Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Ein Betrieb des Wiesel Tuningmoduls ist ausschließlich auf für den öffentlichen Verkehr
abgesperrten Privatgrundstücken und Rennstrecken vorgesehen. Der Betrieb ist innerhalb des
Geltungsbereiches bzw. Wirkungsbereiches der StVO untersagt und nicht zulässig. Achten Sie
drauf, dass andere Personen Ihr getuntes eBike nicht nutzen können (z.B. durch Absperren).
Das getunte eBike ist durch die höhere Geschwindigkeit höheren Belastungen und Verschleiß
ausgesetzt, wodurch sich zusätzliche Sicherheitsrisiken ergeben. Modellabhängig kann das
getunte eBike nicht für die hohen Geschwindigkeiten ausgelegt sein und es ist mit dem Versagen
von sicherheitsrelevanten Teilen (z.B. Bremsen, Rahmen, Reifen, Lenker etc.) zu rechnen.
Lassen Sie diese vor dem Einbau des Tuningmoduls und regelmäßig von einem Fachmann
überprüfen und gegebenenfalls ersetzen. Verkürzen Sie die Inspektions- und Wartungsintervalle,
um der höheren Belastung Rechnung zu tragen.
Durch die höhere Geschwindigkeit ergibt sich ein erhöhtes Unfall- und Verletzungsrisiko.
Ebenfalls erhöht sich das Risiko fremde Sachen oder Personen zu schädigen. Verursachte
Schäden werden mit dem Betrieb des getunten eBikes nicht mehr durch eine private
Haftpflichtversicherung übernommen. Der Bremsweg vergrößert sich und die Anforderungen an
den Fahrer (z.B. Reaktionszeit, Fahrkönnen) nehmen zu. Fahren Sie immer vorsichtig, nutzen
Sie Schutzkleidung wie Helme und Protektoren und bringen Sie sich und andere nicht in Gefahr.
Die Benutzung des Wiesel Tuningmoduls geschieht auf eigene Gefahr und Verantwortung. Für
eventuell gegenwärtig und zukünftig entstehende Schäden an Gegenständen und Personen
durch den Ein- Ausbau und die Nutzung wird keinerlei Haftung übernommen. Holen Sie weitere
technische und rechtliche Informationen ein, bevor Sie das Tuningmodul einbauen. Dies gilt
insbesondere für länderspezifische Vorschriften.
Die Garantie Ihres eBikes kann durch den Gebrauch des Tuningmoduls erlöschen, da die
Benutzung des Wiesel Tuningmoduls eine Modifizierung bzw. Manipulierung Ihres eBikes
darstellt.
Durch herstellerseitige Softwareupdates z.B. im Rahmen einer Inspektion kann die Funktion des
Wiesel Tuningmoduls teilweise oder ganz eingeschränkt werden. Bitte berücksichtigen Sie dies,
wenn ein Update durchgeführt werden soll.

Erste Schritte
Das Tuning ist standardmäß g akt v ert. Sie können sofort nach dem Einbau losfahren und von
der Motorunterstützung oberhalb von 25 km h profitieren.
Um das dauerhaft aktivierte Tuning zu s gnal s eren, zeigt Ihr Tacho nach dem Einschalten für
einige Sekunden eine Geschwindigkeit von 20 km h an.
Wenn Sie fahren, zeigt der Tacho bis 22 km h die echte Geschw nd gke t an.
Oberhalb von 22 km h wird die Geschwindigkeit mod f z ert angezeigt. Die führende 2 und das
Komma haben keine Bedeutung mehr.
So werden z.B. 32 km h angezeigt als 23.2 km h:
Ab einer einstellbaren Geschwindigkeit (werksseitig eingestellt auf 35 km h) wird die
Motorunterstützung abgeschaltet.
Hinweis:
Für eine genaue Geschwindigkeitsanzeige und eine Unterstützung bis zur eingestellten
Abschaltgeschwindigkeit ist eine einmalige Kalibrierung notwendig.

Einstellung vornehmen
Um eine Einstellung vorzunehmen, schalten Sie Ihr eBike e n und bewegen den Magneten am
Hinterrad eine bestimmte Anzahl an dem Geschw nd gke tssensor vorbe . Dieser ist wie ein
Schalter, der einmal kurz gedrückt wird, wenn der Magnet daran vorbei geht. Die Anzahl der
gesendeten Magnetimpulse an das Tuningmodul bestimmt die gewählte Einstellung.
Den Magneten finden Sie an den Speichen Ihres Hinterrades befestigt. Der
Geschwindigkeitssensor ist am Rahmen befestigt, sodass ihn der Magnet bei jeder
Radumdrehung passiert. Idealerweise kippen Sie das
Rad ganz leicht nach links über den Fahrradständer. So
können Sie das Hinterrad ganz leicht mit der Hand
bewegen.
In manchen Fällen ist der Magnet auch in die
Bremsscheibe integriert. Die Funktionsweise ist die
gleiche.

