon,WideDynamicRangedescribesanattributeof
animagingSensorthatcanrecordgreaterscenedetailsthannormal,
fromshadowstohighlights.
4. MotionDetection:Shouldonlybeonwhenvehicleisparkedandwhenthereisa
powersource.
5. PowerOnRecord:TurnON,thenwhenpowerison,videowillautomatically
record.
6. PowerOffDelay:Setthistowhateverdurationyouwouldlikethecameratokeep
recordingafterpowerifturnedoff.
7. PowerOnDelay:Leavethisoffifyouwantthecameratobeginrecording
immediatelypoweristurnedon.
8. RecordAudio: Turnoffifyouwishtohaveaprivateconversationinthevehicle.
9. DateStamp: Turnonsothattimeanddateisstampedonthevideo.
10. GSensorSet: Werecommendyousetthisat"LOW",theycansometimesbe
verysensitivewhereheavybrakingcancausethevideostobelockedorsavedas
readonly.ThiswillfilluptheSDcardandstoptheLoopRecordingfunction.Ifyou
havethisproblem,turntheGSensorOFF.
SecondMenu‐SetupMenu(TwopressesofMbutton)
1. Date/Time:Setthedateandtime.
2. PlateNumberonMovie:Youcansetyournumberplate,itwillbestampedonthe
video.
3. AutoPowerOff:Setsthecameratoturnoffafterpowerisoff.
4. BeepSound: Camerabeepswhenyousetthemenu.
5. Language: Setsthelanguage,thedefaultisEnglish.
6. TV Mode: TV mode in Australia is PAL.
7. Frequency: Frequency is 50Hz.
8. Screensavers: You can set the screen to turn off after a set amount of time.
9. Exposure: If you feel your video is too bright you can lower the exposure value
to a minus number or vice versa. This is up to your individual taste, my camera is always
set on Zero.
10. White Balance: Set to Auto but change to suit the conditions.
11. Format: Thisfunctionisusedtoformat(refresh)yourSDMemorycard.
12. DefaultSetting:Allowsyoutorestoredefaultsettings.
13. Version: Displaysinformationonyoursoftwareversion.

Reset
Ifthemachinefreezesorwillnotturnon,itcanbecausedbyimproperoperationoran
abnormalsituationsuchassevereheat,reformattheSDcardthenpresstheresetbuttonto
rebootthecamera.Theresetbuttonisonthebottomsideofthedashcam.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Intheeventofthecameranotworkingasitshould,pleasetrythefollowing:
Camerawon'trecord
TurnoffGSensor,Copyanyfilesyouwanttokeeptoyourcomputerorstoragedrive,
ReformatyourSDcard
Ensurethecardhasbeeninstalledcorrectly,duringtheinstallationprocess,you
shouldhearaclickingsound.
Changetheresolution,framespersecond.
Videoisnotclear
Ensurethatthecameralensandyourwindscreenisclean.
Wipeoffthedustanddirtoffthelens.
Menudoesnotrespond
Presstheresetbuttontoinitializethemachine.
CareandMaintenance
Pleasetakeyourcameraoutofthevehicleiftemperaturesexceed50degreesC.Itis
ratedto60degreesbutasimpleruleofthumbisifyoucannotstandtheheat,the
camerawillstruggletoo.
Ifadjustingtheangleofthecameraonyourwindscreenmount,loosenthenutfirst
asyoumaybreakthecameracaseifyouforceit.
