Warranty and Service
Servicing must be undertaken by a registered engineer in accordance with the gas safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 199 , or equivalent country standard and any other standard that may be applicable in the
country of use.
It is recommended that a rregistered engineer services the appliance annually in accordance with the service instructions in the Installation and Maintenance Manual.
WHAT TO DO IF YOUR APPLIANCE IS FAULTY OR YOU REQUIRE SPARES:
(DO NOT TAMPER WITH THE APPLIANCE)

Check the fault chart included with the user instructions to identify the problem.
2.
Follow guide lines on fault chart before contacting service.
3.
If service is required -Complete the Warranty Form and contact the reseller of the product or the home for assistance.
4.
If you are unable to contact the reseller please contact Widney’s service centre as detailed on the Warranty Form or from the details given on the web site www.widney-leisure.co.uk – note you can also
download a warranty claim form from this site if you do not have one with your appliance.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE WARRANTY:
All Widney products are guaranteed against normal operation providing they have been installed and maintained in accordance with the instructions. Widney reserve the right to refuse or charge for any work if the above
terms are not complied with.

REST OF UK and EUROPE
•24 months parts only
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE WARRANTY:
•Replacement of product or part due to defective installation
•Charges for call out for appliances that malfunctions due to gas or water pressure delivery to the appliance.

If you Gas o Elect ic heating appliance is less than 2 yea s old, it will be cove ed by ou 2 yea wa anty (p oviding it has been se viced afte the fi st twelve months). Please efe to the wa anty info mation in the document.
Du ing the wa anty pe iod, the defective p oduct will be eithe epai ed o eplaced at the disc etion of Widney except in the cases listed in the Limitation of Liability Clause of this document.
This limited Wa anty cove s the costs of se vice pa ts and labou equi ed to esto e you p oduct to fully functional condition. Widney will, at its disc etion, epai o eplace any defective p oducts o pa ts the eof cove ed by
this Inte national Limited wa anty with new o efu bished pa ts of the p oduct that a e equivalent to new p oducts in both functionality and pe fo mance. A p oduct o pa t that is epai ed o eplaced unde this Inte national

pe iod. The wa anty pe iod commences on the date of pu chase of the Appliance o the date of commissioning of the home.
Attention: Your original Purchase invoice (sales receipt) and warranty card showing the date of purchase, model number and serial number of the product is your proof of the date of purchase, or proof of purchase of the home.

WIDNEY is not esponsible fo any expo t and impo t cont ol issues, handling fees, ta iffs, impo t duties, and all othe elated fees that may be incu ed du ing t ansfe ing.
Limitation of Liability
Widney ese ves the ights to efuse wa anty se vice of p oducts unde disputable conditions. Widney also holds the ights to decla e final decision whethe p oducts a e within wa anty conditions. The following actions and
damages will esult in voiding the limited wa anty:
•Damage caused by act of natu e, such as fi e, flood, wind, ea thquake, lightning, etc.
•Damage o incompatibility caused by failu e to pe fo m a p ope installation o to p ovide an app op iate ope ational envi onment fo the p oduct.
•Damage caused by impact with othe objects, d opping, falls, spilled liquids, o subme sion in liquids.
•Damage caused by unautho ized epai o disassembling of the p oduct.
•Damage caused by any othe abuse, misuse, mishandling, o misapplication.
•The se ial numbe of the p oduct (o se ial numbe sticke s of its pa ts) has been modified, emoved, blu ed o damaged.
•C acks and sc atches on LCD and plastic mate ial as well as othe defects caused by t anspo tation, handling o custome abuse.
Disclaimer of Warranty
THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSED IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND
OF ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITIES ON WIDNEY’S PART, AND IT NEITHER ASSUMES NOR AUTHORIZES ANY OTHER PARTY TO ASSUME FOR WIDNEY ANY OTHER LIABILITIES. THE FOREGOING CONSTITUTES THE BUYER’S