Tuning dauerhaft aktivieren
1) Schalten Sie Ihr eBike e n.
2) Bewegen Sie den Magneten genau 3x am Geschwindigkeitssensor vorbe .
3) Schalten Sie das eBike aus. Warten S e dazu b s das K ox D splay komplett dunkel st.
4) Das Tuning ist nun nach dem Einschalten dauerhaft akt v ert.
Um das dauerhafte Tuning zu signalisieren, zeigt der Tacho nach dem Einschalten nun für ein
paar Sekunden 20 km/h an.
Hinweis:
Bewegen Sie das Rad nicht komplett 3x vor und zurück, sondern nur ein Stück vor, zurück
und wieder vor, so dass der Magnet genau 3x am Sensor vorbe kommt.
Tuning dauerhaft deaktivieren
1) Schalten Sie Ihr eBike e n.
2) Bewegen Sie den Magneten genau 3x am Geschwindigkeitssensor vorbe .
3) Schalten Sie das eBike aus. Warten S e dazu b s das K ox D splay komplett dunkel st.
4) Das Tuning ist nun nach dem Einschalten dauerhaft deakt v ert.
Der Tacho zeigt nach dem Einschalten nun 0 km/h an, um das deaktivierte Tuning zu
signalisieren. Das eBike funktioniert nun wie eines ohne Tuningmodul.

Tuning ein Mal aktivieren
Das Tuning wird nur während der aktuellen Fahrt aktiviert. Nach dem Ausschalten des eBikes ist
das Tuning wieder automatisch deaktiviert.
1) Schalten Sie Ihr eBike e n. Das Tuning muss dauerhaft deaktiviert sein.
2) Bewegen Sie den Magneten genau 2x am Geschwindigkeitssensor vorbe .
3) Warten Sie 5 Sekunden, ohne das eBike auszuschalten, und das Tuning ist nur für d ese
Fahrt bis zum Ausschalten akt v ert.
Nach Ablauf der 5 Sekunden zeigt der Tacho eine Geschwindigkeit von 10 km/h an, um das
aktive Tuning zu signalisieren.
Hinweis:
Dieser Modus lässt sich nur aktivieren, wenn das Tuning zuvor dauerhaft aus ist.

Kalibriermodus
Die Kalibrierung ist für eine genaue Geschwindigkeitsanzeige notwendig.
Während der einmaligen Kalibrierung wird der Raddurchmesser im Tuningmodul auf den im
Tacho angepasst.
So kommen Sie in den Kalibriermodus:
1) Schalten Sie Ihr eBike e n.
2) Bewegen Sie den Magneten genau 5x am Geschwindigkeitssensor vorbe .
3) Schalten Sie das eBike aus und wieder an.
Der Kal br ermodus ist nun aktiv und es wird dauerhaft eine Geschwindigkeit von ungefähr
20 km h angezeigt. Durch Bewegen des Magneten vor dem Sensor stellen Sie nun die
angezeigte Geschwindigkeit auf 20 km/h wie folgt ein:
Geschw nd gke t um ca. 0,1 km/h reduz eren:
1x den Magneten am Sensor vorbe bewegen
Geschw nd gke t um ca. 0,1 km/h erhöhen:
2x den Magneten am Sensor vorbe bewegen
Jedes Kommando wird nach 2 Sekunden übernommen. Zur Bestätigung fällt die Geschwindigkeit
kurzzeitig um 10 km h ab (bei Reduzierung) bzw. steigt kurzzeitig um 10 km h an (bei Erhöhung).
Danach wird die neue, um 0,1 km h veränderte Geschwindigkeit, angezeigt. Manchmal verändert
sich der Tacho auch nicht, sondern erst nach einem weiteren Kommando.
Sobald 20 km h (± 0.1 km h Toleranz) am Tacho stehen, schalten Sie das eBike einfach aus und
die Kalibrierung ist beendet.

Abschaltgeschwindigkeit einstellen
Sie können die Geschwindigkeit einstellen bis zu dieser der Motor unterstützen soll. Die
Standardeinstellung bei einem neuen Wiesel Tuningmodul ist 35 km h.
Führen Sie zuerst die Kalibrierung aus dem vorangehenden Kapitel durch.
So kommen Sie in den Modus, um die Abschaltgeschwindigkeit einzustellen:
1) Schalten Sie Ihr eBike e n.
2) Bewegen Sie den Magneten genau 4x am Geschwindigkeitssensor vorbe .
3) Schalten Sie das eBike aus und wieder an.
Der Modus zum Einstellen der maximalen Unterstützungsgeschw nd gke t ist nun aktiv und
der Tacho zeigt die aktuelle Einstellung an (z.B. 35 km h). Durch Vorbeibewegen des Magneten
vor dem Sensor können Sie nun durch alle Einstellmöglichkeiten durchgehen:
Mögl che Abschaltgeschw nd gke ten: 31 bis 50 km h in 1 km h Schritten
Um die getätigte Einstellung zu übernehmen, schalten Sie das eBike einfach aus. Die Einstellung
wird dauerhaft gespeichert.
Erreicht das eBike im Fahrbetrieb die eingestellte maximale Unterstützungsgeschwindigkeit, so
wird die Geschwindigkeit auf dem Tacho wieder linear ab 25 km h ausgegeben.
Bei einer gefahrenen Geschwindigkeit von 35 km h werden somit 25 km h auf dem Tacho
angezeigt. Bei einer Geschwindigkeit von z.B. 40 km h werden dann 30 km h angezeigt (also
jeweils 10 km h weniger als real).

Intended Use
You can only use the Tuning Module on private ground without public traffic and on private cycle
tracks. The operation is prohibited within the scope of the road traffic regulations. Make sure that
other people cannot use your tuned eBike (e.g. by locking it).
The tuned eBike is exposed to higher loads and wear due to the higher speed, which results in
additional safety risks. Depending on the model, the tuned bike is not designed for the high
speeds and the failure of safety-relevant parts is to be expected. Before installing the tuning
module, have all safety-relevant parts (e.g. brakes, frame, tires, handlebars, etc.) checked by a
specialist and replaced if necessary. Shorten the inspection and maintenance intervals to take
the higher load into account.
The higher speed results in an increased risk of accidents and injuries. The risk of damaging
other people's property or people also increases. Damage caused by operating the tuned eBike
is no longer covered by private liability insurance. The braking distance increases and the
demands on the driver (e.g. reaction time, driving skills) increase. Always drive carefully, use
protective clothing such as helmets and protectors and do not put yourself or others in danger.
The use of the Wiesel tuning module is completely at your own risk and responsibility. No liability
is accepted for any damage to objects and people that may occur at present, or in the future, due
to the installation or removal and the use of the module. Obtain further technical and legal
information before installing the tuning module. This applies in particular to country-specific
regulations.
The warranty of your eBike will cease to exist by using the Tuning Module, since its use means
a modification or manipulation of the eBike.
Through software updates from the manufacturer e.g. during an inspection, the function of the
Wiesel Tuning Module can be partially or completely disabled. Please consider this when an
update is to be carried out.

First Steps
The Tuning is act ve by default once fitted.
To nd cate the Tuning is operational, the speedometer shows 20 km h for a few seconds after
the eBike has been switched on.
The real speed is displayed below 22 km h.
Above 22 km h the speed is displayed mod f ed. The leading 2 and the decimal point no longer
have any meaning.
Example: A speed of 32 km h is displayed as: 23.2 km h
From an adjustable speed (factory setting to 35 km h) the motor support is switched off.
Note:
A one-time calibration is necessary for a correct speed display and support up to the set cut-
off speed.

Settings
To make a setting, sw tch on your bike. Then slide the magnet on the rear wheel in front of the
speed sensor the required number of times. This is like a switch that is pressed once each time
the magnet passes it. The number of magnetic pulses sent to the Tuning Module determines the
selected setting.
The magnet is attached to the spokes of the rear wheel. The speed sensor is attached to the
frame so that the magnet passes it every time the wheel turns. Ideally, you lower the bike slightly
to the left over the bike stand, so you can easily move the
rear wheel by hand.
In some cases, the magnet is also integrated into the
brake discs. It works in the same way.

To indicate the Tuning is operational, the speedometer shows 20 km/h for a few seconds.
Note:
Do not move the wheel completely back and forth 3 times, but only a little forward, back and
forth again so that the magnet passes the sensor exactly 3 times.
Deactivate Tuning Permanently
1) Sw tch on your eBike
2) Move the magnet exactly 3 t mes in front of the speed sensor
3) Switch off the eBike and wa t unt l the K ox d splay s dark
4) The Tuning is now permanently deact vated after switching on
After switching on, the speedometer shows 0 km/h to indicate that the Tuning has been
deactivated.

Activate Tuning once
The Tuning is only operational during the current ride. After switching off the eBike, Tuning is
automatically deactivated again.
1) Sw tch on your eBike. The Tuning needs to be deactivated permanently.
2) Move the magnet exactly 2 t mes in front of the speed sensor
3) Wait 5 seconds without switching off the eBike and the Tuning is only act vated for th s
r de until it is switched off
After the 5 seconds, the speedometer shows 10 km/h for a few seconds to indicate the activated
Tuning.
Note:
The mode described above works only if the Tuning is currently permanently deactivated.

Calibration Mode
The calibration is necessary for an accurate speed display.
During the one-time calibration, the wheel diameter in the tuning module is adapted to that in
the speedometer.
To get into Calibration Mode:
1) Sw tch on your eBike
2) Move the magnet exactly 5 t mes in front of the speed sensor
3) Sw tch off the e bike and then switch it on again
The Cal brat on Mode is now active and a permanent speed of about 20 km h is displayed.
By moving the magnet in front of the sensor you can now set the displayed speed to 20 km h:
Reduce speed by approx. 0,1 km/h:
Slide the magnet in front of the speed sensor once
Increase speed by approx. 0,1 km/h:
Slide the magnet in front of the speed sensor tw ce
Each command is accepted after 2 seconds. To confirm a reduce command, the speed briefly
decreases by 10 km h. To confirm an increase command the speed briefly increases by
10 km h.
The new speed, changed by 0.1 km h, is then displayed.
Sometimes the speedometer does not change either, but only after a further command.
As soon as the speedometer shows 20 km h (± 0.1 km h tolerance), simply switch off the eBike
and the calibration is finished.

Set Support Speed
You can set the speed up to which the motor should support. The standard setting for a new
Wiesel Tuning Module is 35 km h.
First carry out the calibration from the previous chapter.
To enter the mode to set the cut-off speed:
1) Sw tch on your eBike
2) Move the magnet exactly 4 t mes in front of the speed sensor
3) Sw tch off the e bike for about five seconds and then switch it on again
The mode for setting the maximum support speed is now active and the speedometer shows
the current setting (e.g. 35 km h). By moving the magnet past the sensor, you can now go
through all the setting options:
Poss ble sw tch-off speeds: 31 to 50 km h in 1 km h increments
To apply the setting you have made, simply switch off the eBike. The setting is saved
permanently.
At a driving speed of 35 km h, 25 km h are displayed on the speedometer.
At a speed of e.g. 40 km h, 30 km h are displayed (i.e. 10 km h less than real).

Il funzionamento del dispositivo tuning Wiesel è previsto esclusivamente su proprietà private e
su piste da corsa chiuse al traffico pubblico. La circolazione all'interno delle aree regolate dal
StVO è vietata. Assicurarsi che altre persone non utilizzino l'eBike modificata (ad es.
applicando un blocco).
Il tuning espone l'eBike a sollecitazioni e usura maggiori a causa della velocità più elevata, con
conseguenti rischi aggiuntivi per la sicurezza. A seconda del modello, l'eBike potrebbe non
essere progettata per l'alta velocità ed è quindi possibile che si verifichino guasti a componenti
fondamentali per la sicurezza (ad es. freni, telaio, pneumatici, manubri, ecc.). Si consiglia la
regolare verifica e, se necessario, sostituzione da parte di uno specialista prima di installare il
modulo tuning. Si consiglia di ridurre gli intervalli di ispezione e manutenzione per prevenire
sovraccarichi eccessivi.
L'elevata velocità comporta un aumento del rischio di incidenti e lesioni. Inoltre, aumenta il
rischio di danneggiare altre persone o proprietà. I danni causati dall'utilizzo di eBike modificate
non sono più coperti dall'assicurazione di responsabilità civile. Lo spazio di frenata iniseme ad
altri fattori (ad es. tempo di reazione, abilità di guida) aumentano. Si raccomanda di guidare
sempre con prudenza, di usare indumenti protettivi come caschi e protezioni e di non
compromettere la propria incolumità e quella degli altri.
L'utilizzo del dispositivo tuning Wiesel è a proprio rischio e pericolo. Si declina ogni
responsabilità per eventuali danni attuali o futuri a oggetti o persone causati dalla sua
installazione rimozione o uso. Prima di installare il dispositivo tuning, è importante conoscere
ulteriori informazioni tecniche e legali. Questo vale in particolare per le normative specifiche
dei singoli Paesi.
L'uso del dispositivo tuning può invalidare la garanzia dell'eBike, in quanto il suo utilizzo
costituisce una modifica o manipolazione dell'eBike.

Primi passi

l'installazione e beneficiare dell'assistenza del motore oltre i 25 km h.
Per segnalare l'attivazione del tuning, il tachimetro indicherà una velocità pari a 20 km h per
alcuni secondi dopo l'accensione.
Durante la guida, la veloc tà reale viene indicata fino a 22 km h.
Oltre i 22 km h, la velocità viene visualizzata in modo d verso. L'2 iniziale e la virgola non
hanno più alcun significato.
Ad esempio, 32 km h vengono visualizzati come 23,2 km h:
A partire da una velocità regolabile (impostazione di fabbrica fino a 35 km h) il supporto motore
viene disattivato.
Nota:
È necessaria una calibrazione una tantum per una visualizzazione accurata della velocità e
supporto fino alla velocità di taglio impostata.
